Good day beautiful souls.

I hope you are well.

Welcome to this Beach Visualisation Meditation.

Bring yourself into a comfortable position,

Whether that's laying down or seated.

Bring awareness to your body.

Notice any areas of tension and release them.

Feel your body becoming relaxed.

Notice the contact that you make with the ground beneath you or the bed or the mat.

Watch your neck and your jaw.

Bring awareness to your breath,

Not trying to change it in any way.

Notice your thoughts,

How busy your mind is or how calm.

Notice any predominant emotions.

Again,

Not trying to push anything away or cling onto any feeling,

Just bringing awareness to how you are in this moment.

Now breathe deeply into your diaphragm,

Drawing air fully into your lungs and release the air with a whooshing sound.

And do that again,

Breathing deeply into your diaphragm,

Drawing the air in fully and releasing with a whooshing sound.

And breathing in again slowly,

Holding for a moment,

And breathing out.

And continue at your own pace,

Drawing a deep breath in and out.

In and out.

Feeling more and more relaxed with each breath.

Feel your body letting go of all the tension,

Becoming relaxed and calm and peaceful.

Feel a wave of relaxation flow from the soles of your feet to your ankles,

Lower legs,

Upper legs,

Hips,

Pelvic area,

Abdomen,

Chest,

Back,

Hands,

Lower arms,

Elbows,

Upper arms,

Shoulders,

Neck,

Back of your head,

Face and the top of your head.

Allow your entire body to rest heavily on the surface where you sit or lie.

Enjoy the complete feeling of relaxation throughout your body.

Now you are fully relaxed,

We'll begin the visualization.

Imagine you are walking through a beautiful tropical forest toward the ocean.

You can hear the waves up ahead.

You can smell the ocean spray.

The air is moist and warm.

And you can feel a pleasant,

Cool breeze blowing through the trees.

You are walking along a path,

Coming closer to the sea.

As you come to the edge of the tropical forest,

You see the brilliant aqua colour of the ocean and the sea.

You walk out of the forest and onto a long stretch of white sand.

You take off your shoes.

The sand is very,

Very soft,

Like very soft powder.

You are walking through the hot,

White sand toward the water.

The beach is wide and long,

And there's nobody in sight.

Hear the waves crashing to the shore.

Smell the clean salt water.

You gaze towards the water.

It is a bright blue-green.

You see the waves gently washing up onto the sand and then receding back toward the ocean.

Washing up and receding back.

Washing up and receding back in a mesmerising rhythm.

Enjoy the ever repeating rhythm of the waves.

Imagine yourself walking toward the water over the fine,

Hot sand.

You are feeling very warm.

As you approach the water,

You can feel the mist from the ocean on your skin.

It cools you.

You walk closer to the waves and you feel the sand becoming wet and firm.

And the sound of the waves gently crashing on the shore.

A wave washes over the sand toward you and touches your toes before it recedes.

As you step forward,

More waves wash over your feet.

Feel the cool water providing relief from the heat.

Walk further into the clear,

Clean water.

You can see the white sand under the water.

The water is a pleasant,

Relaxing temperature providing relief from the hot sun.

Cool,

But not cold.

You walk further into the water and you may choose to take a swim.

Enjoy the ocean for a few minutes.

Now you are feeling refreshed,

You walk back out of the water and onto the beach.

The sun is partially behind the cloud offering some relief from the heat.

You stroll along the beach at the water's edge,

Feeling more and more relaxed,

Free of worries,

No stress,

Calm,

At peace.

Ahead is a comfortable lounge chair and a towel just for you.

You spread the towel out on the chair and lie down,

Enjoying the sun,

The gentle breeze,

The sound of the waves and the smell of the spray.

You feel peaceful and relaxed.

All your stresses have melted away.

When you are ready,

You can slowly bring some movement into your fingers and your toes,

Returning to your usual level of alertness and awareness,

Keeping with you the feeling of calm and relaxation.

Feeling ready to return to your day and leave the beach behind for now.

When you are ready,

Open your eyes,

Stretch out your muscles,

Feeling refreshed and filled with vital energy.
