Hello,

Welcome to Serenity Wellness Podcast.

My name is Nicole White and I'm here to help you build your wellness toolbox for mental,

Emotional,

Physical,

And spiritual health.

Welcome to episode 62,

Foundation of Strength.

Thank you to all of you who have continued along this journey with me and welcome to those of you who are just tuning in.

Throughout these episodes we've been exploring our inner self,

Patterns and behaviors that we might find ourselves stuck in.

We've also learned the impact that these areas can have on our health,

Our emotional,

Mental,

But also physical health.

And as we've gathered these wellness tools and expanded our toolbox,

We've also highlighted our strengths,

That perseverance,

Our dedication to becoming the person that we know we are.

In today's episode I want to talk a bit about foundation awareness and building a foundation of strength.

When you're contemplating your foundation,

Open up your awareness of what actually makes up your foundation.

What are your mental,

Emotional,

Physical,

And spiritual patterns?

How about your thoughts?

What patterns might you be looping in?

Thoughts that you might find yourself stuck in?

Those repeated storytellings?

The nature of where your mind goes?

Part of the foundation?

What are your parts of your foundation that you're holding on to in relation to emotion?

Emotional awareness or emotional avoidance?

That readiness to feel and experience,

But also to bring out the tools as needed?

Even the beliefs and values that we hold?

Having a bit of contemplation about the foundational boards that you hold as truth,

Noticing if they are your truth or if you may be stuck in a hypnotic loop.

Since early childhood we've been taught and shown information from certain pathways or categories.

As adults we can begin to open and expand our understanding.

We have an opportunity to gather new information and connect more to the voice of our own soul,

Finding what resonates for us personally.

This is all done with non-judgment and compassion,

Opening opportunity to connect to the vastness of information and the abundance of connection that's available in life.

Generational patterns are another aspect that will create our foundation within any form of energy therapy.

It's been known that we carry past generational imprinting and I've mentioned a bit here and there about epigenetics where science is validating this knowledge.

As a reminder or as a reminder or in case it's your first time listening,

Some of that research is showing how generational imprinting,

It applies to our thoughts,

Our actions,

Behaviors,

Even areas within our inner body workings and that trauma center in the brain.

And these generational imprints can go back as far as 14 generations.

It's really important to respect your lineage if you have awareness around it and also know what needs to be let go of or rebuilt.

Not all of us have the opportunity to know our family lineage for various reasons and sometimes if we just give ourselves opportunity to slow down and sit with ourselves,

You might be surprised that awareness still comes to surface.

You can start to kind of understand and just connect and hear with your inner knowledge.

So just know that it's still possible to break even generational patterns if you're not quite cognitively and mentally aware of what they are.

Your body knows,

Your soul knows what they are.

Our early childhood and our young adult years can also have pretty profound impacts on our current foundation.

Even when some of this learning that we gathered was detrimental and we might even be aware that it's detrimental to our long-term wellness.

But we gather this information on how we think,

Process emotions,

How we communicate,

Connect and love.

And during these years or during this time period,

We also design building blocks related to our self-esteem and our future relationship patterns.

Societal messages,

They also play along throughout this whole time period.

What we absorb,

How we digest it and what aspects we choose to water.

The environment we're in and all the layers within that.

That environment includes things like the atmosphere,

Remembering unless you're new to this podcast,

But the various episodes where I've talked about clutter,

Organization and the impact on physical health even with inflammation cycles.

But thought loops,

Just our atmosphere,

The environment around us.

And that environment also includes people.

The people that you're choosing to have closest to you and surround yourself with.

We are absorbers so you know what we surround ourselves with,

It impacts us.

Whether we want to cognitively acknowledge that or not,

It does have an impact on what we're experiencing in life.

So just be mindful of your environment and all that the environment includes.

So the atmosphere,

The people,

The food that you're taking into your body,

Even the forms of art that you connect with.

The area of commercialism,

How much you connect there through your environment,

Over consumerism and the comparison mindset that that breeds.

Even depending upon your belief,

Our past life threads can also activate and be active in this foundation that we're now walking upon or standing on.

So thinking of all these different areas and again,

Well maybe not again,

I don't remember if I said this yet,

But take time to gather this information.

