Golden Light Meditation

Taking a very deep breath, together, we breathe in love, exhaling judgement. Breathe in acceptance and exhale resentment. Feel the unity within us all, viewing ourselves fully and accepting ourselves completely.

Taking a very deep breath.

And one more,

Just bringing yourself present to the chair,

To the practice.

And another breath,

Opening your heart,

Allowing what's in your heart just to be.

Another breath,

Softening the mind,

Allowing what's in that mind space just to be.

And I want you to imagine yourself looking into a magnifying mirror.

And look as close as you can so that all you see is what's in the mirror.

This is kind of like the blind wise men that are looking at the elephant,

Different parts or sides of an elephant.

And all they can see is what's right in front of them or all they can feel is right in front of them.

That's what I want you to focus on.

Usually we use a mirror to pick ourselves apart,

You know,

Find the things we don't like,

The blemishes,

In my case the extra freckles or wrinkles.

So just take a moment to get as close as you dare to face yourself in this mirror.

And taking another breath.

Breathing in without judgment.

And exhaling any judgment.

And see as you're continuing to look at yourself microscopically,

Breathe in acceptance.

And exhale judgment.

Just being with you.

And then I want you to take a moment to zoom out,

Breathing in acceptance.

I know the ladies are really going to squirm with this.

Breathing in acceptance and zoom out until your entire image is in that mirror.

I notice how it makes you feel to see yourself,

To really look at yourself.

Many of us just zip by a mirror or a window where our reflection is and we avoid it.

But today,

Taking a look at the full image of your physical being.

Breathing in acceptance.

That's hard,

Huh?

Breathing out judgment.

You must do that a few times,

Just breathing in acceptance and breathing out judgment.

Acceptance.

Exhaling judgment.

And then I'm going to ask you to zoom out a little bit more with yourself still in the image.

And begin to notice that the more you zoom out,

The less specific blemishes or things that you don't like about yourself.

They become smaller.

Almost nonexistent.

Breathing in acceptance.

And exhaling judgment.

And I see if you can hold that zoom out.

And just notice what you can see in your mind and what you can't see.

Breathing acceptance.

Exhaling judgment.

And notice how your mind squirms.

So breathing into the heart space,

Activating the love and the light that you are from that higher perspective.

Begin to fill this image of yourself with a radiant golden light.

However you want to feel that or see it,

It can either be activated from your heart,

A beautiful golden light that fills this image,

Or I often feel it sprinkling down and entering in like golden glitter into my body,

Into my aura.

Whatever works for you,

But just breathing that golden light.

Knowing that golden light is alchemic.

It's not just transformational,

It transmutes.

And filling up this image with that light from the top of your head all the way to the tip of your toes,

Golden light.

And begin to notice any shifts or changes in your field of vision.

Any changes in your mindset.

Any changes in your heart center.

Allowing that golden light within you to begin to multiply.

Almost like a pulsing.

Knowing that there is surrounding you and this image of you.

Almost like a beautiful shell or membrane that is holding that light as it begins to multiply.

See if you can feel it.

And begin to feel that image that may still seem or appear like it's outside of you.

Allow it to move towards you,

Integrating within your physical,

Mental,

And emotional bodies.

Allowing that golden light,

Which is always receptive,

To receive that image that was you,

That is you.

As you feel this light within you,

Pulsing.

And on the count of three,

We're going to release our light that we've activated this morning,

This golden light that is transformative,

That is transmuting your mindset,

Transmuting your DNA,

Truly.

On the count of three,

We're going to release it out into the world,

Knowing it is going to serve the highest good and touch all those in need of light.

Are you ready?

Okay.

So on the count of three,

We're going to open up our heart space and send this golden light out.

One.

Two.

Taking a deep breath.

Three.

And just feel how open and alive you are right now.

How golden you are.

How beautiful.

And then just breathing into your heart center again.

Allowing that beautiful energy that's filling you and surrounding you to lead you this day,

This beautiful Monday,

Wherever you are.

Coming back into the center of your heart,

Into the love,

Into the light that you are.

And just feel your feet on the ground.

Feel your body on the chair.

Breathing your attention and awareness back into the room where you are.

And just feel that beautiful radiant golden light that you are.

And then just take another breath just being present to now.

And when you're ready,

Just open your eyes.
