Hi,
My name is Tess from The Big Heart Journey,
And this is a heart hug meditation if you are going in for an operation or a procedure and you are feeling nervous energy.
Can you find a comfortable spot sitting up or lying down,
Whatever works for you?
And invite your body to soften and allow the earth to support you.
Become aware of your breath.
Let it flow in and flow out.
And notice how easy it is to breathe.
You don't have to do anything,
It just happens.
You inhale and you exhale and your body responds.
Your body is magic.
Just notice the muscles inside of your body and find a place where you feel tension.
Sit with the tense spots and imagine all of the cells in your body moving to the tension,
And as they arrive,
The tension melts away.
Inhale,
Exhale,
And let go of any tension on your neck and shoulders and around your shoulder blades.
Now notice your eyes in the space around your eyes.
Feel the tension in the muscles in your face.
Inhale and exhale,
And just feel the muscles in your face soften and open.
Bring your attention to your chest and notice any tension there and just sit with it.
Imagine all of the cells in your body moving to the places that need support.
Inhale,
Feel it expand.
Exhale,
And feel it releasing.
Find somewhere else that feels tense and sit with that tension.
Breathe it in,
Breathe it out,
And feel that tension melting slowly away.
Now I want you to imagine that it's a pleasantly warm day,
Not too hot,
Little breeze in the air,
And you are sitting on a comfortable chair with your feet up.
You can hear the sounds of birds from ever so far away.
You can hear a child's giggle.
Breathe in the warm air and breathe it out and imagine it filling your body.
Picture the cells in your body all doing their thing.
You don't have to do anything.
They're just there and they just do their thing all day long.
Your body just responding,
Just being alive.
Your magical body right here,
Right now.
This is your relaxed spot.
Repeat these words in your head.
I am relaxed and calm.
I am relaxed and calm.
I trust.
I see a life where I am strong and healthy.
I am relaxed and calm.
I trust.
I see a life where I am strong and healthy.
Now see that life.
See how it will feel on the other side of this.
How will it feel to breathe?
How will it feel to move?
How will it feel to have the sun on your face?
To wake up in the morning and know that you made it through this time.
Feel that feeling like it's happening right now.
Breathe into that feeling.
Breathe into that newness,
All of your cells lining up and saying yes.
Your body healed and free.
Your breath moving easily.
Your life energy flowing.
Say yes in your head as you imagine the healing energy,
The light and the movement and all of your perfect cells moving together.
