Transcript

I invite you to close your eyes,

You certainly don't need to,

But just pose your awareness kind of inward,

And in our meditations we utilize awareness.

So awareness is that which is looking out of your eyes and that which is hearing my voice.

It's the background awareness that notices thought,

That notices everything.

It's the witnessing behind all thought,

Behind all sensation.

So let's just in this moment be aware of awareness itself.

Just notice there is this awareness,

It's not thought,

It's that which sees thought.

This awareness,

Which as you become more aware of it is also,

You can notice it's spacious,

It's silent,

It's totally effortless,

It requires no doing,

It just is.

This awareness,

This witnessing,

Was there when you opened your eyes on planet earth and it was there before you opened your eyes on planet earth.

So it's this effortless,

Peaceful,

Silent,

Restful,

Vast witnessing that you don't need to do anything for,

It's just that which is looking.

So we're just going to rest as this awareness.

Often our awareness is on thought.

It's on our story of ourselves and where we're going or where we went to.

It's a story of a separate self that most of our awareness goes to,

But there's so much more here.

We are simply bringing awareness to all that's here,

All that's here in a moment,

In this moment.

And our portal to the moment is this body,

This avatar.

So we're going to bring awareness to simply feel the body.

Let's start today with your feet on the ground.

It's okay if they're tucked under a blanket on the couch or snuggled up in bed,

All is welcome.

There's no right way to do this,

Though being upright can help the energetic flow,

But we're just bringing awareness to our feet,

Feeling our feet.

Feel how the feet are tingling with energy.

It's not something you can concentrate on,

It's not something you can know anything about.

In this moment,

Just for now,

We're not going to know anything,

We're going to feel everything fresh.

So simply feel the sensations in your feet.

Maybe you can feel that tingling,

Maybe there's soreness.

Pain in the body is an invitation to come closer.

It's the body asking for attention,

Asking for this awareness.

So fear no pain.

Just for now,

What is it to bring the awareness even closer?

So let's really feel every little interior space of the feet,

Between the toes and inside those arches and between the fine bones on the top of the feet,

The sides of the feet and the heels of the feet.

Feel that you're really landing in your feet.

Maybe that your feet are a few sizes bigger,

Because your energetic feet are quite big.

You might feel the buzz of the energy of your feet down into the ground or floating above the skin.

The real you is beyond the skin.

It includes the body,

It includes every fine bone of your feet.

But if you allow yourself,

Let awareness follow that energy of the feet beyond the skin,

Then you can feel the sensations of the feet through the music as well.

Sound vibrates through our skin,

Because we're more energy than form.

Sound vibrates through space,

We are more space than form.

Just for now,

Feel the energy in your feet and then feel the spaciousness of your feet.

Let the music open them a little bit more.

Let them float.

Great.

Let's feel into your ankles,

Your lower legs,

Let the music massage into the bones.

Awareness can go right into the depth of the muscles,

The threads of the tissues,

The inside of the bones.

Can you feel the spaciousness inside the bones?

Losing all concentration,

Just feel what's there.

Feel how your bones are actually hollow,

Your legs,

Your lower legs,

Light,

Light,

Light.

Let's feel the knees,

The kneecaps,

Feel the sounds permeating into the joints of the knees,

Softening them,

Massaging them.

The body allowing itself to be touched by awareness,

Touched by sound,

Is naturally healing.

It's awareness,

It's attention without agenda,

Just the presence of you,

The awareness showing up inside this body is healing.

If the mind is chatty at any point,

If there's distraction,

I promise you're on a juicy spot in the body and you just gently return that awareness now coming up into the thighs.

Let all this soft sound soak into the bones,

Soak into the flesh.

Let your whole legs just be,

No management,

No doing,

No holding.

The legs can just be the legs,

The body operates itself.

We have a story that it's operated by us,

The truth is it's not,

So we're just letting what's already the case be the case.

Let the body operate the body,

Let life operate it,

It already is.

So right now we're handing our legs over,

Just letting the legs totally relax and soften.

Let those bones hollow out,

Upper muscles in the tops of your thighs,

Those big muscles just melt with the sounds.

Beautiful,

Great.

Then up through the inner thigh,

Feeling through the outer thigh,

The underside of your thighs.

Let that vibration of sound come all the way up into the pelvis,

Softening the hips,

Softening the hip joints,

Melting those sit bones,

Vibrating through the tailbone because you let these sounds just wash through your pelvis,

Letting everything soften and open,

No holding the pelvis.

It's incredibly safe to let your body just be,

To let the pelvis all through the lower back,

The lower part of the pelvis,

Those lower vertebrae and down into the tailbone.

