Welcome to this evening meditation for when you ve had one of those days.
I m Sara Zinacroce coming to you from my home office in Switzerland and I ll be your guide tonight.
If you had one of those annoying days where it probably would have been better if you stayed in bed this morning,
Then hopefully this meditation will help you let go,
Surrender and just find a sense of calm and remind you that tomorrow is another day and tonight is your space to rest and breathe.
Go ahead and find a comfortable position.
You can be seated or lying down.
Just listen to what your body needs and then settle in.
Gently close your eyes if that feels safe and then take a deep breath in and just breathe in the sense of acceptance and release.
And as you exhale,
Let go of the day,
Letting it fall away like leaves in the wind,
Lightening your heart as you breathe out.
And just let your breath find its natural rhythm,
Each inhale filling you with calm and each exhale releasing any tension or annoyance you ve been holding on to.
And now bring your awareness to your body.
Feel the support beneath you,
The ground that s always there,
No matter how chaotic the day may have been.
Picture it as a steady presence,
Anchoring you,
Allowing you to fully surrender.
Also notice any areas of tightness.
Maybe your shoulders feel heavy or your brow is still furrowed from the stress of the day.
Or maybe you need to unclench your jaw.
Breathe deeply into those areas,
Sending them warmth,
Relaxation and understanding.
With each exhale,
Imagine the tension flowing out,
As if you re giving permission for each muscle to soften.
It s okay to let go.
Now visualize the events of your day,
Like small clouds drifting across the sky.
Some might feel heavy or dark,
While others were light and barely there.
Watch them float by,
Knowing they re only passing,
Just like everything else.
Inhale deeply,
Feeling a wave of acceptance for what was.
And as you exhale,
Those clouds move away,
Making space for the calm night sky.
Tomorrow is a new day,
And you don t have to carry today s clouds with you.
As you continue breathing,
Imagine a soft,
Warm light enveloping you,
Like the glow of a lantern on a peaceful evening walk.
This light is your inner sanctuary,
A reminder that no matter what happens,
You have this quiet,
Safe place within you.
Inhale deeply,
Letting this light fill you with calm and surrender.
Exhale,
Releasing any lingering thoughts.
Let go,
Right now.
Surrender.
Tomorrow is a new day,
And you re ready to rest.
Namaste.
Welcome back.
Thank you for joining me in this meditation.
I hope it brought you the sense of calm you needed.
