Welcome to this meditation called saying no with grace.
I'm Sarasenna Croce and I'll guide you through this practice today.
This meditation is part of a course called seven days to say no without guilt,
Stop people pleasing,
And focus on what matters.
So if you'd like to continue working on your boundaries,
You'll find this course in my courses tab.
Begin by finding a comfortable seated position and close your eyes if that feels safe.
And then take a deep breath in through your nose,
Feeling your chest and belly expand and exhale slowly through your mouth.
Letting go of any tension or stress.
Take a few more of these deep calming breaths at your own pace.
As you continue to breathe deeply and evenly,
Bring your awareness to the concept of no.
Imagine no as a gentle guardian of your boundaries,
A protector of your space and well-being.
Visualize no as a soft comforting light.
It's not a harsh barrier but a warm welcoming shield that allows you to maintain your balance and focus.
Feel this light embracing you,
Offering you protection and space.
Saying no can actually create more room for your internal yes,
The things that truly resonate with you and the people who uplift you.
Saying no is not a rejection but a realignment,
Guiding you toward what aligns with your deepest values and desires.
Now,
Think about a recent situation where you found it difficult to say no.
Notice any feelings that arise in your body and mind.
Observe these feelings with kindness and compassion,
Acknowledging that they are a natural part of your experience.
Inhale deeply and as you exhale,
Imagine gently releasing any discomfort associated with saying no.
Picture yourself in that situation,
Calmly and clearly expressing your boundaries.
See yourself saying no,
I can't,
With grace and confidence.
And notice how it feels to honor your own needs and values.
And now,
Repeat the following affirmations as you continue to breathe deeply.
Saying no is a form of self-care and respect for my boundaries.
Saying no is a form of self-care and respect for my boundaries.
By honoring my own no,
I create spaciousness for my authentic yes.
My no is a kind and compassionate way to protect my well-being and align with my values.
Allow these affirmations to sink into your heart.
Feel a sense of peace and empowerment as you embrace the power of no.
Know that each time you say no,
You are making a conscious choice to protect and honor your own needs and desires.
Let that sink in.
And now,
Just enjoy this moment of deep rest and relaxation.
In your own personal inner sanctuary.
A place where you go to feel your true self.
Secure.
Grounded.
In a deep sense of peace and inner love for yourself.
And all of life around you.
And now,
Bring your awareness back to your breath.
And just allow your body to breathe for you.
With no effort whatsoever.
And when you're ready,
Gently bring your awareness back to the present moment.
Carrying the sense of balance and self-respect with you as you move through your day.
Thank you for spending this time with me today.
