Welcome to day four of this guided meditation journey.
What we see outside is a direct reflection of our internal state.
Today's meditation,
We will be activating the elements inside of us to make room for more sacredness and honoring of who we truly are and what we came from and where we will go back once we pass,
Once our time on this earth ends.
I invite you to stand up.
You may leave your eyes open for this meditation or bring them to close,
Whatever feels suitable and comfortable for you.
Begin by rooting your feet onto the floor,
Feeling the ground beneath you,
Noticing if you can feel all the toes on both your feet,
From your big toe all the way to your pinky toe.
You may visualize roots growing from the soles of your feet,
Moving down into the earth until it reaches the core,
The center of the earth.
As you're rooting down,
Tap into the sense of stability,
Support and care that the earth is giving you and notice how this feels.
Perhaps remind yourself why you are even listening to this meditation.
Why are you even doing this challenge in the first place?
Why is this important to you?
How does this connect to your values,
To your purpose,
To your commitments,
To what is important to you?
Breathing in here and breathe out.
Beautiful.
Moving into water.
You may now,
Keeping your eyes closed or open if they are,
Begin to gently shift the weight of your body from right to left,
Very slowly.
And as you're swaying and loosening up,
Your body,
Tap into this element of water inside of you,
Your blood,
Your sweat,
Your tears,
Moving like streams.
And as you're moving,
Know that we are also moving and making room for whatever that is you may be feeling and including all of this stuff that we may perceive as negative,
Such as frustration,
Tiredness,
Overwhelm,
Anxiety,
Stress.
Remember,
Emotions are energy in motion.
Can we make space for all those things?
Can we swim,
Can we sway with all of our emotions?
Good.
Deep breath in here,
In through the feet.
Feeling that air travel all the way up your legs,
Up your spine,
Up to the crown of your head and out into the room as you exhale.
Moving into fire,
Pressing your feet into the ground and tapping into the element of fire,
This heat that is the source of energy in your body,
Connecting all of the systems,
Your digestive system,
Your circulatory system,
Immune system,
Respiratory system.
All this is happening through fire,
Through that sparking,
Through the electricity and that heat,
What fires together,
Wires together.
This is also how we create these beliefs.
It's all happening through that element of fire.
So breathing into that,
A little bit heavily in and out through the nose or through the mouth,
Whatever feels good,
Feeling that heat.
Place one hand on your belly and one hand on your chest and feel into both of these spaces that hold all the answers,
That hold all our drive,
Our gut feelings,
Our intuition that lives in our belly and our soul's yearnings,
This boundless resource of love that lives in your heart,
That fuels your passion.
Take a moment to tap into your fire,
Your flame that lives in this belly and in the center of your chest.
What are you passionate about?
What do you care about?
With all your heart,
Notice what's the first thing that's coming up for you and acknowledge that with a deep breath in,
Opening up that chest even more,
Maybe even spreading out your feet a little more to get a bit bigger.
Beautiful.
And lastly,
Moving into air,
Release your hands to your sides and think up.
Feel a stretch in your neck.
Allow your spine to feel even longer.
Feel your head floating.
There is a quality of serene lightness and possibility in your body.
Your body is full of space.
Between each and every cell,
There is space.
And you have trillions and billions of cells.
Can you tap into the space?
What thoughts are arising,
If any?
Notice what story you are in.
Can you watch these thoughts go by like leaves rolling down a river or fluffy clouds floating across the sky?
Notice if right now you are going to the future or past.
Bring yourself back to this present moment gently with your breath.
Good.
Acknowledging to yourself that we may not be able to control our thoughts,
But what we do have control over is which thought we'd like to hold on to,
Which thought sticks,
And which thought we would like to let go of.
And just be a witness to.
Maybe learn from.
How are you feeling right now?
What do you notice?
Which element did you most connect to?
Where was there a longing for more?
What is the possibility if you strengthen this element in your being,
In your doing?
Now gently soften your knees.
Feeling into the ground,
Coming back into your body,
Back into the room.
And if your eyes are not open yet,
I invite you to open them and receive the light from your room,
From the window.
Thank yourself for committing to this practice.
Know that you can always come back to this meditation whenever you like.
It's here for you.
And I'm here for you too.
With love,
Rae.
