Affirmations for menopause.

As we move into this stage and initiation of life,

It can feel overwhelming and we may experience anxiety,

Rage,

Depression that we may have never experienced before.

Sometimes that's coupled with physical and mental changes too and this meditation is designed to foster a sense of compassion,

Kindness and empowerment as you navigate through the threshold of perimenopause and beyond.

The second spring.

I have created this meditation to support our mindset and build hope,

To create a new vision for ourself and what's possible.

So let's begin.

You can listen to this meditation on the go,

First thing in the morning or last thing at night.

You can use it as an opportunity to rest and reset and guide you back to a more empowered space.

If you're going to be seated or lie down,

Just finding somewhere comfortable to rest,

Making any adjustments so you can create as much space for relaxation as possible.

So bringing awareness to your breath,

Noticing the sensations of the breath as it enters your body,

Noticing any aspects of your body that are moving such as your chest or your belly,

Just bringing awareness to the gentle movement,

Bringing awareness to the parts of the body that are still,

Maybe your hands,

Your feet,

The back of your body,

Just tuning in and noticing stillness as you breathe.

Allowing the breath and mindful awareness to foster relaxation.

I'm now going to guide you through some affirmations.

You can allow these to be absorbed into your subconscious.

You can choose to repeat them out loud or silently in your head or simply listen.

You are always in control.

Be with your breath throughout,

Soft,

Slow,

Gentle breaths.

I am ready to embrace all aspects of me.

I love,

Honour and respect my body.

I allow my sacred rage to be expressed safely.

I trust my capacity for emotion.

I am confident and courageous.

I am knowledgeable.

I sleep well and allow myself to rest.

Joy is available to me.

My body is healthy and vibrant.

My hormones are balanced and support me.

My mind is clear.

I make decisions with ease and confidence.

I am authentically being me.

I am hopeful and empowered.

I fall asleep with ease.

I love my body,

Mind and soul.

I make nourishing choices that support me.

I am calm and peaceful.

I make choices that reduce stress.

I embrace my body changes with love and compassion.

I am powerful and strong.

I deserve to rest.

I speak clearly and confidently.

I feel passionate about my life and what lies ahead.

I am healthy and vibrant.

I am ready to embrace all aspects of me.

Bringing this practice to a close today.

Taking some deep,

Nourishing breaths.

Anchoring the affirmations into mind,

Body and soul.

Allowing a gentle smile to form as you breathe.

Feeling calm,

Rested,

Ready to return.

Wriggling your fingers,

Toes,

Deepening the breath.

And when you feel ready,

You can gently open your eyes.

LET THE CHURCH SAY, AMEN! Thank you so much for doing this track. Like so many others, the struggle of menopause has been real. I just sent this to two of my friends. Also, the music was perfect. Nice choice.

I never knew there could be affirmations for menopause. I can’t tell you how much I appreciated this meditation! There are days when I feel like I am losing my mind because I am joyful, angry, weepy, and exhausted all in one day. I have been on HRT for 18 months now, and I thought I would just learn to live with it. These meditations allowed me to pause, and remember, that this too, is part of life. And that I am blessed to experience it. I love these affirmations. I plan to bookmark this meditation and use it daily. Thank you so very much for sharing a meditation on a topic that is so often overlooked. 🙏🏽Namaste.

menopause is a challenging time and who doesn’t need a little more support when we are in a world that celebrates youth? suzi gives us a way to ride it out with self-compassion.
