Take a time out and tune in to the elements and astrological energies within yourself.

These meditations will take you on a journey to align with the four elements and 12 zodiac signs naturally expressing themselves every day within each and every one of us.

Let's harness this astrological energy within to live a fuller,

Aligned life.

Let's grow.

Tuning in to the fire sign of Sagittarius.

This is the last of three fire signs.

In this guided meditation,

We will align with the energies of fire,

Sagittarius,

Jupiter,

The archer,

And your inner potential.

To begin,

Just settle in where you are.

Feel your arms rest beside you and your shoulders relax.

The next time you breathe in,

Follow your breath all the way through the nose,

Down the throat,

And into the lungs.

And then when you exhale,

Feel the lungs press all the air back up and out through the nose.

Follow your breath just like this in and through the body,

Creating this interconnected energy and awareness from within.

Sagittarius energy is expansive and can at times cause restlessness in the body.

Before we begin our visualization meditation for Sagittarius,

Let's free up some space through our body and mind with a series of spinal movements aligned with our breath to release and create flow.

To begin,

Sit up tall where you are.

Let your hands just rest gently on your legs,

And every breath you take in through the nose,

You feel your spine lengthen.

Every exhale,

You lean your body over to one side.

Your inhale brings you back to center,

And then your exhale leans you over to the other side.

Every time we come back to center,

We feel that arrangement of the vertebrae and every time we exhale,

We lean,

Creating a beautiful side bend through our spine.

The next time you come back through center,

We'll stay here and prepare for spinal waves.

A spinal wave will start at the base of your spine and wave itself all the way up through to the crown of your head.

The exhale then takes that wave and brings it all the way back down to the base of your spine.

To begin these spinal waves,

Take an inhale and feel yourself lengthen,

Arching the spine,

Lifting your chest,

And maybe tilting the head back.

With your exhale,

Feel your spine round,

Hollowing out the front body and bringing your chin toward the chest.

One more time like this,

Your inhale arches the spine,

Following this wave of the spine,

Arches the spine,

Following this wave of energy upwards,

And then the exhale rounds the spine,

Following the wave of energy downwards.

If you feel like you need a bonus wave,

Go ahead and insert that here now,

And then once you're done,

Return to your center.

Roll out the shoulders a few times,

And then feel the shoulders relax.

Let your hands just rest gently in your lap and feel supported by your seat.

If you feel cold to close down the eyes,

You can do that now.

If closing the eyes isn't in your meditation practice,

Go ahead and look down to the floor,

Eliminating the amount of distraction and light coming into the eyes.

In this moment,

Set an intention for your practice,

Aligned with the energy of your inner potential.

Once you've set your intention,

Take a deep breath into your heart space,

And on the exhale,

Plant your intention like a seed into the garden of your heart.

Come back to focus on your breath as we prepare for a meditation for Sagittarius energy,

The Seekers of the Zodiac.

With your eyes softly closed or looking down to the floor,

I invite you to open yourself up to the possibilities of your potential.

Let's imagine that you could be anywhere in the world.

Take a moment here to see yourself in a place you would love to be in,

A place you would love to travel to near or far.

Let this place come to fruition in your mind's eye,

All the colors setting in,

The background scenery beginning to light up.

Next,

You see yourself booking your transportation to arrive to this destination.

You pack your bag with your essentials and you set out on an adventure.

See yourself traveling to the destination of your dreams.

Have faith that everything you learn,

Explore,

And see will be for your highest and greatest good.

Feel the sensations in your body as you realize your potential,

As you understand what you are capable of achieving and what you have accomplished in order to get to this place in your life.

When you arrive to your destination,

You place your bags down,

You look around,

Take off your shoes,

And stand barefoot on the earth in front of you.

Feel yourself grounding in gratitude for where you currently stand.

You feel yourself take a breath in,

Pulling the new air into your beautiful body.

You feel yourself breathing in the fresh air of your beautiful lungs.

When you take a breath out,

You let go of any negativity or resistance you once had.

Here you arrive.

You have the power and potential within yourself to choose a target in life and go after it.

Just like the archer,

Focus,

Assume the position,

Place the arrow in your bow,

Point,

Breathe,

Draw,

Aim,

And release.

Connect with your inner fire to bravely lead a life lived to its fullest.

Before we leave this vision,

Take another moment to bring it all in.

Look around you,

See the colors,

Hear the sounds.

Look clearly at your target as you've assumed the position to aim and release,

Moving on the trajectory of your highest and greatest potential.

When you are ready to leave,

Say,

I will see you soon.

And then return to your breath.

Let your breath inspire movement in your fingers and toes.

As this meditation comes to a close,

Take in full breaths,

Sipping in all the oxygen you can into your lungs,

Holding your breath at the top,

Taking in one more sip of air,

And then exhaling out of the mouth all of the toxins,

Negative energy,

And stress in your life.

Let it go.

Feel your body,

Mind,

And spirit in this moment.

Wake up,

Open the eyes,

Look around you,

And arrive into the present moment.

Let's take one more breath together to seal this practice.

Inhale,

Exhale,

Smile.
