My name is Tess from The Big Heart Journey,
And I want to welcome you to your day.
Thank you for being here with me today.
I believe the most important thing that we can do in the morning is to tune our vibration to our heart.
I like to think of our heart as our own little personal radio.
And you know that noise when a radio station is not quite right on the right spot and it has a little bit of white noise.
In the morning,
We want to tune into your heartbeat,
Remove all of that white noise and really focus on who you are and how you want to show up today.
And when we spend just a few minutes in the morning doing this,
We are much more likely to spend our day living within our own hearts.
And in those moments that we get pulled off track,
Being able to come back on track,
Get back to our radio station of our heart more quickly.
So I want to invite you today to find a comfortable spot.
You can just keep lying in bed if you like,
You can sit up,
You can do whatever it is that makes you feel the most relaxed.
And I want to invite you to begin by putting your hands on your heart.
That beautiful heart of yours that has been with you since the day that you were born.
That heart that beats all day,
That beats all night.
That heart that has loved so much and felt so much and cares for so many people.
That heart that has broken and healed.
That heart that is with you through every single feeling that you have ever felt.
Can you be so quiet right now that you can feel and hear your own heartbeat?
And as you sit here with your heart,
I want you to imagine your favorite self,
Not your best self,
But your favorite self.
The self that feels the most like you.
Who are you when you feel safe,
When you feel balanced,
When you feel like you belong?
You feel excited and hopeful,
Connected,
Open.
What are some words that come into your mind when you imagine your favorite self?
Unstoppable.
Loving.
Creative.
Resourceful.
Joyful.
Peaceful.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
And imagine filling your heart with these words.
Creative.
Loved.
Grateful.
Joy-filled.
Loving.
Can you picture in your mind your favorite self?
And maybe you might want to picture a really specific moment of a time when you were your favorite self.
When you felt fully present and alive.
When you felt filled with the joy of being a human here on planet Earth.
How did that feel in your body?
Breathe in.
And imagine pulling that feeling into your heart.
That feeling of being your favorite self.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Pulling that favorite self in towards your heart.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Filling yourself up with the joy of being you.
Breathe in.
And now I want to invite you to pick one word for your day.
Of course your day will be filled with many different types of words and many different types of feelings.
But if you were going to keep one tether word.
A word that will keep you tethered to your heart and in those moments when things happen that maybe don't feel so good and feelings come.
What's a word that you can use to bring yourself back to your favorite self.
To bring yourself back to that big heart of yours.
Pick one word now.
Breathe in.
And breathe out and pull that word right into your heart.
And in those moments today remember that that word lives inside of your heart.
That word is here and ready for you anytime that you need it.

Just reveling in the beauty of you and of your big heart.
And as you sit and breathe and sit on the edge of the day that you're about to have.
