A short and simple explanation of the signs, symptoms and complexities of burnout. The groups of people most at risk were new to me. Understanding that a predisposition for extreme perfectionism can be a strong marker for burnout helped me expand my own view that it can be the result of a collapsing nervous system under the weight of one's own expectations of oneself. This goes beyond the realm of something that only "professionals" with demanding jobs experience, but something much more relatable to my own experience. Suddenly, I see it - and i can't unsee it now. Thank you for bringing this to light for me, and all of us, Tara 🙏

I really enjoyed the pace of this meditation, the background music that was neither too loud and distracting or too hard to hear. The instructor has a beautiful voice and I appreciated her instructions. I take away the affirmation, "I am my own best friend." Thank you!
