Come home to your body. Meditation and music are a massage for the body. It can touch into the deepest spots, move the heart, caress the stomach, shift and dissolve pain. The body hums in approval of these frequencies and these words. Savor the feeling of being massaged like this. Let it be so delicious. Let this meditation wash over your entire body and being.

Transcript

So I invite everybody to close your eyes.

Certainly it's not necessary,

But what happens is a kind of inward movement.

We start all of our meditations by simply being aware of awareness.

Awareness is that which is looking out of your eyes.

It is that which sees thought.

It is not thought.

It is the background awareness that's been there your whole life and before you were born.

Let's put this together,

Some qualities of this awareness that's looking out of your eyes,

That's listening to my voice,

That very,

Very background,

All the way to the back.

That background awareness is endlessly vast.

It also permeates everything,

The body,

The room,

Everything.

It is also perfectly silent.

What we do here is we bring this awareness deeply into the body.

That is the resurrection.

That is what we're here for,

To deeply enjoy this being,

This avatar,

This flesh and bone.

But we have to come inside.

So I invite you to come inside,

Starting with the top of the head.

And that means just to feel the top of the head.

Feel the hair on your head.

Feel the warmth or the breeze.

Start to feel into the skin.

And then we start to bring that awareness down into the skull.

Back of the skull,

Sides of the skull,

And the front of the skull.

Let awareness start to pour down like warm water.

Warm water and honey dripping down the back of the head,

Seeping into the brain itself.

We use the music to help point out sensation.

You can feel the reverberation inside the skull,

Inside the brain.

Starting to bring that awareness down into the back of the head now,

In the brainstem.

Let awareness soak into the brainstem.

Let the sound penetrate it.

This is a very alive area,

The back of the third eye.

What is it to let all this music permeate the back of your head?

And now coming forward to the middle of the head,

Letting the music come penetrate all through the middle of the head.

Can you feel the sound reverberating right in the center of your head?

We're coming through the third eye now and to the front of the third eye,

The forehead,

The eyes and the eyebrows,

Behind the eyes,

Behind the nose.

Let's try the back of the throat as well.

Aware,

Just aware.

And if there are thoughts,

It's no problem at all.

Just come on back to the sensation in your forehead,

Behind your eyes,

Back of the throat.

And let awareness come forward into the nose,

Into the cheeks,

Into the roof of the mouth,

The teeth.

Let it come into the jaw,

Using the music to point out,

Here is sensation,

Here is the body.

Feel your teeth,

Feel your tongue,

Feel the root of your tongue in the back.

Let your whole head vibrate now.

Let the music just reverberate through it.

Enjoy the feeling of sensation.

And if there's pain,

A reason to pay attention to that spot,

To let the sound vibrate through it.

Pain is not a problem to solve,

It's not a problem at all.

It's just a spot that hasn't been loved.

It's been a bit abandoned,

Left in the cold.

About if you gave it the love now,

The awareness,

The attention.

What is it to let this music vibrate through your whole head,

Humming it,

Letting it hum.

Let's come down into the neck,

Following that brain stem down into the spine.

Feel the vibration in the throat,

In the neck,

Inside the spine itself,

Inside those vertebrae.

The throat open,

It receives sound,

Receives the hug of awareness.

Let the whole head and neck vibrate and soften.

It's a gentle opening process.

And if thought is busy,

It just means you're on a hot spot.

Your body,

That's where that belief is stored.

Stay with it.

Back to awareness,

To the sensation you left off with.

Beautiful.

And then let's come down into the shoulders.

Feeling the shoulders soften as the sound penetrates,

Soaks in.

From the spine in the neck,

Coming down to the spine between the shoulder blades.

Feel the sound vent penetrate there.

Feel the scapula,

Underneath the collarbones.

If this music could just penetrate the whole shoulder area,

Joints.

Feel the sound come in.

The sound really bathe you,

Feeling it soak into your bones,

Into the elbows.

Can you feel the sound vibrating in the bones of your wrist?

Into the hands,

Feeling the hands vibrate,

Feeling the nails and the nail beds,

The prints between your fingers.

Those hands are vibrating.

Let's come on up to this heart area,

This chest area,

Feeling the music right through the spine in the back of the heart.

Softening and opening the whole spine there.

If energy wants to be released in your body,

It's okay to move,

Stretch a bit.

Gassing,

Breathing through the mouth.

As we bring awareness into the body,

The body feels safe.