Let them just melt and unfold.

Feel deep inside the pelvis,

The very center,

Feel the vibration of sound penetrating the whole pelvis,

Awareness into the body,

Giving yourself this level,

This depth of attention,

Feeling into your pelvis like this,

The pelvis blossoms,

The body unfolds,

It blooms,

Your whole pelvis like a soft flower,

Blooming on every side.

No strength is lost,

No functionality is lost.

In fact,

Only more is gained by letting the body just be.

Let's feel through the front of the pelvis,

Letting everything soften from the front,

Come up into our intestines and our lower belly,

Right below the belly button.

Let all these gorgeous sounds massage through there.

Feel all the organs,

The whole belly bathed in sound.

What if you let your whole belly soften and soften and soften,

No holding on,

No management,

To let the body just fall open,

Feel up above the belly button now,

Soothing sounds washing through the lower part of the solar plexus,

The upper stomach,

A lot of knots and pain for most of us here.

It's safe,

It's safe to be touched by awareness and touched by sound.

Many of us touch doesn't feel safe.

It's safe,

It's safe to feel your own being.

It's safe to visit and inhabit these interior spaces.

What is it to feel deep inside your solar plexus,

Right under the rib cage now?

Maybe there's nausea,

Maybe there's a feeling of disgust.

Long ago,

Lots of nose in your system,

Lots of ugh.

It's welcome,

That feeling.

What is it to let awareness go all the way into the depths of that,

Maybe pit in your stomach,

No agenda,

Nothing to do,

But just to finally allow that feeling to be seen,

To be gently touched by this silent awareness,

To be gently touched by sound,

Witnessing our whole body,

All the sensations welcome,

Committed to witnessing our being,

Witnessing what's here,

Being with ourselves with no agenda other than to be with,

To be in touch.

Feel all now through the bottom of the rib cage,

Back of the solar plexus,

Deep inside the wells of the solar plexus.

Let all this sound just vibrate you.

Soften and soothe those achy bits,

Maybe on your right side,

Maybe on the left,

Maybe inside your spine.

Give those achy bits,

Those nauseous bits,

Extra awareness,

A kiss from sound,

From awareness itself.

If the body feels like moving or if you want to breathe out through your mouth,

Even if you have little twitches and things,

It's very welcome.

That's just energy,

Blocked energy leaving.

Needs an exit strategy.

Just let it come out the mouth or give yourself little wriggle movements.

It's fine.

Good.

Let's let that sound soak into the ribs now,

The ribs in the back of your chest,

The sides,

The front,

The sternum,

Letting sound penetrate below the sternum,

Feeling into your lungs,

Feeling inside the heart itself.

No agenda,

Just the soft,

Effortless awareness already looking out of your eyes,

Already hearing my voice landing inside your chest,

Feeling inside the chest.

You can feel the whole chest vibrate and hum,

Just staying as that awareness and feeling through the body.

Feel the sound humming through the joints,

Through your shoulder joints,

Through the shoulder blades,

Underneath the shoulder blades,

Traveling along the collarbone,

Feeling through the tissues,

The connective tissue,

All through the shoulders.

Maybe you can feel the sounds traveling through,

Vibrating through the tops of your shoulders,

Inside the shoulder caps,

And then down into those upper arms,

Just letting the whole body relax so much,

Not holding yourself,

Savoring yourself.

There's no sensation that's a problem,

Not one.

Feel the arms vibrating,

Feel the elbows and the crease of the elbows,

Feel the sound tickle through the lower arms.

Open those tissues up,

Feel the bones be strummed,

Your whole arms like guitar strings,

Your wrists,

Your hands.

We are vibrating beings.

We are space and energy,

And you,

This awareness,

Can sense that,

Can feel the vibration of your hands,

Pulse between your fingers and your fingertips.

You can feel the spaciousness inside your arms.

You can feel your arms,

Your chest,

The back and front of your chest,

Shoulders,

The collarbones.

Feel how your whole torso is vibrating and spacious.

Just awareness,

Aware of the sensation that's already here.

No concentration,

Drop all effort.

All is already here.

There's nowhere to go.

There's nothing to find.

The body is vibrating.

Beautiful.

Feeling the whole torso now,

And any pocket of tension,

Just let the music soften it,

Let awareness open it.

Let your whole body just vibrate as it already is,

Savoring the vibration.

The whole torso,

Your arms,

Hands,

Pelvis,

Legs,

A light vibration,

And so much soft spaciousness permeating in between the notes.

All that sound rides on air,

Rides on spaciousness.

Feel the whole body floating.

Great.

