Peace and abundance.
Welcome to this sacred moment.
I invite you to find a comfortable position,
Seated or lying down,
Allowing your body to be fully supported.
Gently close your eyes.
Take a slow breath in through your nose and release it through your mouth.
Again,
Breathing in slowly through your nose and release it through your mouth.
Allow the noise of the day to soften.
Allow yourself to arrive,
Not into silence,
But into listening.
Bring your awareness to your breath.
Notice this rhythm,
Like waves rising and falling.
Imagine now that you are standing at the edge of a body of water.
It may be a river,
A lake,
The ocean,
Or a sacred spring.
There is no need to decide.
Trust what appears.
This water is ancient.
It has known your ancestors.
It carries stories,
Songs,
Griefs,
Prayers.
In the wisdom of ancestral traditions,
Water is not passive.
It is a living elder,
A keeper of memory.
As you are standing at the edge of this body of water,
Notice the depth of the water before you.
It is dark,
Not empty,
Not frightening,
But rich,
Fertile,
Alive.
This darkness is knowing.
This is undarkened wisdom,
The kind that does not require explanation or permission.
Place your feet into the water.
Feel its temperature,
Its weight,
Its welcome.
Let the water rise slowly around your ankles,
Your calves,
Your knees,
Supporting you,
Holding you.
As you stand in the water,
Sense that you are not alone.
You are surrounded by ancestors,
Guides,
Elders,
Not hovering above,
But within the water itself.
They do not speak in words.
They speak through sensation,
Memory,
Intuition.
Allow yourself to receive without translating.
You do not need to understand,
You only need to feel.
Bring into your awareness something that you are carrying,
A heaviness,
A question,
A fatigue or a grief.
Lower your hands into the water.
Allow the water to receive what you no longer need to hold alone.
Feel this heaviness now being carried,
Not erased,
But transformed.
In ancestral teachings,
Healing is not solitary.
It is communal,
It is relational,
It is shared.
Repeat silently,
My body remembers.
My intuition is a valid source of knowledge.
I trust the wisdom that lives within me.
Feel the water begin to slowly recede,
Leaving you cleansed,
Grounded and intact.
You are not empty,
You are refilled.
Refilled with clarity,
Refilled with ancestral presence,
Refilled with embodied truth.
Carry this knowing with you into your work,
Your rest,
Your leadership and your becoming.
Now begin to notice your breath again.
Wiggle your fingers and toes gently.
When you are ready,
Open your eyes.
Know this,
You can return to the waters anytime,
They remember you.
Thank you for sharing this sacred practice.
Peace and abundance.
