Hello and welcome to another Guided Breathwork session.
Today's breath technique is the physiological sigh.
It's the quickest way to cultivate calm and safety in your body and mind.
It's one deep inhale through your nose filling up your lungs,
Another sip of air topping it up and a long exhale through pursed lips.
Let your body settle and your shoulders to drop away from your ears.
Allow your eyes to close.
Let's begin by inhaling through your nose,
Filling up your lungs.
Taking another sip of air.
And exhaling through pursed lips.
Inhale into the belly.
Top it up in the chest and nice long exhale through the mouth.
Keep that rhythm going.
Place your awareness on the air as it enters.
Cool,
Calm.
As it leaves,
Feel the warmth of your own inner peace.
I am strong.
I am calm.
I am grounded.
Let your awareness drop into your feet.
Feel where they connect to the floor or the ground.
Wriggle your toes here for a moment.
You are grounded.
Feel into your legs.
Give them a squeeze.
Let it go.
Strong.
Steady.
Holding you.
You are calm.
Bring your awareness to your arms and hands.
Give them a squeeze.
Releases.
You are relaxed.
Bring your awareness back to your breath Every inhale reminds you you are present.
Every exhale reminds you you are safe.
Let's finish with some beautiful,
Powerful reminders.
I am strong.
I am calm.
I am grounded.
I am safe.
Just one more physiological sigh.
Exhale release.
Returning to your natural rhythm of breathing,
In and out through the nose.
Come back here at any time you want to create calm in your body and mind.
Bring a smile to your face and feel grateful for this moment of inner peace.
Thank you for breathing with us today.
Remember to breathe deeply and live fully.
See you next time.
