Namaste.
I'm Rosalie and welcome to this guided yoga nidra meditation designed to help you tap into expanded states of consciousness and astral project with ease if you so desire.
Even if you do not astral project,
You will gain all the benefits of this yoga nidra,
Allowing your body to deeply rest and your nervous system to unwind itself.
If at any time you sense vibrations,
Pulses of energy,
Or are intuitively guided to do your own thing,
Please follow that impulse.
Trust in your own innate wisdom.
Let my guidance drop out of your awareness in that case and follow what feels right to you in that moment.
To begin,
Lie down and find your most comfortable position.
Use any props you might need to feel warm and cozy.
Maybe a blanket on top of you,
Maybe a pillow underneath your head or something to cover your eyes.
Make any last adjustments until you feel warm,
Cozy,
And quiet.
Finding your most comfortable position.
We'll begin by taking two sips of air through the nose,
Long exhale through the mouth.
And again.
One more.
And imagine and feel the surface beneath you.
The walls around you and the ceiling above you.
And bring your awareness to your entire physical body,
Lying here in complete stillness.
Soften your forehead,
Your eyes,
Your jaw,
Your shoulders,
Completely letting go.
And might you soften the muscle of your mind like you're unclenching a fist,
Touching your mind,
Softening,
Letting go.
Drop into your heart space and call in your sankalpa or heartfelt desire.
For this practice,
Might you welcome the intention,
I am more than my physical body and can perceive beyond the physical world.
Whisper this sankalpa to yourself three times and as you say it,
Really feel it through your whole being.
I am more than my physical body and can perceive beyond the physical world.
We will begin now to rotate our awareness through different parts of the body.
Allow your attention to glide from one point to the next,
Creating a cascade of relaxation through your whole body.
As your attention moves,
Your body remains completely still.
Beginning in the mouth,
Feel the sensations at the tip of your tongue,
The root of your tongue,
Sense the teeth,
The gums,
The roof of your mouth and inside both cheeks.
Sense the lower lip,
The upper lip,
The tip of your nose,
Up to the bridge of your nose,
The centre of your forehead,
The right eye and all the little muscles behind the eye.
Your right cheek,
Ear,
Inside the right ear,
Listening.
The centre of your forehead,
The left eye and all the little muscles behind the eye.
The left cheek,
Ear,
Inside your left ear,
Listening.
And a sense of your whole face and scalp,
Full of sensation.
The centre of your throat,
The base of your throat,
Your heart space,
The right side of your chest,
The right shoulder,
Elbow,
Wrist,
Palm,
Your right thumb,
First finger,
Second,
Third,
Little finger.
Feel the space between the fingers,
The tips of the fingers and each finger like a little stream that flows into the space beyond.
The palm,
Wrist,
Elbow,
Shoulder,
A sense of the whole right hand and arm.
Can you sense the volume and the body?
The right shoulder,
Waist,
Hip,
Knee,
Ankle,
The sole of your foot,
The right big toe,
Second,
Third,
Fourth and little toe.
A sense of the whole foot and leg,
The volume,
The shape.
The whole right hemisphere of your body,
Full of sensation and awareness.
The right space,
The left side of your chest,
Your left shoulder,
Elbow,
Wrist,
The palm of your left hand,
Your left thumb,
First finger,
Second,
Third,
Little finger.
Feel the space between the fingers,
The tips of the fingers and each finger like a little stream that flows into the space beyond.
The palm,
Wrist,
Elbow,
Shoulder,
A sense of the whole left hand and arm,
Sensing the volume,
The shape,
The weight.
The left shoulder,
Waist,
Hip,
Knee,
Ankle,
The sole of your left foot,
Your left big toe,
Second,
Third,
Fourth and little toe.
A sense of your whole left foot and leg,
Sensing the volume,
The shape,
The weight.
Now the whole left hemisphere of your body,
Sensing the whole left hemisphere of your body,
Full of sensation and awareness.
And now the whole of your back body,
Feeling only the back of your body.
Now the whole of the front body,
Feeling the whole of your whole body as one,
Lying here,
Resting deeply,
Effortless,
With your mind awake and alert.
And notice the natural flow of your breath,
Waves of breath flowing in and out.
Without changing your breath,
Just sensing how your body expands as you inhale and how it softens and contracts as you exhale.
And sense and imagine the outline of your body.
You might imagine this outline as a colour,
Perhaps a colour blue or white,
The whole contour of your body glowing.
Feel and imagine the contours of your body expanding with each inhale,
Contracting with each exhale.
With each inhale as you expand,
You can feel the flow of your body,
The flow of your body as you expand,
Feeling lighter and lighter,
So light it just flowed away.
Every exhale as you navigate deeper inwards.
Tap into your energy body,
The energetic copy of your physical body,
That part of you that can easily float away and explore beyond the limits of the physical body.
You might test to see if you can float an arm from your energy body,
Not your physical arm.
See if one of your arms is so light,
It might just want to float away.
You might imagine reaching for something in your bedroom without physically moving your arm.
Lying here,
Deeply resting with your mind awake and alert.
Noticing any sensations,
Any vibrations,
Any waves of energy within you.
If you feel this,
Surrender to the sensations and allow them to get faster and faster,
Speeding up,
Surrendering to them.
And know that you are safe and held in this space.
And if you feel nothing,
That's okay too.
Just remain here,
Sensing this energy body,
Allowing your body to deeply,
Deeply rest and recharge.
We will spend a few minutes here.
Just bask in and enjoy whatever experience you may have.
Paying attention.
You you you Just drop down into your heart space and come back to your son Calpa for this practice.
I Am more than my physical body and can perceive beyond the physical world Repeat the sun Calpa to yourself three times and as you say it feel it through your whole being I Am more than my physical body and can perceive beyond the physical world You Sense the support of the earth beneath you the walls around you the ceiling above you And start to deepen your breath Taking as much time as you need to come fully back into this space And slowly begin to awaken the body Bringing your awareness back into your thumb Just making little circles at the thumb And then brushing them across the fingertips Perhaps making little circles with the wrists And bringing your awareness down into your toes Starting to make little movements with the toes And perhaps little circles with the angles And when it feels right for you you might like to give yourself a really nice big stretch And then just resting here for a moment Tuning back into your body back into your mind and Notice how you feel Notice what might have come up for you during this practice Any insights any benefits And simmering in these benefits for another breath or two And perhaps setting an intention to carry any of these benefits with you into the rest of your day Thank you so much for practicing with me.
Have a wonderful day.