It exhales,

It relaxes and feels safe.

We just let that energy release.

Sound come into the sternum.

A lot of shielding here.

Breastplates.

If you could just let the sound penetrate,

Soften that whole breastplate of yours.

The heart itself,

Underneath the sternum.

Into the rib cage now.

The sides,

The back and the front,

In between the ribs.

All these beautiful tissues there.

Connective tissue where so much is stored.

Tissue be soaked with sound.

Let the sound just into the cells,

Into the tissues.

It caress you deep inside.

Move into that beautiful solar plexus.

Many of us hold on tight here.

What if we could just let it ungrip a little bit today?

Letting the sound penetrate.

Let it soak all the way in.

It can be quite compacted deep inside the solar plexus.

It's okay.

It still can be penetrated.

It still can be soaked.

Might take a little longer for that sponge to open,

But it will open.

Before you soak it in water,

Water of awareness.

Feel that music just vibrating through it,

Loving you.

Letting awareness,

Which is our true nature,

Love us.

Letting everything love us.

I know it doesn't feel safe,

But I can tell you it is safe.

There's our warm flower of your solar plexus.

Start to open.

Feel it soaked in the front and the sides.

And breathing out.

Or even wriggling in your chair if you feel to.

Now we've got these beautiful organs up in the solar plexus area.

Let's go to these lower areas.

So the belly button.

Starting to feel into the belly button.

If you can feel deep behind that belly button.

All through the pelvic area now.

Below the belly button.

Intestinal area.

Starting to really let awareness permeate.

Can the sound touch all the way into the depths there?

Beautiful.

Let's really let the hips join in now.

The top of the hips.

All this begins.

Letting the sound really soak through here.

From the mid-back into the lower back.

Feel the sound all through the spine.

Each vertebrae.

Let it soak all the way through.

The front,

The middle,

Back and the sides.

Putting awareness there.

That's all.

That's enough.

Mises things.

You don't have to do anything.

No trying.

No efforting.

It's a natural process.

A hundred percent natural.

Your awareness.

You want to be in touch with this body.

It's yours.

Your beloved.

What is it to feel into the pelvis?

Coming down into the hip joints.

Into the sit bones.

Feel the chair.

Feel the warmth of the chair.

Feel the skin.

And the flesh.

Getting soaked by sound.

Soaked by awareness.

All through the front of the pelvis.

The pubic bone.

Coming all the way down now to the very bottom of the pelvis.

The sound coming to your sexual organs.

Front,

The back.

Very very bottom.

The sound reverberate through your tailbone now.

Let everything vibrate.

Let everything open.

Through the tailbone.

Opening that root.

We have energetic tree roots shooting out of our tailbone.

They're there.

You are a hundred percent connected to all that is.

These roots come from inside the pelvis now.

Coming in to the upper legs.

To the flesh and bone of the thighs.

The inner thighs.

The outer thighs.

And the bones.

See if you can feel the sound in your bones.

It's subtle but it's there.

Let yourself get massaged.

It's so meant to just relax you.

That's all this is.

Lean back.

Let yourself be massaged by your own awareness and sound.

Into the knees now.

All through the tissues of the knees.

Come down into the lower legs.

The bones of the lower legs.

The calf muscles and the shins.

The tendons.

The connective tissues.

Maybe you can feel them.

Feel your ankles.

Let them be loved by this music.

Massaged.

Come into the feet.

The bones of the feet.

The connective tissue of the bones.

The nails and the nail beds.

Between the toes.

The bottoms of the feet.

The arches of the feet.

Along the sides of the feet.

Oh,

These amazing feet.

Really stay here.

Feel the feet.

Feel the full quality of the feet.

Feel grounded to be in your feet.

Let awareness really come in and we can feel through the bottoms of the feet.

There are so many roots coming off those feet.

The more we put awareness there,

The more rooted we feel.

Good.

Now see if you can feel your whole body like a rooted tree in bloom.

Blooming through the top of the head,

Through the arms and hands,

Through the back of the head,

Front of the heart.

Blooming.

Down through the trunk,

Down through the hips,

Down into the ground rooted of the body.

Blooming.

Let the whole body radiate and bloom.

It is already.

You're just feeling it now.

The body keep opening.

This sound.

Let it come all the way in.

Let it be a coronation.

Let yourself soften and open.

Savor the feeling of being massaged like this.

Let it be so yummy.

Feel the sound through the whole body.

Let it be a coronation.
