You might imagine this as a great spiritual adventure.
Could you allow yourself to drift,
Effortlessly,
Being carried by currents of light,
Energy and sound?
Trust that whatever happens next is the perfect experience for you at this time.
No pressure,
No expectations.
Allow yourself to be open and receptive to whatever unfolds.
Let's begin our practice together.
Take a few moments here to settle in,
Lying down preferably on your back.
Could you stretch your legs out and let your feet flop to the sides,
And place your hands wherever they feel the most comfortable.
You may like to adjust your headphones or any other props you might be using,
Your eye mask,
A blanket on top of you.
Do whatever is needed to feel completely at ease.
And as you settle in,
Could you take up all the space around you,
Fill up the space,
Imagine spreading yourself out,
Expanding as much as possible.
And you might imagine creating a little cocoon around you,
A sacred space of comfort,
Where you feel safe,
Supported and cradled by the surface beneath you.
Allow yourself to sink back,
To really land into the support beneath you.
Now let's take 3 big cleansing breaths together,
Big inhale through the nose,
Sighing it out.
And again.
One more,
The biggest inhale you've taken all day.
Allow the lips to come together,
Breathing in and out through the nose,
And with every exhale allow any tension to drain from the body,
Letting go of any sense of effort,
Of doing.
No planning,
No thinking.
Nothing is required if you're here,
But you allow all thoughts to simply dissolve as you drop into the realms of feeling,
Sensing and listening.
Might you release any sense of tightness or gripping in the forehead,
The jaw,
The shoulders,
Letting them go,
Body releasing,
Softening,
Letting go.
Might you release any gripping in the mind,
Letting the mind be open,
Relaxed.
With every exhale allow any tension to drain from the body and from the mind,
Sinking deeper and deeper into the support beneath you.
As you sink deeper and deeper,
Repeat these affirmations to yourself,
Priming yourself for what's to come.
I am more than my physical body.
I am more than my physical body.
I am open and ready to astral project with ease.
I am open and ready to astral project with ease.
As my body sinks deeper and deeper,
My mind remains awake and alert.
As my body sinks deeper and deeper,
My mind remains awake and alert.
Full body,
Shifting down.
Now drop down into your heart space,
The centre of your chest,
Sensing into the heart energy,
Activating the sense of expansion,
Of love,
Of gratitude.
From this space within your heart,
Could you welcome your sankalpa,
Your heart's deepest desire,
Perhaps your own,
Or if you're not working with a sankalpa,
You might welcome the phrase,
I am a being of unlimited potential and astral project with ease.
Could you internally whisper your sankalpa or this phrase to yourself three times,
I am a being of unlimited potential and astral project with ease.
As you repeat this to yourself,
Really feel it through your whole being.
Could you embrace your sankalpa with a whole of you,
Welcoming this seed of intent to be planted deep within your heart.
Now we will rotate our awareness,
Our energy,
Through different parts of the body.
You might imagine this like a stream or current of light gliding from part to part.
As I name each part,
Could you bring all your energy,
Your attention to that part.
You may like to imagine imprinting it with a little point of light,
Like a little star,
Activating that part with energy,
Warmth and vibrance.
Beginning at the crown of the head,
Gathering all your awareness at the crown of the head,
Placing a little point of light there,
The center of the forehead,
The mind's eye,
The right eye,
The right nostril,
Sensing the flow of air through the right nostril.
The left nostril,
Sensing the flow of air in and out,
The tip of the tongue,
The root of the tongue,
The roof of your mouth,
Inside the right cheek,
Inside the left cheek,
The upper lip,
The right ear,
Inside both ears now,
Inside both ears,
The center of the throat,
The center of the chest,
The heart space,
The right side of the chest,
The right shoulder,
Wrist,
The palm of the hand,
The tip of the thumb,
The tip of the index finger,
Middle finger,
Ring finger,
And little finger.
The tips of all five fingers of the right hand,
Sensing the space between the fingers,
Each finger like a little stream of light flows into the space beyond.
Back to the palm,
Wrist,
Elbow,
Shoulder,
The right side of the chest,
Waist,
The heel of the foot,
The sole of your foot,
The tip of the right big toe,
Second toe,
Third,
Fourth,
And little toe.
The top of your foot,
And a sense of the whole right leg and foot together.
And now the whole right side of the torso,
The arm,
And up to the crown of the head,
The whole right side of the body together now.
The whole right side of your body saturated with sensation,
Full of aliveness,
Energy and light.
As the light of awareness spreads through the whole right side of your body,
Might you imagine the left side dissolving,
Falling into darkness,
Only the right side remains.
Breathing into the whole right side,
Noticing any sensations,
Surges of energy,
Any vibrations that might be present.
Now let your attention gather back to the heart space,
The centre of the chest,
The left side of the chest,
The left shoulder,
Elbow,
Wrist,
The palm of the hand.
The tip of the left thumb,
The tip of the index finger,
Middle finger,
Ring finger,
And little finger.
Sensing all five fingertips of the left hand.
Sensing the space between the fingers.
Each finger,
Like a little stream of light,
Flows into the space beyond.
Back to the palm.
Wrist.
Elbow.
Shoulder.
