Today,
We are doing 3 energising rounds and 3 techniques to help kickstart the day.
The first technique is supraventilation,
In through the nose and out through the mouth,
Like this.
Deep inhale,
Completely filling up the lungs,
And relaxed exhale out.
The second technique is shamanic,
A double nasal inhale and out through the mouth,
Like this.
First breath into the belly,
Second into the chest,
And relaxed exhale out.
The third technique is a triple nasal inhale and out through the mouth,
Like this.
First breath into the belly,
Second into the chest,
Third topping up any dead space,
And relaxed exhale out.
Each round will be separated with brief breath holds starting at 50 seconds,
Getting as comfortable as possible,
Laying down flat,
Or sitting up tall,
Elongating the spine.
Closing down the eyes,
And breathing out empty.
Starting with supraventilation,

Deep,
Powerful breaths.
Inhale clarity,
And exhale doubt.

Moving on to shamanic,
In belly,
In chest,
Letting it go.
Each breath in,
Bringing about a charge of energy.
Exhaling any negativity.
Last shamanic breath at this pace,
Moving on to double speed,

Finding calm in this brief moment of stillness.

Tucking the chin,
Squeezing the abdominals and the pelvic floor muscles.
Letting it go.
Starting off with shamanic for round 2,
Let's go in,

Bringing about a sense of focus in this breath.
Moving on to double speed,

Let the body guide the mind.
Take a deep breath in,

Letting it go,

Allowing the body to rest in this moment of stillness.
Allowing the body to access it's infinite wisdom.
It knows exactly what it needs to do.

Combining all 3 techniques for this final round.

Moving on to double speed shamanic,

Final transition for the round,
Moving on to the triple inhale.

Relaxing into our 60 second breath retention.
Just allowing the body to completely relax.
Just noticing any sensations,
Tingling,
The blood flow,
Your heartbeat.
Just becoming aware.
Slowing everything down.

Taking a deep breath in,

Tucking the chin,
Squeezing the abdominals and the pelvic floor muscles.
Letting it go,
Taking a gentle sip through the nose,
And now through the nose.
Just returning to your regular cadence of breathing.
Allowing some gentle movement in the body,
Wiggling your fingers and your toes.
Bringing a smile to your face.
