Good morning,
Friends.
Welcome to this morning mini meditation for letting go.
So as you settle in a comfortable seated position,
We'll take some nice deep breaths,
Filling the lungs on the inhale and exhaling with a sigh.
Inhale,
Exhale,
Inhale,
Exhale.
Continuing these easeful breaths as we take our first moments in our brand new morning.
We'll reflect on letting go,
Letting go of the whispers from yesterday,
Letting go of worries,
Concerns,
The inner voices of criticism and self-doubt.
Each and every time you exhale,
You'll breathe out that which we can let go of.
Let those things fall away from your body.
Let those things fall away from your body.
Let those things fall away from your body.
Each new day will bring challenges and new whispers of worry,
Doubt and criticism.
But each day we can return to our meditation.
Each day we can start our morning letting go,
Cleaning the slate.
Some days it will feel easy to let go,
To shrug off these weights we carry upon our shoulders.
Some days it will be harder.
But know this,
Dearest ones,
Each and every time we practice letting go,
We grow stronger.
We grow more able to let go next time.
So some days it will be easy,
Some days it will be hard.
But we come back each and every day,
Returning to our meditation and letting go of anything we do not need to carry into this brand new day.
As we continue our restful breaths this morning,
Feel free to acknowledge anything that arises for you this morning,
Whether it be fear or nervousness,
Doubt,
Anger,
Frustration.
Allow yourself to reflect on what the day ahead may hold whilst letting go of anything that lingers from yesterday that does not serve you.
Life can be tough,
My dear,
But you are tougher,
You are stronger.
You can overcome and let go.
Carry with you only what you need to support you and bring you strength and comfort in this brand new day.
Allow yourself to let go.
Set the intention to let go.
Celebrate that which you are able to let go of,
But do not worry if you are not able today.
Sometimes we may hold on to something that is simple to let go of,
An argument we've had or a crossword.
We can let that go.
If the journey is longer,
Such as a time of grieving or healing,
Give yourself time.
There is no judgement here in our meditation space.
Simply intention to let go each and every time we need to,
Each and every time the chance is available to us.
So let go and move into this brand new day with lightness,
Brightness and hope.
