Sit quietly,
Let the body settle into itself,
Take a slow deep breath in and exhale very slowly and again inhale and let the exhalation be long,
Gentle,
Unhurried.
Repeat one more time,
Inhale and let the exhalation stretch out,
Long,
Soft,
Unhurried.
As though time itself is dissolving.
Now for the next while you have nothing to do,
Absolutely nothing,
Nothing to become,
Nothing to change,
Let the world be as it is,
Let yourself be as you are,
Let everything happen around you while you do nothing,
Allow everything to be exactly as it is,
Remain as the unmoving presence,
The breath breathes,
The body rests,
The mind moves as it wishes.
Simply let thoughts come and go,
Like waves rising and dissolving in the ocean,
There is no need to suppress them,
There is no need to control them,
Do not give them importance,
Do not follow them,
Let them come and let them pass,
You remain still,
Remain as the unmoving presence,
You're not trying to modify experience,
You are simply allowing it,
There's no need to improve anything,
There's no need to fix anything,
No effort,
No effort at all,
There's no need to adjust the breath,
Let breathing happen on its own,
This is a gentle state of surrender,
Let your body relax completely,
Thoughts arise like clouds in an open sky,
They pass without effort,
The sky is untouched,
Do not follow the clouds,
Do not resist them,
You are the stillness in which they appear,
Remain as the unmoving presence,
Thought only distracts you when you follow it,
When you give it attention,
It gathers momentum,
One thought leading to another,
But when you don't give importance to a thought,
It cannot stay for long,
So simply notice it and ignore it and it fades by itself,
You are not interfering with the mind,
Some thoughts may arise and say this is boring,
These are also just thoughts,
Do not give them importance,
Let them come and go,
Even boredom is just another cloud,
Remain as the unmoving presence,
After some time the mind will naturally become quiet,
Effort drops away,
The doer disappears,
Only being remains,
To realize your true nature,
Drop all effort,
Physical and mental,
Ignore all thoughts,
Then simply remain here as long as possible,
Here there is no practice,
No meditator,
Only effortless awareness,
Stay here,
Remain as the unmoving presence,
And taste the quiet joy of pure being.
