And that awareness is that which sees,
That which is noticing thought and sensation.
It's that background awareness that's been there all your life.
It has no name and we can rest there.
We can rest as that awareness.
We can sink all the way back into this vast awareness and looking around as the awareness we can notice it's already vast and quiet.
It's already soft and accepting.
It wants,
It says yes to everything it sees.
Awareness is nonpartisan.
And even more than that,
This vast awareness,
This one awareness that we are especially wants this body.
It has a kind of affinity for the body that's here.
Though we might have heard different stories about the sensations here,
The experiences.
Awareness doesn't know anything about those stories and it would just like to feel this breath.
So let's just let awareness come into the chest and feel the breathing body exactly as it is.
No doing anything required.
So let's feel the chest expand and contract all on its own,
Relaxing into it,
Absorbing awareness.
Just any awareness coming into the chest,
Into the lungs,
Into the ribcage.
Awareness of the skin,
Awareness of the muscles in the chest.
That starts a process of the body feeling safer,
Feeling held,
Attended to.
Then we can let that awareness start to come into the spine in the back of the chest.
Feeling into that area,
Feeling into the different vertebrae.
Letting the sound of the music also vibrate inside that vertebrae.
Awareness aware of the feeling of the vertebrae,
Feeling of the spine.
Let's come down the spine,
Aware of the vibration in the back of the chest and then coming down into the spine behind the solar plexus.
Letting the sound massage the spine.
Awareness and sound together.
Just attending,
Just bringing awareness right there inside the vertebrae,
Inside the spinal cord and then coming down into the mid-back.
It's a very tender and gentle massage with no agenda,
No making something happen,
No effort,
No mind.
It's okay if the mind is chatty.
Come back to awareness and back to the sensation in the lower back vertebrae now.
Letting the sound massage you,
Savoring the feeling between the vertebrae and then down into the tailbone.
There's a vibration through the tailbone as well.
And that vibration goes down and through the tailbone into the earth.
Our energy body,
Our energy being in this big cord of energies like guitar strings and we can feel that music vibrating and massaging down into the ground here.
It's subtle.
Are you just letting yourself be touched?
Letting the body open enough just a little bit to receive sound,
Receive the touch of awareness.
Great and then let's come back up into the pelvic area,
Feeling into the pelvis,
Feeling the hips and letting that sound soften the hips.
Massage the hips and let them just be released.
We often hold a lot of tension there.
What would it be to just let your whole hip area,
Your whole pelvic area just soften and billow out to not hold ourselves,
To let the body be,
Just be.
And that sound can massage all through the pelvis,
Every band of muscle all through the skin,
The bones and deep inside the middle of the pelvis.
We are made of energy and vibration.
And that can be sensed.
Awareness can be aware of this vibrating pelvis with no thought about it,
Just allowing it to be and allowing it to be massaged.
We give no meaning to it,
We just let it be.
And that acceptance,
That sweet touch is a healing.
This awareness can pour through the pelvis as well,
Just letting awareness wander into the pelvis and through it,
Noticing this vibrating body extends beyond the skin,
Letting the sound show us that permeability,
Letting our belly soften a little more,
Sinking into the chair a little more.
And then letting that sound start to massage the inside of the upper thighs,
The inner thigh,
The bones,
The muscles,
The skin.
Massaged by sound,
Massaged by awareness,
Allowed to just be,
To relax and let the body dissolve.
Let the knees dissolve as awareness comes in,
Sound comes in,
The lower legs dissolving,
Massaged,
Caressed by awareness and sound.
Nothing you need to do,
No controller at the wheel here,
Just allowing our being to be.
The mind doesn't like it,
But the body sure does,
Our being sure does.
And just for now,
We're not attending to the mind,
We're staying with sensation all the way down into the ankles now,
Letting those dissolve as sound and awareness bathes,
Caresses and softens the whole ankle deep inside the bones and down into the feet.
What would it be for the foot to relax more than it ever has,
Both feet,
Down into every toe,
Every nail,
The pads,
The arches,
The heels.
There's an energy coming off the bottoms of the feet,
The tops of the feet.
Be aware of how rich that energy is,
How far it goes,
How we're emitting energetic pulse without doing anything.
We just are that.
