Welcome into this powerful meditation to help you to release fears around time and aging.
Perhaps this feeling of running out of time,
Not having enough time or being really conscious of your age and all of the psychological difficulties that can come with that.
We're going to move through a beautiful meditation to introduce so many new affirmations that will change how you see time and how you feel about growing older.
Before we begin i want to invite you to find a comfy position.
You can be sitting,
Laying down or you could even be walking for this meditation if you prefer to soak in these affirmations that way or if you prefer to fall asleep to this you might also want to later check out the extended sleep version where you can absorb these affirmations on a deeper subconscious level.
When you find that comfy position let's first tune in and ground into the body so start by anchoring into the breath and simply take a deep breath in through your nose take your time to do this and when you're ready releasing the breath all the way out through your mouth and again deep breath in through your nose filling up your chest,
Filling up your lungs and releasing everything when you get to the top of the breath releasing everything out of your mouth one more time we're going to take one last deep breath imagine you're gathering up as you breathe in all of this worry you're holding and when you get to the top of the breath you're ready to release this fear release this worry release this on the exhale take your time well done just starting to soften the body so you might like to roll your shoulders back or start to soften your shoulders softening the neck softening your eyes,
Your jaw and allowing your body to feel nice and open to receiving these affirmations instantly as you're breathing and as you're grounding into your body i want to offer you firstly just some reassurance that this is so normal to hold fears around time and aging those fears can show up in all sorts of ways am i doing enough am i where i should be at this age focusing on timelines i should be here at this age comparing to other people feelings of nostalgia about the past feeling as though time is slipping away worrying about getting older and feeling as though your youth has passed you by all these feelings are so normal and can be really distressing and yet there are ways to ease these fears and there's ways to come back to your power i want you to start to see time as not the solid structure we're led to believe it is yes there are weeks and months and years but time is not as solid as we think perhaps recall a moment where you only had five minutes to do something and somehow you got it done in those five minutes perhaps even you double glanced at your watch and couldn't believe that somehow only five minutes had passed it was almost as though time had somehow stood still you might also recall a time where you were so focused and engrossed in something maybe even doing something creative that you looked at the clock and five hours had passed and you had no idea how that happened this is because time is not as solid as we think it can expand and contract and we can learn to play with time the more present we are in our life the more time feels like our own rather than this thing that hovers over us if we feel anxious if we feel fearful and if we're not present always over there instead of embodied in the experience then time will have a way of ruling us time does not have to be like that and i'm going to show you how sit back lay back and soak up these affirmations to start to feel empowered when it comes to time deep breather and soaking up time is on my side there is enough time for everything that truly matters i choose to focus on the positive aspects of time such as growth learning and new experiences time is unfolding perfectly i release the need to control the future and embrace the present experience each breath allows me to let go of the past and focus on what truly matters now my focus is on the present where i have the power to create my reality i trust the flow of time i release the need to predict the future and embrace the present moment with an open mind life unfolds in its own perfect timing uncertainty is part of a life and i choose to embrace it with courage and curiosity i don't need to control time i just need to be present in it i focus on the things that i can give and ultimately live on every age brings its own kind of beauty and wisdom i carry the essence of youth in my curiosity and spirit aging means becoming more fully myself i create meaning with how i live not how long i live my spirit is timeless i can feel young at any age youth is a feeling and i choose to feel alive and open the future is full of magic i haven't discovered yet i trust that amazing things are still ahead of me the best parts of my story may still be waiting to be written each stage of life has its own kind of wonder and i choose to see it life is allowed to be messy things don't need to be complete now i'm held by all my beautiful past experiences and feel them supporting me i am young and wise and everything in between and always can be the parts of my younger years and teenage years that i loved i can still have the social buzz friendships community belonging excitement and optimism they can be part of my everyday at heart and i realize that worry and fear can make you old no matter what your age it can be a choice i channel all the grandfathers and grandmothers who still listen to music and danced well into their older years who carried that spirit throughout their whole life i allow them to guide me i return to what is real not what fear imagines i'm able to live with trust instead of worry peace is within and i nurture it daily i choose love over fear again and again just starting to notice how your body feels after absorbing those affirmations feel the shift perhaps feel the optimism the release of fear those affirmations i truly do believe and they've helped me so much in moments where i have been felt this fear come back to these affirmations over and over again to keep elevating yourself over these common human fears remember that time is not what it seems and you are so much more than that and if your eyes were closed just slowly start to blink them open come back to the space you're in and see if you can carry this optimism into the rest of your day
