Welcome to this meditation to help you end the day with a peaceful heart.
I'm Seres Nekroce and I'll be your guide today.
I'm recording this on a sunny winter day from my home office in Switzerland.
This is your time to gently let go of emotional tension,
Connect with the warmth within you and settle into tranquility before you rest.
So go ahead and find a comfortable position,
Either sitting or lying down,
With your hands gently resting at your sides or in your lap.
If it feels safe,
You can gently close your eyes,
Or maybe they're closed already.
And now take a deep breath in through your nose,
Filling your lungs fully.
Hold it for a moment.
And now exhale slowly through your mouth,
Releasing any stress or heaviness that's lingering in your chest.
Let's do this again.
Take another deep breath in.
And this time imagine you're breathing in calm and understanding.
Hold it briefly.
And as you exhale,
Let go of any emotional knots or heaviness you've carried throughout the day.
And now just allow your breath to settle into a natural,
Soothing rhythm.
Now bring your attention to your body.
Starting at the top of your head,
We'll slowly scan downward,
Noticing areas of tension.
So start at the top of your head,
And then soften your forehead,
Your brow.
Relax all the tiny muscles around your eyes.
And let your jaw unclench.
Allow your shoulders to drop away from your ears,
And just focus on the gentle rise and fall of your chest with each breath.
Soften your belly.
And notice how your arms and legs rest heavily,
Surrendering to gravity,
Fully supported.
With each exhale,
Feel yourself sinking deeper into ease.
Now focus your attention at the center of your chest,
Where your heart is.
Envision a warm,
Gentle light glowing there,
Soft and steady.
This light represents the love,
Compassion,
And wisdom within you.
As you breathe in,
Feel your light growing bigger and brighter.
And as you breathe out,
Let it radiate throughout your body,
Reaching every corner of your being.
And now reflect on your day,
Both the tender moments and the challenging ones.
Allow them to appear in your mind,
Not as judgments,
But simply as experiences.
Breathe into your heart,
Offering understanding and acceptance.
If there's any emotional tension or heaviness,
Imagine gently lifting it,
And placing it into this warm,
Healing light.
And then watch as it dissolves,
Leaving you lighter and freer.
After the next breath,
As you exhale,
You can silently repeat the following affirmations after me.
My heart is at peace.
I release the emotions I no longer need.
I trust in my capacity for compassion,
Especially towards myself.
I welcome the warmth and calm that come with a peaceful heart.
Feel these words settle into your heart,
Becoming part of your inner truth.
They remind you that you have the power to comfort yourself,
To create calm,
And to end your day filled with understanding and love.
And now imagine drifting into sleep,
Held by this gentle,
Compassionate energy.
And then see yourself waking up tomorrow with a heart that's open,
Kind,
And ready to embrace whatever comes.
So now you can either decide to leave your eyes closed,
Or open them again.
And just carry the sense of a peaceful heart with you into a restful night.
