Through this simple movement and breath practice, you will feel exhilarated, enlivened, and at ease within yourself at the end of this meditation. And welcome to this I am free meditation from Stay With Yourself.

Today you are free.

So just take a moment wherever you are,

Whatever you're feeling,

And begin to just move your shoulders up and down and back.

Kind of like just shaking off any weight off your shoulders.

Just really roll on those shoulders up and back and down.

Kind of a circular motion.

Start moving your shoulders.

You can even begin to move your neck a little bit.

Allow your neck to move around.

Your head to get heavy from one side to the next while moving your shoulders.

Just really opening up through the heart space.

Up into the back of your neck.

Find your shoulder blades.

You can begin to move your hips too.

Just really allow your body to start moving a little bit in a way that just feels really good.

That just brings a little bit of relief.

Little tension release in the body.

Really loosen your joints.

Prepare yourself for freedom.

Feel your body alive with energy moving.

In whatever way just feels good to you,

Check in with your body here in this moment.

Where do you need to release tension?

Where do you need to relax?

Just allow yourself to sit here or stand here or lay here with your eyes closed.

Just really feel your ability to move through space.

You can even stretch your arms out next to you.

Stretch your arms out wide.

Stretch your arms up tall over your head.

Stretch them down towards the ground or your feet.

Stretch your arms behind you.

You can be like a bird flapping your wings and just really feel yourself taking up space.

Allow yourself to take up space,

Really spread out.

Reach out from arm to arm,

Hand to hand,

Out from your sides,

Really reaching and stretching.

And then just with your arms,

Make an arc over your head and down,

Almost like you're making a snow angel with your body.

Again,

From wherever you're sitting or standing or laying down,

Just start to bring some freedom and movement to the body in a really relaxed way.

Super easy,

Small,

Gentle.

And then just repeat to yourself as you move your body,

I am free.

I am free.

I am free.

Allow yourself to smile and say that out loud.

I am free.

And smile to yourself and say,

I am free.

You can imagine sort of the insides of your body frolicking and getting excited,

Hooping and hollering because they are free.

You are free.

Every part of you free,

Absolutely free.

So just remind yourself of this as you do some body movements,

Stretching,

Feeling yourself in all of time and space.

You can even get rambunctious with it and jump on the bed if you want to and shout at the top of your lungs,

I am free.

Or you can just lay here and quietly whisper it.

I am free.

I am free.

I am free.

I am free.

Just whisper this to every cell of your body.

50 trillion cells.

It's amazing.

I am free.

I am free.

And don't stop saying it.

Remind yourself,

Remind your body.

Grease up your limbs with that mantra.

I am free.

I am free.

Feel it in your bones.

Feel it in your knees and elbows.

Feel it in all your joints.

Feel I am free.

I am free.

And then stretch and move and take up space and be free in the world.

Imagine yourself being free to just laugh out loud and take up space.

Taking up space in any way that you desire to take up space because you're valid and beautiful and worthy and amazing exactly as you are.

So remind yourself,

I am free.

I am free.

I am free because you are free.

You are free to be you in the world.

In form and heart and spirit.

All of it.

I am free.

I am free.

I am free.

And feel this freedom just in your movement,

Just in your breath,

In your voice,

And in the images you have of yourself living a life of freedom.

And smile to yourself.

I am free.

I am free.

Yes.

Yes,

You are.

So I'm going to leave you here with several minutes of soft music and I want you to really play with this in your body and with your voice and with your words.

I am free.

I am free.

Come up with a posture,

A stance,

Something that feels really good in your body to where anytime you take this posture,

You take this stance and you say the words,

I am free,

Your whole body is activated and reminded that you're free.

Free to speak your truth.

Free to feel how you feel.

Free to just be exactly who you are in any given moment.

Yes.

Okay.

Enjoy your time here.

Take as long as you need.

And in the meantime,

May you stay with yourself today and always.

Thank you Jessica ๐Ÿงก...I enjoyed combining movement in the meditation even if they were little movements from my bed ๐Ÿ›Œ ๐Ÿ˜. As I currently feel I'm going against the grain of cultural norms....what is expected of me and what I had previously expected of myself...its helpful to have this reminder that I am free to be me. Combining with your other meditations like a power trio, I can do this....I am free, I am thriving, I am a rockstar ๐Ÿ˜ Lots of love ๐ŸŒป๐Ÿ™๐ŸŒป
