Hello and welcome to your distance Reiki and guided meditation here on the Insight Timer app.

My name is Samantha and I will be your guide.

In these next few moments,

Allow yourself to settle in,

Connect with your breath,

And acknowledge where you are in this moment in time.

Scan your body from head to toe,

Acknowledging,

Recognizing,

And becoming present with what currently is physically,

Mentally,

Emotionally,

Spiritually,

And energetically.

Check in with the quality of your breath.

Is it short and shallow,

Long and deep,

Balanced and harmonious?

Once you understand your breath,

You can begin to understand your emotional and physical self a little bit deeper.

As our breath is often a reflection of our inner landscape.

With this awareness of your inner landscape,

Let's begin to settle now to receive distance Reiki through our guided meditation.

Set an intention to be something where you wish to seek resolve.

The moment we cease to seek is the moment that clarity comes.

We need that resolve,

That intention to guide our energy in the appropriate direction.

Because sometimes life sweeps us away.

Invite yourself to tune in now and take three breaths into your intention once it surfaces.

We will begin to go through a body scan now.

Let's begin our body scan at the crown of the head.

Bring all of your attention to the crown of the head.

Through to the forehead.

Over the ears to the back of the skull.

Down to the occiput.

Around the ears,

Relaxing all of the muscles around the ear.

And into the eyes.

Resting them deep within the socket.

Trace a line through your sinuses and out the nose.

Allow the muscles in the cheeks to relax.

Allow your jaw to relax.

Let there be space between the biting surfaces of your teeth.

Feel the tension in the back of your neck dissolve as you relax the neck.

Down to the shoulders.

Across the chest and the upper back.

Feel the space from your collarbones to the crown of your head.

Relax.

Take three breaths here.

From our collarbones down to the waistline including both of your arms and your hands.

Imagine this area of the body.

Notice how your hands feel.

Is there a weight,

A heat,

A lightness?

In the palm of your hand and your fingertips.

How do the palms of your hands feel?

How does each fingertip feel?

Allow both of your hands to relax.

Relax your shoulders,

Your upper arms,

Your elbows,

Your forearms,

And your wrists.

So now both of your arms and both of your hands are relaxed.

Now feel your upper back.

And feel your chest.

And feel both of these spaces simultaneously.

And acknowledge that this is the home of your heart and lungs.

This is where we hold grief,

Worry,

Sadness,

Heartache,

Heartbreak,

Love,

Deep passionate love for oneself and others.

Take a breath into your heart space.

As you breathe in,

Feel your lungs expand.

Filling up your chest.

The sides of your body pushing into the back of your body.

And then notice that with this breath your heart is being reassigned.

As you release the breath,

You feel the chest lower,

The shoulders relax.

And the breath leave your body.

Notice your breath here in your chest.

And then maintaining this awareness of your chest and your upper back,

Bring your attention down to your lower ribs,

Waistline,

Above the navel,

Front,

Back,

And side body.

Our liver,

Kidneys,

Spleen,

Digestive organs,

Stomach reside in this space.

Our willpower resides in this space.

Bring all of your awareness and attention to this area of your body now.

And now bring your awareness to everything from your waistline down to your fingertips,

Front,

Back,

And side bodies.

Send this area of your love now.

Shift your awareness from your waistline to the bottom of your bum cheeks.

Encompassing our entire pelvic bowl,

Our hips,

And our reproductive organs and elimination system.

Healing this area of the body,

Bringing flexibility,

Mobility.

We become like its element of water.

We find flow and freedom in the lower back and in the hips.

Bring all of your awareness and attention to your hips now,

The left and the right.

Send your hips love.

Our creativity resides in this space.

Along with any emotions we choose not to deal with in this moment.

Energy we suppress in the body moves to this area and we hold it like energetic weight.

Feel this weight melting away from your hips.

Let it go.

When we are like water,

We are flexible,

Fluid,

And strong.

Embody this energy here now.

Now bringing your awareness to both of your legs.

As you breathe into both of your legs here,

You are to imagine a color.

What color is it?

To feel your upper leg bones relax.

And feel your lower legs relax.

Send gratitude to your legs for their support.

Feel here the synergy of your spiritual and material worlds.

Allow the path that you walk to be inspired and infused by both.

The yin and the yang.

And now bring your attention to both of your feet.

The left and the right.

Feel all of your toes.

And allow both of your feet to relax here.

Feel the muscles in each foot relax.

The bottoms of our feet are the window to the entire body.

Feel all of the muscles in the foot relax here.

Notice if there are any areas that perhaps ping.

Or invite a sensation,

A visceral feeling to the body.

And now keeping your whole physical body in your mind's eye.

In the exact position you are currently in.

See this projection of yourself.

Aligned,

Relaxed,

Supported.

Feel a wave of gratitude wash over your body.

Feel your whole entire front body.

From the top of your head down to your fingertips and toes.

And now feel your back body from the top of your head.

Down to your fingertips and toes.

And now feel the whole entire body.

As you see this projection of your whole entire body.

And just note if your projection has any colors,

Images.

Words,

Phrases,

What comes up for you here.

Just becoming aware that you are feeling yourself.

In both an energetic and physical form.

Breathing into that balance and duality.

The seen and the unseen coming together as one.

Take a breath in through the nose.

Two more times on your own.

Filling up the whole body with air.

And then exhaling to release anything that no longer serves you physically,

Mentally,

Emotionally,

Spiritually and energetically.

Come back to your breath.

Wiggle your fingers,

Wiggle your toes.

And allow yourself to gently come back to this body,

To this space.

Let's all place one hand to the heart and one hand to the belly.

Feeling this sacred connection with self.