And let's feel through the neck now,

The base of the neck,

The throat,

Strings of cords of tissues inside the spinal cord,

Inside the neck.

See if you can feel all this gorgeous sound soaking into your spinal cord in the neck.

Just savoring that,

Savoring the feeling of sound vibrating through your spinal cord,

Letting that spinal cord just open and open.

You're not doing a thing.

It happens all on its own.

Effort dropped away.

You're receiving sound,

Receiving awareness,

Not going out to it,

Not striving for anything.

Feel all this sound just vibrating through your whole neck now,

The neck also blossoming like a flower.

Beautiful.

And under the chin,

Feel through there,

Feel through the jaw,

Breathing out any tension.

See if you can feel this music going inside the bones of the jaw,

Inside your teeth,

Inside the upper palate of your mouth.

Tongue,

The throat,

Feel your lips just soften as you feel into them.

What if you let all tension in your cheeks,

In your lips,

In your nose,

Inside your eyes,

All tension just melt,

Not holding your face in any way.

Let the eyeballs just be,

Let the eyebrow ridge just be right in between the eyebrows,

That juicy energetic point there.

Just let it be,

Let it be alive with energy.

Let the music soften through your forehead,

Soften deep inside your temples.

Feel behind your face,

Inside the sinuses,

Deep behind the eyes,

And then through the face,

Letting everything soften.

The face can just be the face.

You don't have to position it.

You don't have to organize it or manage it.

Nothing to do.

Good.

Let's feel through your ears.

Let the sounds vibrate your ears,

Deep inside the inner ear,

And then deep inside the middle of the head,

Way behind the eyes,

Between the ears,

Letting the sound penetrate all the way through there.

Great.

Letting the sound penetrate and vibrate through the back of the head and the brainstem area there where the neck and the brain meet.

Sound vibrating through there.

What is it to feel the back of your brain,

To feel the back of your skull,

To feel through the middle of your brain,

Very juicy spot,

The very middle of the brain.

Sound can go there,

Can point it out to you,

And then through the top of the skull,

Top of the brain,

Just feeling it.

No agenda,

Nothing to do.

Feeling the whole brain,

The whole skull at once now,

Through the face,

Through the skull,

Through the jaw,

The ears,

The back of the head,

The neck,

Vibrating,

Softening,

Looming like a flower with no effort,

Passive.

The whole head and neck alive,

Alive with energy,

Softening and softening the more you feel into it.

You feel into it,

And the whole torso and pelvis vibrating softly,

Unfolding with you not doing anything.

Just let the body soften and open and soften and open.

The lower legs,

The pelvis,

The feet,

The ankles melted.

And let's feel together,

What does the body unfold into?

There's a sense of air or space between these notes,

Between the feeling in the body.

There's a feeling of spaciousness,

Of floating,

Of freedom,

The sense of space is also a sense of silence.

The whole body is floating inside of its much bigger body,

Its true body,

Which is pure,

Spacious silence.

So let's let our attention,

Our awareness,

No mind,

Just awareness,

Sense the feeling,

The reality of pure silence,

Pure space.

It's the source material,

It's the,

As Kieran says,

Most dominant thing here.

Every sound drops back into silent space,

Endless silent spaciousness.

You're already floating in,

You're already made up.

You're already floating in,

You're already made up.

Let's let all our awareness sense this endless vastness.

My voice dropping right into it,

Floating here as the silence itself.

Let your whole body dissolve into this alive,

Vibrating silence.

You're already made of this vast quiet.

You're already salt crystals dissolved in water.

You're just feeling it,

Savoring it,

Fully surrendering to this ocean of your true body,

Your true being.

It is safe to dissolve.

It is safe to let yourself be this vastness.

Any thoughts,

Any stories are just floating in this ocean of silence.

They're no problem.

Keep your awareness on the vastness.

It's much more resourcing,

Much juicier,

And you're already surrounded by it,

In it,

Made of it.

Pure,

Soft,

Quiet,

Just letting silence do its thing.

Just letting your whole being rest and float in this vast silence that you are.

Nothing to do.

Taking all the time you need,

You can very,

Very slowly,

In your own time,

Open your eyes.

Or not,

You can keep them closed.

But we're not going to leave this endless silence.

As you open your eyes,

Notice that it's still everywhere.

You're still made of it.

The silent space doesn't go anywhere.

And you don't have to put on a personality or a face or anything.

Just let everything still be.

Just take a moment to gaze at an object,

But don't give it a name.

Just let silent awareness see.

That silent awareness talk,

It's really functional.

Probably,

As you put more awareness in your body,

You might want to stretch or drink water or whatever.

We want to fully indulge what's true.

What's true in the body,

What's true in a moment.
