For those who would like to go deeper, take a few minutes to Journal and Reflect on a recent change in your life. How did it expand your understanding of the spectrum life has to offer? How can we honor it more?

Namaste,

My name is Rae,

Your Transformational Soul Coach,

And I am so happy you are here with me.

Today we practice gratitude for change,

Recognizing change as the architect of our personal inner landscape.

A powerful opportunity to replace,

Rewire feelings of fear and danger with acceptance and expansion of your greatest potential,

Connecting with who you truly are.

Let's begin.

Find yourself in a comfortable seated position,

Spine nice and tall,

Crown reaching to the ceiling,

To the sky,

Tailbone rooted down into the earth,

Into the ground.

And beginning to bring awareness to the natural flow of your breath,

Feeling your chest rise and fall like a wave.

As you inhale,

Noticing your ribcage get wider,

Expand to the right and left sides of the room.

And as you inhale,

Feeling it come inwards towards your spine.

A constant change,

Yet often unnoticed.

This,

My loves,

Is the gentle rhythm of life within you,

Within each and every one of us.

And as you breathe,

Can we invite more and more of your facial muscles to relax?

Your eyebrows,

Eyelids,

All the muscles and nerves around your eyes,

Tongue,

Loosening the jaw.

Noticing any subtle changes in your body with each breath.

And bringing your attention to your lungs,

The tiny sacs in the lungs where oxygen exchange occurs,

The cells in the alveoli.

This renews every eight days.

Take another deep breath in through the nose and breathe into every single pore of your body,

Of your skin,

Your largest organ.

This too renews itself every 27 to 30 days.

Isn't that magnificent?

This outer layer that protects us.

And now place one hand or both on the belly,

Your lower abdomen,

Feeling it expand like a balloon as you inhale.

Feeling the navel move towards your spine as you exhale.

Connecting to all the cells in the stomach lining.

They have a tough job due to the very acidic environment and they regenerate approximately every two to nine days.

Whether it's time,

Seasons,

The weather,

Everything is constantly changing.

Nothing ever stays the same.

Just like the most basic thing,

Your breath.

If we went only one direction,

We wouldn't be alive right now.

We wouldn't even be here right now.

As you sit with this truth,

I invite you to bring to mind a recent change in your life.

It can be small like using a different route to work because of traffic instead of using your regular route or having to cancel plans because you're not in the mood.

Or it can be big like moving homes,

Completing a degree or certification.

And as you bring this change up into your awareness,

Visualize it,

Sense,

Imagine it.

Notice if there is any subtle shifts in your body,

Any thoughts,

Any narratives or stories arising.

And simply watch,

Observe them like watching a movie.

Recognize these feelings and see if you can take any positive outcome from this change.

Maybe it's sharpening a quality inside of you,

A character or way of being.

Like acceptance,

Patience,

Open-mindedness,

Courage,

Bravery.

What are the strengths you gained,

The resilience you found or understanding that came,

That emerged from this change?

And now maybe taking in the person you get to become because of this change,

Allowing yourself to feel a sense of healthy pride from that or a job well done.

Taking a deep breath in and out,

Using the breath to allow these feelings to become more vivid,

More intense.

And as you do,

Really take in this truth that hey,

Maybe not all change is scary or bad.

It can actually be good,

Be positive.

It can be an invitation to grow,

To feel empowered.

Can we breathe into the knowing that change is the universe's invitation for us to evolve in some area of our life,

In some dimension.

And through this transformation,

It is only leading me to a deeper truth about myself and about life.

Begin to absorb these positive feelings,

Imagining them as a warm light entering your body with each breath.

Tapping into the sense of being supported and guided,

Even though the feelings of uncertainty and not knowing can be frightening and scary.

And with your next inhale,

Imagining this warm light spreading,

Filling you up,

Reaching every corner of your being,

The tips of your fingers and toes and beyond.

Breathing and internalizing this truth that if we can bring gratitude for change,

Even the little ones like the weather,

The unexpected changes and slips through the day.

If we can smile through those things,

Then we can experience more freedom in our lives.

And now gently link these positive feelings,

These sensations,

This vibration and energy you've created in your body,

In your being with any past experiences of change that were perhaps challenging,

Painful even.

Visualizing the warmth from your current feelings,

Almost melting away the cold of past fears,

Pains associated with change.

They can co-exist and yet the warmth transforms the cold.

The positive begins to soothe and heal the negative.

With your next breath in,

Allow yourself to be grateful for this dynamic existence,

Acknowledging the spectrum of life that change is constant,

Like the ebb and flow of the ocean's tide.

Now let's take in three deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth very slow,

Very gently.

As you sink into these words by Reinhold Niebuhr,

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,

The courage to change the things I can,

And the wisdom to know the difference.

Bring your awareness back into your room,

Back into the space,

To the sounds around you,

The ground beneath you,

The sky above you.

And when you're ready,

Gently,

Lovingly open your eyes,

Carrying with you the light of gratitude for change.

Thank you and I love you.

If you enjoyed this meditation,

Do let me know by writing a comment or liking the video,

Sharing it with a loved one.

It would mean a lot.

Have a wonderful day.

Love,

Rae.
