Deep Healing Meditation #1 - Integration & Wholeness
by Renee Sills
In this guided meditation we'll work to include and integrate what is often felt as separate parts of ourselves: physicality/instinct, mind/cognition, and heart/emotion. As we practice integration, we'll extend healing back to our influences of dis-integration to promote resolution and forgiveness, and we'll extend healing forward into our future choices and circumstances.

We hope you enjoy.
Hello everyone.
Thanks for listening.
This is René Sills and I'm happy to offer a somatic meditation today that's focused on deep healing.
Deep healing is a holistic,
Inclusive experience.
It's not about healing any one thing in particular,
But rather all the things,
All the things that are connected to all the other things.
A lot of our pain and injury began before we were ever even born.
So one example of this is pain that we've received because of ways that we've been treated by our parents or by our families.
And when we look at the conditions that our parents or family members face in their own childhood or young adulthood and then recognize that they also were wounded and then their wounding turned into a behavior or way of being that was painful and wounding for us.
And we could go back and back and back and back and see a complex lineage of pain.
And most families have this in some way or another.
Family is often the place where we're wounded the deepest.
Family as a sentiment extends to home and home as a feeling always exists within a larger culture.
And so a lot of us have pain around our identities within the larger culture of feeling somehow that we don't belong,
Feeling that our lives are not valued in the same way.
If you're living inside of a marginalized identity in terms of gender,
Sexuality,
Race,
Language,
Religious beliefs,
Anything that's not the dominant accepted norm of the place where you live,
There's some pain around that.
And there's always a kind of,
For all of us,
These things that create wounding and create pathology that have so much to do with so many things that we'll never be able to address it individually.
And a lot of this wounding then manifests in individual ways.
So because of the way that you were raised,
Maybe there's a belief pattern or a mental pattern that instills itself in your behavior.
And then you make choices in your life to consume things.
This is all hypothetical to consume food and drinks and drugs in a way that's not life affirming,
That's more destructive.
And if we wanted to look at,
Well,
Why are you doing that?
That there's this underlying pain that then the destructive element somehow causes a numbing for or can create a distraction from.
And that's really common,
Right?
That we use substances to distract us.
And substances include a lot of things,
Anything that we might reach for to not feel something as sharply.
We might find that on an individual level that the emotional impact becomes something that is somatic.
So this is a psychosomatic response and physical symptoms that manifest because of a psychological or emotional reality.
Migraine headaches,
Tension headaches,
Insomnia,
Depression,
Anxiety,
Again,
Relationships with food and with substances,
But now in terms of how we absorb or assimilate,
These are really common predicaments that people find in their lives that they have health concerns that aren't because of one simple factor that someone can change,
But it's because it's rooted in this deeper sense of wounding,
Of misbelonging,
Of not being nourished maybe generations ago.
So deep healing is the idea that we can heal ourselves and heal the past and heal the future.
That by connecting to the experience of something and finding our own manner of resolution,
Of forgiveness,
Of integration,
Then we create these energetic cords or releasing waves that we can send back into the past.
Maybe then we're not hauling around the baggage of whoever,
Whatever was back then.
Because we're not hauling it around,
Because we're not always trying to escape it or defend against it or being impacted by it so extremely,
Then we also can heal the future.
So deep healing is deep and encompassing.
And we all have a need for it.
So that's kind of the premise,
The beginning of this meditation.
Okay,
So as usual,
You can be in whatever body position you'd like to be in.
You can take a seat,
Feel free to lie down,
Feel free to move.
Maybe you're listening in headphones as you commute somewhere,
That's great.
We're just going to start by centering breath,
By breathing in through the nose and exhaling out the mouth.
And as you inhale,
Feel your breath accepted into your body.
And then as you exhale,
Feel the calming effect of the exhale and let yourself dwell in that.
So inhaling,
You feel that your breath can be received into your body,
You are capable of receiving it.
And then exhaling and you feel that sigh out and the sighing is relaxing for your brain,
It might feel relaxing in your belly and you just want to dwell in that.
Let yourself start to linger in that relaxation.
As you inhale to whatever capacity feels comfortable,
And this is not about forcing anything in,
It's simply allowing your body to receive breath and this happens automatically.
And then whenever you feel sated,
You just exhale.
And as you continue with this breathing,
Notice the sensation of breath.
So this is literally tracking the sensation.
It's not thinking about the sensation,
It's not trying to do anything with it,
It's just feeling how your breath is pulled in from the space outside of you and it comes in and it touches your nose or your sinuses or your mouth and into your throat and down into your lungs and see if you can follow the sensation.
And then as you exhale,
Feeling the sensation of the exhale.
And I make statements about what things feel like for me and if they don't align for you,
Don't worry.
Just notice what your sensation is right now.
And follow it,
Track it,
Be present with it.
If your eyes are closed or if your eyes are open,
Feel that your eyes relax back.
