This is just one minute on Feel Safer.
Actually in danger.
It's not appropriate to feel safe.
On the other hand,
In my observation,
Most of the time,
People,
Including myself,
Could afford to feel safer.
And to relax unnecessary tension,
Bracing,
Vigilance,
And guarding.
To feel safer as practices,
I've got a few suggestions.
Look around and recognize protections in your environment.
Sturdy walls,
Stable floors,
Gravity holding you in place,
You're not floating up into outer space.
Other people who are on your side are allies and have resources for you.
Recognize protections and notice what it feels like to feel protected.
Another thing you can do is recognize your own strengths on the basis of which you can deal with challenges to your safety or challenges to the safety of others.
Here,
Too,
You have opportunities for one of the most beautiful experiences of all.
Reassurance,
Or relief.
Another thing you can do to help yourself feel safer is to watch the tendency to invent threats or to be afraid of not feeling afraid because then there's a fear that somehow you'll lower your guard and that's when you'll get smacked.
Recognize that you can be strong,
You can be alert.
You can be courageous while simultaneously feeling as safe as you reasonably can.
In all of these ways,
May you feel safer.