All these different areas that start to build our foundation,

The thoughts,

The emotions,

Our spiritual patterns or beliefs and values that we hold,

Those generational patterns,

Early childhood and young adult gathering of information and how it currently plays out.

And again,

Depending on your belief system,

Even past life imprinting and how it plays out in the now.

Awareness of these areas can create the space to repair the areas that need fixed and to build a foundation of strength.

Throughout all these different layers we gather both strengths and unhealthy threads.

So there's strength within all of those pockets.

Sometimes we just replay the things that maybe aren't connected in that pathway,

But they're there.

With any form of change though it is essential to have a willingness to let go of whatever is no longer working.

We can have awareness and not quite be willing.

Willingness means working through hard and heartfelt emotions.

It means sitting and seeing ourselves.

Otherwise we'll just continue to repeat patterns on a subconscious level.

We might be walking around with years of stuffed emotions or have experienced early childhood pain that was never really processed or engulfed with love.

When this occurs these areas that need love and attention to heal,

When we ignore them or stuff them,

They'll play out.

They just sometimes play out in ways that we don't really see or realize that we're playing out past hurts.

It's often seen in relationship patterns.

We can subconsciously be drawn to unhealthy relationship patterns as that child part of herself will continue to seek validation and love.

When we allow ourselves to be the giver of that unconditional love it can allow healing to take place and move into alignment with connection that's based on trust,

That's based on allowing ourselves to remove the walls that maybe we've had around our heart for a really long time.

And those walls get removed when we sit with ourselves,

When we go back and allow ourselves to offer loving-kindness and healing.

One of the most healing things is to allow ourselves the grace to feel and to work through the pain,

To show those parts of ourselves love and validation.

When we do this it allows for time stamping to start to happen in some of those memories and experiences.

You can think of it like a time stamper,

Like a date and time gets kind of stamped on the memory when it is finally seen and heard and loved and validated.

This then allows,

You know,

Once that stamping happens it allows that painful memory to kind of finally rest and be at ease,

Breaking those subconscious cycles.

Trust me I get all this is easier said than done,

Especially because you're listening through this platform versus,

You know,

Working with me one-on-one.

But as you start slowing down,

Thinking about these things,

There's some tools that will help you.

These tools are related to expanding your strength awareness and a foundational rebuild.

If you've been listening along the way,

You've been already working on a foundational rebuild in tons of different ways,

Especially if you listened from the beginning.

If you're new you might want to go back and start at the beginning,

Every episode has different tools and mental health awareness.

But just know that if you've been through these episodes with me you've already been doing a lot of awareness and foundational building.

But these are some other tools to add in,

One of which is a bit of a repeat.

So a primary tool is to really collect our awareness on the abundance,

I mean abundance,

Of strengths that we have inside us,

Within us,

As part of our being.

Two ways to really help and assist with that,

And again these might be repeats for some of you.

The one is the one-to-one technique,

So that is keeping in mind that we get on a hamster wheel in our mind,

You know,

Or think about it in a different way that resonates for you,

Maybe a hamster wheel or we keep taking the same book of criticism or judgment off the bookshelf and rereading it.

So we want to slow that down or we want to notice that there's a lot of other books there to choose from.

And to do that this one-to-one technique is trying to practice daily mindfulness,

So that's really trying to be present in the now,

Whatever you're doing,

Bringing all five senses into the now,

Which helps with the slowdown and increasing awareness no matter what tool,

Technique you're working on.

Mindful awareness is one of the keys to anything really,

So just being mindfully present.

But in that mindful presence,

In awareness,

When you notice that you have a negative or judgmental thought,

You're going to push pause and slide in a positive or supportive thought.

You might have another negative thought follow right up with it or the same one.

Practice repeat where you're going to pause again,

Slide in another positive.

Initially this might take a little time because you might start to really notice that you're a bit judgy towards yourself,

But this is starting to rework neural network pathways and that auto cycle.

Or if you practice this for three weeks,

You'll start to notice your auto cycle is full of love and positivity.

Those of you who just finished up the February training,

Which you can take at any time,

It's not just in February,

But we worked on dissolving this judgment over a four week process and again the results,

Once you practice it for an extended time,

It reworks the system.

