Begin to deepen your breath.

Welcoming the inhales to fill and expand you.

The exhales to empty you.

Deepening your breath as you welcome in the night.

As your eyes close and you embrace the comfort of darkness.

As your breath is deepening,

Welcome your thoughts to move forward.

Take a moment to acknowledge them.

To see them.

And to slowly begin letting them go.

With each breath,

Grabbing onto a thought.

Exhaling it out.

Until the mind becomes quiet.

Breathing to grab onto these thoughts.

Letting them out.

Welcoming the quiet.

The quieter your mind becomes,

The more aware you are of the sensations of your breath moving through your body.

Feeling your inhales create a wave moving down your spine.

And your exhales feeling that wave rise all the way up to the ground of your head.

Breathing slowly and deeply.

Feeling this warm,

Comforting wave flowing along your spine.

Feeling your breath as you inhale,

Feel this wave move all the way down to the tips of your toes.

Exhaling,

Allowing it to move back up your body to the ground of your head.

Feeling this wave of warm,

Comforting energy flowing all the way,

Feet to ground.

A comforting wave moving through your body.

Moving over your skin.

Feeling this wave moving through your body.

Moving over your skin.

Breathing slowly and deeply.

Breathing all the way down to your toes,

As you exhale let each toe soften.

Breathe and feel the soles of your feet relaxing.

Breathe and feel the tension,

The tightness in your ankles letting go.

Feel your feet fully relaxed.

Breathe and feel the muscles of your calves softening,

Softening down.

Breathe and feel the tension of your knees releasing.

Breathe to your knees,

Let them release.

Breathe and feel the muscles of your thighs completely letting go.

Your legs weighing heavy,

Relaxed.

Breathe and feel the weight of your hips sinking down.

Feel the space between your hip bones softening.

Feel the rise and fall of your belly.

Your ribs sinking down towards your spine.

Your spine melting down.

Feel your chest,

Your shoulders releasing all that they hold.

Feel the waves moving down your arms,

Softening your elbows and your forearms.

Relaxing the tension from your wrists.

Fingertips gently curling in towards your palms,

Palms holding soft,

Calm energy.

Breathe and feel your throat softening.

The tension from your jaw releases.

Your skull resting heavy.

Feel the tension between your eyebrows letting go.

Soften your cheeks,

Soften your lips.

Feel the skin of your entire body softening.

Feel your bones melting.

Your body,

Your mind dissolving.

Feel only the gentle wave of breath.

Release,

Melt down.

Only the gentle wave of your breath remaining.

Only the gentle wave of breath flowing through you.

Welcome the comfort of darkness.

Let go.
