Connecting to loved ones in spirit.
Imagine you're walking along a narrow path beside a river bank.
Looking up,
You see the sky as a beautiful clear blue.
You might hear the faint tinkling sound of the water as the river gently flows along.
Find a comfortable and safe place to sit on the river bank and let your bare feet dangle in the water.
Experience how cool,
Refreshing water feels on your feet.
Be still for a moment to allow the natural healing and refreshing energy of the water to seep into your body.
This beautiful natural healing energy connects you completely with the energies of Mother Earth and will keep you fully grounded for the day.
When you're ready,
Come up from the river bank and find a good place where you can get comfortable for the meditation.
Perhaps you're under the shade of a nearby tree or maybe you're sitting in the glare of a sunbeam which is shining down.
Be aware of your own breathing.
Slow it down.
Stay focused on slowing your breath right down.
Now move your attention to your heartbeat.
Slow that down.
Down.
Down.
As you sit there,
Allow yourself to feel the peace and the love that is all around you.
Let those feelings build up.
Let them develop.
Love for yourself and love for others.
Contentment.
Despite the challenges and obstacles you've faced.
Acceptance.
Let peace and love be the dominating senses that you experience in this time.
As you feel the love,
Expand it so it reaches your aura and that too expands.
It gets brighter and lighter.
Make your aura as light and bright as you can.
Now I'd like you to invite someone from Spirit who you're connected to,
To come and be with you.
Ask them to come into your aura,
Your personal energy field so that you can fully experience their presence.
See their face.
Feel their form.
Take their hand as they draw near.
Feel the clothing that they wore.
The sense of them in your arms.
Let all the feelings you have for them come back to you as if they were still in physical form,
Walking on the earth.
As you share this time together,
They will assist you by giving you help and advice.
Take their support.
Their guidance.
Think about it and remember it.

You can breathe deeply,
Have a stretch,
A wriggle and open your eyes.
As you go forward into your day,
Take the advice,
The love and the support of your loved ones and spirit with you.