Our judgment doesn't feel so cozy and natural anymore.

It actually feels kind of sandpapery and not so welcome in the whole body.

And you're welcome to pop over to Serenity Wellness Tools if you want to check that out or participate in that training.

Again you can start it at any time.

It's a series of videos that I did for you or for people.

Another area to gather strengths is to build a strength board.

This can be done in a variety of ways.

You can get a poster board or something like that and you would start with one strength.

Say your strength is openness.

You must be open if you're listening to my podcast.

So say your strength is openness.

What other strengths do you have that allow you to be open?

So maybe another one would be you're an active listener if you're open or you have non-judgment if you're open and then if you have non-judgment what else would you have?

What other strengths do you notice?

So you start to pull apart.

Just start with one strength and pull it apart and then every other one that you gather you can also pull apart.

And again you would do this for about three weeks.

Let it simmer and you know start to pop up new strengths that you notice come to surface.

And then at the end of that time you have a beautiful board that is capturing all of your strengths and then you hang that somewhere.

Some of my clients will even put it like under goodness frame piece of art type of thing.

I'm having problems with my words right now.

So you can even do that.

I have mine hung on my fridge because I'm always in my kitchen at some point.

You put it you know where you get ready in the morning whatever but it is this beautiful representation of who you are all the time even if you don't feel as connected to your strengths.

So that would be another way to really gather your strengths and you can write them out in words,

Graffiti letters,

People will cut out words in magazines or pictures or if you're artistic you can draw pictures.

It is really whatever you want it to be.

It's just a collection and representation of who you are in your strength.

So one-to-one technique and strength board keeping mindful awareness that would be one kind of chunk of tool to gather and expand awareness around your strength.

All the abundance of strengths that are within you.

The other tool again you're going to want to allow some time to let these the answers to these questions come to surface.

They don't all have to come flooding at once and this is to ask yourself a series of different questions and allow exploration to find the answers within.

This is about really connecting with what your foundation is and oftentimes when we bring our internal mind into this it can be helpful so through imagery.

You can also draw this if you enjoy drawings you can imagine some of the questions I'm going to be kind of putting out there here or spend some time drawing this out over time.

So you would spend some time in silent contemplation and then over time allow things to pop up to surface in what your foundation looks like.

So what is it made of?

What type of material?

Might be rocks or logs boards or cement and is your foundation deep-rooted?

Is it set in place?

Does it maybe have a bit of flow to it if there's movement underneath?

Or perhaps it's completely mobile and as you start noticing what it's made of what material how it moves or doesn't move take a look a little further and try to see what words or phrases or images are on the structure.

Notice what areas are full of strength and which ones are full of cracks.

Those broken areas that need some repairing.

We learn new things over time.

It's okay to let go of things that no longer serve us and aren't moving us in the direction that we're seeking.

It's not disrespecting our ancestors to remove some of maybe the boards or the rocks that are in that foundational structure that we've gathered new information.

So thinking imagining or maybe drawing out this foundation noticing what it's constructed of and all the strength within it but also the areas that might need some repair.

And then imagine yourself completing these repairs as you give yourself time to imagine the completion the process healing also think about what that would feel like for you how your life might look different.

Maybe what type of stability this would add to your life and well-being.

You can create exactly what you imagine.

Be mindful of awareness versus willingness.

When you notice resistance ask yourself what fears might be blocking your willingness and how to harness support.

How to give yourself love and encouragement towards movement and growth.

And remember to give yourself time to work through these tools.

Allow it some space to unfold and remove any pressure to be and just be.

All the while embracing yourself with unconditional love and compassion.

Thank you for joining me today.

I hope this allowed you some guidance on how to begin to really sit with yourself.

And again if you've been following me through this you already have so many tools that you've gathered so much awareness.

All that you imagine in the foundation you want you can create.

Please take a moment to subscribe and share this with others that you know who might want to expand and explore some wellness.

So many are working through difficult times and the more we work together to spread free wellness tools the more we help the collective.

Stay tuned,

Stay well,

And thank you my friends.

Talk to you soon.
