Stephen Dalton has been creating Stories for Sleep and Meditations for years now. His mission is to help people find peace and sleep in this sometimes chaotic world. He loves his work and he loves to help people. He has always been passionate about the idea that we all deserve peace and we all deserve self love. He says "there is no shame in loving yourself and taking care of your inner life. In fact it is a very selfless act. By taking care of our inner lives, and our sleep of course, we are going to be better for those around us". Stephen trained as an actor at the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. He was destined for a life on stage and screen, but his mental health was not capable of coping with the pressure. As a result, Stephen took a step back from the limelight. It was at that point, around ten years ago now, that Stephen found Meditation and his love for the restorative benefits of Sleep. It was also at that point that he found his voice. Literally. Stephen realised that his voice had the power to heal and to bring peace to others. And that's what he has been doing ever since. Stephen's voice has found its place in the world and it is here, now, for you to enjoy.

Loving these sleep stories! I normally struggle with tracks that are guiding me to relax before bed (weird I know) but my brain can start worrying about it not working and not sleeping - I often use something distracting like HP. But these stories I find so relaxing and calming and instead of being distracted I actually feel pulled into a restful state. I also love that they’re long as on the odd night now where sleep doesn’t come I can put them on in the background and enjoy listening. I love the sound effects, I know someone mentioned the whistle of the kettle woke them, but I find the sound so soothing (probably because I have had a whistle kettle for years and it reminds me of living on our canal boat!) Thank you for creating and sharing these 🙏