And it is the healing to just simply be aware,
To be aware of our energy body,
To be aware of the sensation of our being.
The being feels held and loved,
Allowed to simply be.
And the mind can't do it,
This can't be an effort.
It's way,
Way,
Way easier than that.
Nothing more than the awareness of what's already here.
And as ever,
Just exhaling as it comes naturally,
The depressurizing effect of bringing awareness into the body.
Let's be aware of the belly now.
The belly and up into the solar plexus,
This whole area where we hold pretty tight.
For now,
Let's just receive.
Just receive awareness into the solar plexus and into the belly and receive sound.
Maybe the mind gets really busy here.
Maybe there's a lot of layers of tension.
To give it no thought,
But to just let it be touched just a little bit.
Let that sound soak in.
No effort.
No concentration,
No awareness.
And any exhaling,
Some layers of tension.
Just let it go out the mouth.
What would it be to let that sound just be absorbed on the left side and the right?
All the way deep in the core there.
You're on this expansive massage table,
360 degrees around.
And all this beautiful vibration,
Sound,
And this soft,
Sweet awareness wants to just come and kiss you right where it hurts.
Beautiful.
Let's come back up into the chest again.
And same thing,
You might notice walls and aches and knots.
And they are allowed to be here.
And they are also able to be touched by this soft touch of sound.
By your own soft,
Loving awareness.
The mind can't be involved,
But awareness can come right in.
Maybe especially on that one knot.
Maybe inside near the heart of the lungs,
One of the ribs.
Letting those notes,
That vibration,
Go right in and just loosen that knot.
With no doing,
No mind,
Just letting ourselves be touched.
It is safe.
It is so safe to be this body,
To be this chest,
To inhabit our body.
Every little corner,
Right in that corner that's been a bit numb,
Achy.
And then let's just feel that sound and let awareness come all the way into the whole chest.
Filling it so that the whole chest is vibrating and can be felt.
And then feeling up into the collarbones.
Letting sound vibrate inside the collarbones themselves and the tissues and the muscles on top of the shoulders.
And wrapping around into the shoulder joints.
Notice how awareness and sound can go right into the shoulder joint itself.
And it opens,
It opens that energetic flow.
So naturally,
Awareness is such a healing.
Sound coming and helping right along to point out sensation to help us heal.
Coming into those arms,
Those gorgeous arms,
All the skin layers.
And then deep inside the bones,
Let yourself be touched by your own awareness and by this vibration.
Massaging down into the elbows,
The lower arms,
Inside the wrists,
Inside the hands.
Every fingertip felt awareness in the palms,
The vibrating palms and the thumbs.
The energetic field around the hands that is continuous with the energetic field within.
Awareness can be aware of this continuity,
No separation.
And let's feel into the neck now.
Awareness aware of each vertebrae in the neck,
No mind,
But to just feel it.
Feel the vibration,
The energy,
The rich quality of the neck.
The throat,
Adam's apple,
The muscles,
The skin.
Letting it soften and soften and soften.
And just to let ourselves be,
Let ourselves be massaged and loved.
Nothing the mind can do.
Beautiful.
Letting that neck soften and soften those vertebrae open.
And feeling this sound vibration come all the way up to the brainstem.
Just let it all vibrate there.
Let that brainstem and the back of the head open.
The fibers of the eyes go all the way back to the back of the head.
You can really relax our eyes when we're back there.
Let that sound vibration fill the back of the head and the back of the neck.
You might notice how other areas of the body relax,
How it's all connected.
One area opening a little opens another.
Any awareness inside the body is a gift,
Is a help.
You're doing great.
Just bring awareness now all the way to the top of the head,
Following from the back to the back top of the head.
Letting sound vibrate through,
Open the ground chakra,
Open the very top.
And those sounds can just pour through,
Coming into the skull and then into the brain itself.
Awareness saturated by sound into the middle of the head.
Between the ears and deep behind the eyes,
Coming down from the top.
Just let that all vibrate.
Nothing to do but savor our own being,
All the qualities,
All the rich sensation.
And it's okay,
It's okay if mind is distracting.
There's always sensation to come back to and we can notice from awareness,
It's just sensation.
Just a sensation,
Maybe painful.
