You keep trying to wrestle your life into the shape you want it,
Trying to push it,
Mould it,
Rush it,
Fix it,
Force it,
Anything but trust it.
You make endless plans,
You create vision boards and five-year goals and detailed lists of how you want your life to look.
And when it doesn't look like that,
You panic.
You think something's gone wrong,
Or you've done something wrong,
Or gone the wrong way.
But you haven't.
You've just forgotten that your life isn't a project to manage,
It's a partnership.
A partnership between you and the whole entire universe.
The universe isn't deliberately not giving you what you want,
It's choreographing things in a rhythm your mind can't comprehend.
But your soul gets it.
When you try to control everything,
Force everything,
You block the very energy that's trying to guide you to what you want.
You stop the river mid-flow,
Shouting at it to change direction,
Not realising it's already taking you exactly where you need to go.
And all you need to do is learn to trust the flow.
So,
Throughout today,
Watch for the moment you tighten your grip and try to force.
Like when things don't move fast enough,
Or something doesn't go your way,
Or you don't get everything done that you wanted to.
Notice that urge to force,
To push,
To control.
And remember that force prevents the universe from weaving its magic in your life.
And instead,
When you feel like holding on and making things happen,
I want you to stop.
Put a hand on your heart and simply whisper this to yourself.
Maybe the universe knows something I don't.
Because the universe does.
It always does.
Some of your biggest delays are your most divine detours.
Some of your rejections are the most important redirections of your life.
And some of your deepest heartbreaks are the cracks where new light can get in.
The universe isn't punishing you.
It's preparing you perfectly.
And the more you force things to happen,
The more you push yourself out of alignment.
But the more you soften and relax into the flow,
The more life can flow you to exactly where you want to go.
The moment you release your grip,
Something magical happens.
Space opens.
And in that space,
The universe can finally do its work.
So today,
Stop trying to outsmart the universe,
Please.
Stop thinking you know better than the unfolding that's been designed specifically and divinely for your own growth and evolution.
Let life surprise you.
Let the universe show you it's on your side.
You don't have to hold the steering wheel so tightly.
You just have to keep showing up with open hands and enjoy the ride.
