It's me Tess and I want to welcome you to our big heart bedtime.
It is so good to see you.
So once you have brushed your teeth and washed your face,
Put on your jammies and said goodnight to everybody that you love in your house,
Come on back and maybe grab a stuffy or your favorite blanket and get nice and cozy.
And let's start today like we always do with our heart.
Put your hands in your heart.
I want to invite you to close your eyes and just notice your heart beating inside of your chest.
And when you can feel your heartbeat,
Can you show me on your face with a great big smile?
Take a big deep breath in.
Let it out.
Get a little floppy.
Can you get a little floppy?
Big breath in.
Let it out.
Get a little floppy,
Floppy,
Floppy,
Floppy.
Can you shake your hands,
Shake your head,
Shake your shoulders,
Shake your feet?
Good.
Now come on back and put your hands in your heart.
Now I want to invite you to think of something that happened today that made your heart feel really happy.
What is something that made your heart feel really happy?
And if you're watching this with someone else,
Share it with them now.
And if you're watching it here with me,
Say it out loud for me.
Now can you imagine that you're holding out your hands like this and you're going to put that memory of that thing that happened today that made you so happy?
You're going to take it and put it inside of your heart and give your heart a little hug like this.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
And can you say thank you?
Now I want to invite you to think of something that happened today that might have given you a big feeling.
Did you have any big feelings today?
You can share it with me or you can share it with the person that you're here with.
And now I want to invite you to reach your hands out and imagine that thing that gave you big feelings today.
Imagine those feelings right on your hand.
And remember that it's okay to feel all of our feelings and we just want to love those feelings.
And let's take all of those feelings,
Take a big deep breath in,
Let it out,
And wrap our arms around them and give them a big hug.
It's okay to feel all of our feelings.
Good.
And put your hands in your heart.
And can you say thank you?
Thank you for all of the feelings that we feel.
Now can you think of something from your day that you can think big thank you thoughts for?
It can be anything at all.
What can you say thank you for that happened today?
There's probably lots of things,
So try to say as many as you can in this space.
Now imagine reaching out and putting all of those things that you're feeling big thank you thoughts for right on your hands.
Take a big deep breath in,
Let it out,
And put those inside of your heart.
Good.
Now can you think of somebody in your day who you really love?
Who did you get to see today that you really,
Really love?
Good.
Now imagine holding your hands out in front of you and taking that person or more people if you want.
Take a big deep breath in,
Let it out,
And put them inside of your heart.
So inside of your heart you have happy memories,
You have people that you love that love you,
You have things that you feel big thank you thoughts,
And we have all of our big feelings that we've given a big hug to.
Before I go to bed at night I like to just lie there with my hands in my heart and imagine putting all of these things into my heart before I fall asleep.
So I want to invite you to keep your hands in your heart,
That heart that is filled with all of these beautiful things and all of these people who love you so much.
Just notice your heart beating and as you fall asleep tonight remember there is nobody in the whole world with a heart just like yours.