But what would it be to still let it be touched by sound,
By awareness,
Coming forward into the forehead and the forebrain,
Feeling through the temples and the bones of the forehead,
Flesh of the forehead,
Inside the eye sockets,
Inside the eyeballs,
Letting it all be massaged,
Bridge of the nose,
Between the eyes,
Back behind the eyes,
And then coming down inside the cheeks and the cheekbones.
And we can come into the roof of the mouth and the lips and the teeth,
The tip of the nose,
Letting all this sound vibrate through the face with no effort,
Letting the face soften and soften.
Let that sound vibrate and soften the back of the throat,
The muscles of the jaw,
The joint of the jaw,
The flesh under the chin,
The lower teeth and tongue,
Those ears deep inside the head,
And that vibration of sound all the way to the tips of the ears outside the head.
And then noticing from the tips of the ears,
We don't know where it begins and ends.
Feeling into the whole head now and the whole neck,
Awareness aware of the fullness of the sensation there,
And aware that there's a permeability,
An openness,
The sound moves in and through.
Same with the rest of the body,
Let's feel from the torso,
The whole torso,
Including the arms,
All the organs,
The chest and the belly,
The pelvis,
And then all the way down the legs.
This is all one thing,
All vibrating at once,
Including the head and neck now,
The whole body.
And maybe we can sense where there's little pockets of density or pain,
Tension.
How about we just let awareness and music vibrate out a little bit more,
Soften those spots a little bit more.
Let yourself be massaged,
Just receiving it.
The whole body vibrating and notice through the skin,
The whole area outside the body vibrating,
Alive.
We can sense beyond the body into the energy body,
Energy body at the top of the head,
Beyond the top of the head,
Beyond the bottoms of the feet,
In the front of you,
And then all the way in the back of you as well.
See if you can bring awareness to a foot behind you,
A foot in the middle of the neck,
A foot in the back of the neck,
A foot in the back of the neck,
See if you can bring awareness to a foot behind you,
All the way through the body,
And all the way a foot behind you,
Behind your chest,
Behind your legs.
No effort,
But letting awareness wander into this larger body,
This larger being.
All this vibration is inside of a spaciousness.
So being aware of the spaciousness,
The space itself,
Notice how that is inside the body and inside the room and inside the ground and endlessly in front and in back of you and above you.
There's no stopping point.
There's no cutoff.
Being aware of how of sound,
Of the feeling of sound,
Sound itself.
It moves through that spacious presence.
It's part of it.
It is it.
And that sound drops into the deepest field here,
This silence,
Silence,
The silence that is absolutely everywhere,
Endless silence.
It's also in your body.
It is a sweet nothing,
A sweet silence that soothes everything.
So let's let that silence absorb into our whole body.
Let our awareness be aware of nothing but that,
Of that silent nothing that we are completely a part of,
Completely made of.
We are that silence,
That endless silence,
And we can let our whole being fall into it,
Dissolve into it.
So so this silence is absolutely everywhere.
Already you're already so totally soaked in it.
And that spot in the body that feels a little dense or cut off can be shown the silence.
Silence can come in there.
It's right there.
It's right here,
Here,
Ready to come in like warm water and soak that spot.
It feels a little dry.
So we're just letting that process happen,
Being aware of this vast,
Deep,
Quiet,
Letting it have us.
So so so so just letting our being more and more dissolve into the silence.
Let ourself be just aware of the silence,
That's all.
So so so so so the more aware of the silence we are,
The more it takes care.
It's already taking care,
But it'll just keep coming in and resourcing and resourcing.
Just like this warm air,
Warm water,
Soothing and replenishing and refreshing,
The more we dive into it.
Let silence be where we play,
Where all our awareness goes,
And savor the feeling of it,
Refreshing our being.
So so so Maybe you can notice this vast quiet is your being.
It is your body,
Your original face,
As they say.
You are all that vast silence.
So so so so so so so staying deeply submerged and dissolved in that silence,
Aware of the vastness more of the endless silence here.
And inside that silence is still our body and we can hear what the body might like,
Maybe a stretch or drink.
Drink.
We can take all the time we need to open our eyes.
With that vast field doesn't go anywhere.
Maybe when you open your eyes,
Just tune into it one more time.
Endless quiet right there.
And you can be aware of it throughout the day,
Throughout the week.
It's not going to go anywhere.
Still who you are.
