Good morning and welcome to a simple meditation where we're going to be repeating some affirmations to remind ourselves bright and early before we begin our day that we are capable of accomplishing our goals for at least today.
I enjoy working on things one day at a time.
It's important to look for goals that we can accomplish today whether those goals are a task in and of themselves or maybe they're part of a bigger plan or goal in life.
It doesn't matter.
We're looking for things that we can take on today and accomplish if we allow ourselves the time,
Motivation,
And will to act on them.
It's very easy to get lost in the day and spend your time doing things that may or may not be in your best interest or may not be very helpful in completing the things that you yourself know to be beneficial to you.
Our intention now is to realize our goals for the day and remind ourselves that we are capable and we are motivated.
As always,
Let's begin by getting in a comfortable position.
If you're still laying in bed,
That's perfectly okay.
If you want to sit up in a comfortable yet strong position,
Feel free to do that as well.
Now that we're comfortable,
Let's gently rest our focus on our breath just for a moment.
Give yourself a little bit of time to get your mind focused,
Get your attention under our control.
You may be tired.
You may even find it very easy to wander off.
If this happens,
Just gently bring yourself back to the breath.
Follow each in and out breath.
You can even count on the breaths.
Count one on the in breath and one on the out breath,
If that helps.
Spend some time here in this position holding your focus and calming your mind.
Let's think now of a goal that we wish to achieve.
Place whatever this goal is at the forefront of your mind.
Focus all of your attention on this goal.
Think about what you can realistically do today that will help you to achieve this goal or to at least set you on the right path.
Focus on this for a moment and really let yourself dive into your plan.
Now ask yourself,
What will accomplishing this goal change in your life?
Can you bring yourself to realize that you're not alone?
Can you bring yourself to realize that chipping away one step at a time towards your goal will ultimately improve your life?
Go ahead now and bring our awareness gently back to our breath.
Now that we've identified our intentions for the day,
Let's confirm those intentions and really secure them in our mind.
Repeat these words gently to yourself either out loud or internally,
Whichever you find most helpful.
I will conquer this day.
I will achieve my goals for today.
I will take time for myself.
I am motivated.
I am capable and I am ready.
With everything that you do today,
Make sure that you look at the bigger picture.
Attack your goals.
Come at them piece by piece and remember that your intention today is to work on these goals.
Remind yourself that you will conquer this day and absolutely nothing will stand in your way.
We're going to take a bit longer now and we're going to repeat these words again.
Let them really sink in.
Focus on each sentence,
Repeating it over and over again to yourself.
I will conquer this day.
I will achieve my goals for today.
I will take time for myself.
I will take time for myself.
I am motivated,
Capable and ready.
I will take a moment now and repeat those as you feel you need to.
I will conquer this day.

Bring your focus now back to your breath as we begin to wrap up this meditation.
Any feelings of doubt you may have of your ability to conquer your daily intentions or goals?
Notice these feelings.
Note them and let them pass.
Absolutely nothing can stand in your way.
You can and will conquer this day and you are in control.
