Finding joy.
Seeds of joy activation.
Find yourself a comfortable meditation position.
Allow your eyes to gently draw per close and get ready to bring your awareness inwards.
Let's find joy together.
Bringing awareness to your breath.
As you breathe in,
Visualize drawing a sense of lightness in.
Exhale,
Release,
Let go.
Working with our inhale to cultivate spaciousness,
Hope and lightness.
And exhale,
Releasing any stagnant energy,
Worries or denseness.
As you breathe in this way,
Welcoming in a half smile.
A gentle raising of the side of your mouth.
Noticing how this simple gesture changes the sensation within the body.
Allowing your face to relax,
But welcoming in the positive sensations.
Spending time inhaling,
Welcoming in hope.
Exhaling,
Releasing,
Letting go of any tension.
Every breath is a new opportunity to invite well-being into your body and spirit.
Today is a good day and you deserve to feel delight,
Content and alive.
Using the breath to cultivate positive sensations and emotions.
A joyful hello of energy into and out from the body.
Like the morning bird song and chorus waking the day.
Using the breath to wake and ignite your opportunity for joy.
From this beautiful,
Calm space you've cultivated.
Let's begin to visualize in front of you a pot of seeds.
This pot is sparkling and glistening and glowing with the seeds within.
The seeds are light and magic.
Each seed carries within an opportunity to expand your joyful feelings and experiences.
You pick up the first seed.
This is the seed of appreciation.
You place the seed within your mouth and it gently dissolves.
Waves of appreciation flow down from your mouth,
Through your neck,
Through your chest and into your belly.
And you feel such gratitude for all you have.
You spend a moment enjoying the warmth of this sensation.
You breathe and smile and pick up the second seed.
This seed is the seed of happiness.
You place it in your mouth and you remember all the happy experiences you've had in your life.
You feel tingling and glowing as the sensations of happiness flood your body.
As you allow these sensations to build,
You know that many more happy experiences await you.
You pick up the third seed.
The seed of pleasure.
As you pop it in your mouth,
It takes you.
It tastes like magic.
Your senses delight as pleasure moves through you.
Your body moves feeling fulfilled,
Knowing that you are worthy of pleasure.
You pick up the fourth seed.
This is the seed of well-being.
You instantly feel more alive,
More vital.
You place this in your mouth and it dissolves,
Leaving you feeling more free,
More flexible,
More vibrant.
Energy pulses through you.
You're filled with hope and excitement at your body,
Mind and soul in full health.
There is one seed left.
It glows and shines so brightly.
You pick it up and hold it for a moment.
And as you do,
Your hand begins to glow and you feel the warmth.
Suddenly,
Joyful images and moments flow through your mind.
Joyful colors,
Music,
Scenes in nature,
Loved ones' faces.
You smell delicious smells and smells that ignite joy within.
You're reminded of joyful things,
The things you love.
The river flowing,
The ocean swirl,
The buds budding in the first stages of spring.
You then place the seed in your mouth and it anchors all the joyful things,
Moments,
Experiences into your being.
A reminder of all the things you love.
Your eyes glisten with sheer joy and happiness and your body is tingling and sparkling.
You breathe deeply,
Soaking it all in.
Again,
Allowing that half smile now to grow.
Welcome it all in with the breath.
And share it back out with the exhale.
Taking a moment to process,
To ground yourself back in.
Bringing all those joyful activations with you.
Seeing yourself glowing,
Blooming,
And ready to return to your day feeling lighter and filled with hope.
Repeating in your mind,
I am ready to welcome joy.
I am ready to welcome joy.
Smiling,
Wriggling fingers and toes,
Welcoming in movement to your beautiful body.
Deep breaths in and out.
And when you feel ready,
Just opening those eyes,
Beginning to witness the world through the eyes of hope and joy.
With so much love,
From my heart to yours,
Namaste.
