Meeting your guide.
We begin this meditation by grounding ourselves.
In your mind visualize a beautiful big tree right in front of you.
It can be a tree of your choosing as long as it's big and beautiful.
See the tree bathed in beautiful sunlight.
Take in as much detail as you can of the tree.
Its height,
Its breadth.
Step forward and touch the trunk with your hands.
Feel how rough or smooth it is around the outside.
Now turn yourself around and lean your back against the tree to merge with it.
Positioning yourself at its heart center.
Feeling things from the inside.
Connect with the roots that are below your feet.
See how strong they are and deep they go.
You now become one with the roots.
And like the roots of the tree you draw up goodness from the ground.
Take in as much energy as you need from the earth at this time.
Now shift your awareness to the branches and the leaves overhead.
See how they reach up towards the sky drawing in energy from the sun.
Tilt your chin upwards and allow the sun to shine down on your face and on your body.
Warming you,
Healing you,
Nourishing you.
Take in as much energy as you need from the sunshine.
And just for a moment fully appreciate the oneness that you achieve with Mother Nature at this time.
Now if you're ready step away from the tree and find a place nearby where you can get comfortable.
Breathe slowly and deeply.
Inhale fresh clean air.
Exhale all the stale air that you don't need in your body.
When you breathe in you draw in positivity.
And when you breathe out,
You breathe out all the unwanted negative energy from within.
This is a time to release your hold on your issues and problems and worries.
As you begin to relax,
You begin to get comfortable and you feel your body soften and your mind clear.
You're content at this time to sit quietly.
As you sit in your own energy or what we call sometimes sitting in the power.
And as you sit in stillness,
Allow the colors of your own aura to come to you.
Picture them in your mind or sense them around you as they become stronger and more vibrant.
Allow your own energy to build and expand and the bigger it becomes,
The more relaxed and happy you feel.
You're reaching to connect with your higher self and as you do you go deeper into your meditation.
You can now in your mind ask your guide to step forward to be by your side.
Whether or not you can see,
Sense or feel your guides presence,
Just know they are there.
Ask for their wisdom and their help and calm your mind right down,
Leaving yourself open to information and imagery to come into your thoughts.
Remember when you ask a question to wait patiently with an open mind for the answer.
I will leave you for a while but remember everything you've experienced such as presence,
Feelings,
Emotions,
Images or mood changes.
And remember the impression you have of your guide who steps forward to work with you.
Relax now and I will come back for you.
Yn It's now time to say thank you to the guide who stepped forward to work with you today.
Thank them for their love,
Their energy and their support.
Assimilate their teaching and your new understanding into your life and into your mindfulness of your journey.
Remember you can recreate this meditation any time you wish by just going to a quiet place in your mind and connecting with your guide.
So when you're ready,
Take some long deep breaths of fresh air.
Really draw that fresh air deep into your lungs as you start to bring yourself back to the room by feeling the surfaces that you're sitting next to.
Connect fully with the place where you sit.
Still breathing deeply you can wiggle your fingers and toes and just open your eyes when you're ready.
