Welcome.
Today's practice is focused on the idea of purity.
What does it mean to live purely and how can we welcome more purity into life?
Let's begin.
Let's begin by finding a way to be comfortable in the body.
A way where the body feels wholly and completely supported by whatever is beneath it.
Let's see if you can begin to allow your body to be drawn downward.
Can we allow gravity to draw the muscles downward?
To loosen the joints?
Letting bones grow heavy?
As we allow our bodies to rest on the earth,
Can we allow ourselves to arrive here in this present moment?
This moment is exactly as it needs to be and you are exactly where you need to be.
So we might ask ourselves,
Where am I in this moment?
Often when we check in with ourselves,
We find our thoughts are far away from where we are.
Our attention is often placed elsewhere.
And we gather ourselves up wholly and completely,
Bringing ourselves to this very moment.
Let's take a breath into the body,
Perhaps noticing the way the breath moves in and out.
I am here in this moment,
In my wholeness.
When we contemplate the idea of purity,
We can bring our awareness to the pureness of our thoughts.
Are there thoughts that I can allow myself to let go of in this moment?
Am I aware of thought patterns that bring me away from the purity of the moment?
The clarity of seeing where I truly am?
Perhaps we can bring to mind habits or patterns that we engage in that bring us away from the moment?
Relationships that bring out an impurity in our thoughts or actions?
Are there patterns or habits or relationships that could be released so that I may live more purely in my spirit?
Can I allow myself to be wholly present in each moment in life?
Can I allow my actions to be led by intention?
Can I allow myself to accept that all is exactly as it should be?
Blessings.
Namaste.