The left side of the chest.
Waist.
Tip.
Ankle.
The heel of the foot.
The sole of the foot.
The tip of the left big toe.
Second toe.
Third.
Fourth.
And little toe.
The top of your foot.
And a sense of the whole left leg.
And now the whole left side of the torso.
The arm.
Up the neck to the crown of the head.
Sensing the whole left side of the body,
Brimming with sensation,
Awareness.
The whole left side of the body,
Shimmering in the light of awareness.
Sensing the warmth.
The aliveness.
As you sense into this left side of the body,
It's as though the right side could dissolve,
Slip away.
Only the left side is illuminated by the light of awareness.
Now sensing both sides of the body equally.
Simultaneously.
A light of awareness shining through both sides of the body.
The whole body glowing.
Humming.
With light.
With energy.
With awareness.
Resting deeply.
Effortless.
The mind awake and alert.
And now could you sense the natural rhythm of the breath.
Just noticing the body breathing itself.
In and out.
And as you do this,
Could you notice and sense the outline of the body.
Contours.
The outer edges of the physical body.
You might imagine a light,
A brilliant white light,
Contouring the body.
Glowing.
Humming with light.
And as you inhale,
Allow the light to flow through every cell and every part of your body.
And as you exhale,
Could you imagine this white,
Radiant light glowing brighter and brighter all around you.
Filling yourself up as you inhale.
Glowing brighter and brighter as you exhale.
Charging yourself up with light.
Continuing like this without changing the breath.
And now could you bring your awareness back down to the soles of your feet.
Could you imagine breathing light and energy up from the soles of your feet up to the crown of your head.
And as you exhale,
Let this energy swirl around you all the way back down to your feet.
Inhale through the soles of your feet up to the crown of the head.
Exhale energy and light swirling around you all the way back down to your feet.
Continue like this a few more rounds.
Feeling the whole of you saturated,
Brimming with light and energy.
Within you and around you.
We will move this energy and light through the body now,
Using psychic alternate nostril breathing.
Just follow my guidance,
Remembering to switch sides after every inhale.
Bring all your awareness to the right nostril.
Imagine breathing in through the right.
Switch.
Exhale through the left nostril.
Breathing in through the left.
Switch.
Exhale right.
Breathing in through the right.
Switch.
Exhale left.
Breathing in through the left.
Switch.
Exhale right.
Continue like this a few more rounds.
Switching sides after every inhale.
The next time you're on the right side,
Imagine being able to breathe through the whole right side of the body.
Switch.
Exhale down the whole left side of the body.
Inhale through the left side of the body.
Switch.
Exhale down the right side.
Inhale the whole right side of the body.
Switch.
Exhale down the left side of the body.
Inhale through the left side of the body.
Switch.
Exhale down the right side.
Continue in your own rhythm.
Now let it go.
Could you shift your awareness deeper within now and see if you can notice a pulse,
A wave,
A buzz.
If you sense any sensations,
Could you lean into them,
Surrender to them.
Could you invite the feeling of heaviness through the body now.
The body so heavy as though it's made of lead,
Sinking deeper and deeper into the support beneath you.
Now lightness.
Invite the feeling of lightness.
The body so light as though it's floating upwards.
Back to heaviness,
Feeling the body sink deeper and deeper as it gets so heavy.
The body so light as though it's floating upwards.
Back to heaviness,
Feeling the body sink deeper and deeper into the support beneath you.
Now expanding,
Inviting the feeling of spaciousness,
Vastness with no boundaries.
Return to the feeling of shrinking,
Becoming as small,
As contracted as possible,
Like the whole of you is just a little point of light.
Now expanding outwards,
Spacious,
Vast,
All of you expanding beyond the boundaries of the body.
Limitless,
Boundless.
As you expand outwards,
Feel your awareness increase,
Becoming more and more aware of your lighter,
Higher vibrational body,
That part of you that is completely free of all limits.
All sensations in the body melted away,
Only the light of your awareness remains.
You are the light,
Drifting here as pure awareness and light.
Expansive,
Limitless,
Free.
The mind awake and alert.
That light part of you,
That subtle part of you,
Ever so gently rocking.
That subtle part of you,
Ready and free to simply roll out,
Float up,
Perhaps sink down.
Really tune into your own inner guidance here,
Sensing into that energy part of you.
That's ready for an adventure.
Let it guide you.
You may notice any sensations,
Any surges of energy flowing through you.
If you do sense any sensations at any point,
Lean into them,
Surrender to them,
Knowing you're completely safe and held in this space.
The light of protection around you.
You're more aware of your lighter,
Higher vibrational body,
That part of you that's completely free of all limits.
Remembering that you are a being of light,
Pure unlimited potential,
And can easily explore beyond the limits of the physical body.
I will leave you here in this space to perform an exit technique of your choice.
Let your inner guidance guide you.
Whether that's a target technique,
A motion-based technique,
Or perhaps you wish to climb up a rope or a ladder.
Or perhaps your intuition is guiding you in another direction.
Remember to stay calm in the knowledge that you are safe and can return at any time,
Simply by thinking of your physical body.

Tap into this light,
Pure part of yourself that can and does explore beyond the limits of the physical body.
