Welcome to this meditation designed to help you end your day with the calming and reflective energy of the moon.
I'm Sarah Sena Koroche and I'll be your guide today.
I'm recording this on a rainy January day from my home office in Switzerland.
Just like the moon lights up the night sky,
It can also illuminate your mind and soul,
Offering gentle guidance for letting go of what no longer serves you.
So let's begin.
Go ahead and find a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down,
And allow your body to relax fully,
Feeling supported by the surface beneath you.
If it feels safe,
Gently close your eyes,
And now take a deep breath in through your nose,
Filling your lungs completely.
Pause for a moment at the top of the breath,
And as you exhale slowly through your mouth,
Release any tension from your body and mind.
Let's do this again.
Take another deep breath,
Feeling the air enter your lungs,
And hold it for just a moment.
And as you exhale,
Imagine sending any stress,
Worry or heaviness from your day into the night sky,
Letting it dissolve into the vastness of the universe.
And now,
Imagine the soft,
Gentle light of the moon bathing over you.
Mama Moon.
See it casting a peaceful glow across your body,
Bringing you calm and clarity.
Feel its light surrounding you,
And allow it to wash over you like a soft,
Soothing wave.
Feel it bringing stillness to your mind and body.
And as you continue breathing,
Feel yourself becoming lighter and lighter,
As if you were guided by the moon's energy.
Release any lingering thoughts or attachments from the day.
And with each breath,
Feel yourself surrendering to the gentle embrace of the cosmos.
Watch as your worries become smaller and smaller,
Until they are barely visible,
Drifting away into the vastness of the universe.
You are just a tiny human in this magnificent cosmos,
And your problems,
Though real,
Are very small in comparison to the vast,
Infinite energy of the universe.
Breathe deeply,
And allow this sense of perspective to bring you peace and acceptance.
Surrender your thoughts,
Your stress,
And any remnants of your day to the moon's light,
Knowing that she will carry them away,
Far away for you.
And as you continue to breathe deeply,
Repeat the following affirmations silently in your mind.
I am one with the peaceful light of the moon.
I release what no longer serves me,
Trusting in the divine flow.
I surrender to the calm of the cosmos,
Knowing that I'm always supported.
I embrace the serenity of the night and welcome restful sleep.
Feel the power of these words filling your whole being,
Grounding you in the truth that you are not alone.
The universe is vast,
But you are part of it and you are always held in its loving embrace.
As the moonlight continues to shine upon you,
Let yourself relax deeper into the comfort of surrender,
Trusting that tomorrow will bring new opportunities,
New wisdom,
And new strength.
But right now,
The moon is here to help you release,
Renew,
And rest.
Let go now and feel the peace of the night wrap around you like a warm blanket.
