Sometimes we find ourselves in a bad mood, unable to cultivate and share the gratitude that we should be feeling. This is a short meditation for days just like that when you don't want to work, you don't want to move, and you don't know what you want. Take a few minutes here and refill your tank of gratitude, remember why you are happy, and share it with the world.

Sometimes we all just need to take a minute and reset our mindset.

And that is exactly what we're going to do now.

Let's get out of this mood or away from this anxiety and really shift our focus inward and alter our perception.

So first I'd like you to find a quiet and comfortable place that you can sit or lie down.

And I want you to close your eyes and take a deep breath in,

Filling your lungs with air.

And I want you to exhale slowly,

Releasing any tension or stress that you feel.

I want you to do this for three more breaths.

A deep breath in slowly,

Holding it.

And then a nice long exhale,

Releasing stress and tension.

And as you continue to focus on your breath,

As always,

Thoughts may arise in your mind.

Judge them and let them go,

Returning your attention to the sensation of your breath.

Imagining your thoughts as clouds passing through the sky and allowing them to drift away.

Now bring your awareness to the sensations in your body.

Feel the weight of your body against the surface you're resting on.

Notice the contact between your feet and the floor or the sensation of your back against the chair.

Now feel the support of the earth beneath you.

Now finally,

Take a moment to cultivate a sense of gratitude.

Bring to mind someone or something you are grateful for in this present moment.

It could be something simple like the warmth of the sun or the comfort of a cozy space or a pet or a family member.

Allow yourself to fully appreciate,

Savor,

And be thankful for this moment of gratitude.

And when you open your eyes,

Do your best to remember why you are grateful.

And to spread and share that gratitude with everyone who crosses your path.

When you're ready,

Gently open your eyes and bring your awareness back to the room.
