Good morning.
Welcome to Take Care Coaching guided meditation.
This meditation will help you ease into your day with more calm and intention.
Let's begin by getting into a comfortable position.
You're welcome to stay cozy in your bed or you can find a comfortable seated position on the floor.
Make sure whatever position you choose,
You maintain a neutral spine.
If it's a cool morning where you are,
Perhaps pull the covers back over you if you're still in bed or grab a sweater or blanket to keep you warm.
Once settled,
Gently close your eyes and check in with how your body feels after a night's rest.
Did you sleep deeply,
Lightly,
Or somewhere in between?
There's no need to judge,
Just notice what comes up for you.
Now slowly scan your body from head to toe,
Beginning at the top of your head.
Relax your forehead,
Your eyes,
Your jaw.
Relax your neck.
Let your shoulders sink down.
Feel your chest,
Middle back,
Lower back,
And your hips.
Relax your upper legs.
Relax your lower legs,
And your feet and toes.
Feel the weight of your body resting here.
Now bring your attention to your breath.
Notice the air moving in through your nose and out through your nose or mouth.
You don't have to change anything,
Just follow your breathing.
If your mind wanders,
Gently guide it back to your breathing.
Now take a moment to ask yourself,
What would make today a great day?
It could be something small,
Like feeling more calm,
Being kind to yourself,
Or finishing a specific task.
Whatever comes up for you,
Let that intention settle in your mind.
Imagine yourself moving through your day with that intention guiding you.
If your intention is to be more calm,
Picture yourself pausing before responding,
Meeting challenges with steadiness and ease,
And choosing patience.
Feel a difference in your body.
Your thoughts as you imagine your day.
Really let your intention become vivid and real.
Watching yourself living your intention naturally and confidently,
As if it's already part of who you are.
Return to your breath once again,
Feeling its natural rise and fall in your body.
Now gently bring your attention to one thing you're grateful for in this moment.
It might be something simple,
Like the quiet around you,
A deep breath,
Or the small pocket of time you've given yourself before the day began.
Allow yourself to truly feel that gratitude.
Notice how it softens your thoughts and steadies your energy.
Let this sense of appreciation set the tone for the hours ahead.
Take one slow breath in,
And a full breath out,
Knowing you'll carry this calm gratitude and intention with you into the rest of your day.
Before you open your eyes,
Imagine a sunrise slowly unfolding in the space around you.
See the first soft glow stretching across the horizon,
Gentle and warm.
As you imagine this light gradually growing brighter,
Feel that same warmth awakening you from within,
Bringing clarity,
Energy,
And focus.
Imagine the room where you are is filled with golden light,
And you feel refreshed and ready to meet the day ahead.
When you feel fully awake,
Gently open your eyes and take a stretch if you need to.