So the skin around your eyes,
Your eyelids,
Over your cheekbones,
The corners of your eyes and above your eyes,
That skin is soft and the skin of your forehead is soft.
And relax your brain and the message that you want to give to yourself right now is you don't need to know anything.
So sometimes we can create a lot of pain for ourselves by feeling like we need to know,
Being stuck in some kind of indecision,
Not being able to make a choice,
Being fearful about what might happen in the future,
Feeling some kind of insecurity presently and we're worried about what's going to happen.
Wanting to know is a big cause of our own suffering.
So you can relax your brain right now and just give yourself the message you're never going to know.
It just won't happen.
You cannot know what is yet unwritten.
There are so many moving pieces in the world right now.
Everything is cause and effect.
There is no way to know what's going to happen in the future.
There are conditions that can set up many possibilities,
Some more probable than others,
But there is no way to know.
And so really relax your brain around whatever you're holding,
Whatever information you're trying to concretize.
And then I want you to feel that there is no way to know what the meaning is,
What the purpose is.
That this experience of living on earth in a human body is an experience of extreme subjectivity.
That you're this tiny,
Tiny,
Tiny,
Tiny little speck on the face of the planet.
And that there has been hundreds of thousands of years of development before you ever arrived,
Before you were ever an idea.
And that there will be,
No matter what happens,
Hundreds of thousands of years,
An infinity of development after you're gone.
And we don't know what it's going to be.
The universe will continue to expand.
New planets will continue to be discovered.
Stars will die and be born.
Elements will shift.
Fire's floods,
Earthquakes,
They'll all happen.
The face of the earth has been changing ever since it began.
Change is constant.
There's no way you can know what the meaning is.
And so relax that,
Relax any need to know.
And feel that all the way around your brain is just soft.
And that brain space isn't meant to form any kind of plan.
It's really at its best when it's receptive,
When it's relaxed,
When it can make intuitive connections between things.
Oh,
That thing happened.
I just smelled this thing and it made me think of this other thing and,
Oh,
They're kind of the same.
Hmm,
Insight.
This is how the brain really can serve us is when it's relaxed.
So try and promote that right now with the feeling of your breath,
With bringing your attention into your brain space and by telling yourself,
I don't have to know anything.
Totally free to not know.
Okay.
And then we'll bring our attention down into the pelvic center,
To the pelvic space.
And I want you to notice the cognitive and the perceptual shift as you move your attention from one part of your body into another.
And this is part of becoming somatically intelligent is that we notice what happens when we make changes.
So notice if things feel quieter or louder,
If they feel,
You know,
If you might experience gravity in a different way,
You might have a different emotional quality that's present as you bring your attention into your pelvis and into the pelvic center.
And so if you feel on your body kind of halfway between your pubic bones and your belly button or a couple of inches below your belly button and the corresponding space at your back is about the middle of your sacrum,
And if you were able to move your attention into the meeting place between the front and the back body at this level,
And then from that space kind of reach down through your pelvic floor and into the earth,
This is the pelvic center.
This is the womb space that all of us have where life,
The mystery of life is contained.
So if you're a person who has a uterus,
Life can grow in this part of your body.
If you're a person that has testicles,
Life is created from this part of your body.
So this is where the loop of the vast deference comes up from the testes and into the penis.
It's a transformational place.
It's a communicative place.
And in a uterus,
This is where seed would come in and then it would plant,
And it's a transformational place.
It's a creative place.
And in this part of your body,
You might feel that this is the earth magic.
This is the capacity of this earth realm to grow things.
This is what happens on earth.
The inert materials of clay and mineral and sediment get mixed with fluids.
And when those materials are infused with heat and light,
Then they grow into things.
And that's plants and animals and all of the material forms that animals and plants create.
So pretty magical space in your body,
The space of creation.
And the space of creation is not separate from the creative capacity of the planet that you are a part of.
And so what I want you to imagine right now is from the pelvic center,
There's a reaching down into the ground and there's a response from the earth that comes back up into your pelvic center.
So for many of us,
We've experienced disintegration in this part of our body.
I'm going to say for most of us,
We've experienced this and that disintegration could have many reasons.
So sexual abuse is obvious.
And sexual abuse can happen physically.
It can also happen mentally.
It can happen emotionally.
It can happen psychologically.
It can happen through culture.
So you and everyone you know has experienced sexual abuse to varying or lesser degrees.
If you have never experienced anything in a relationship,
You have definitely experienced it through media.
Our media is infused with images of sexual violence,
With assumptions around bodies,
Masculinity,
Femininity,
Sex itself,
The assumptions about sex,
What it means.
Nobody is free from that destructive mind state that heteronormativity and Hollywood have produced.
No one is free from that.
So we've all been reduced into ideas.
We've all been exploited.
We've all felt insecure.
We've all witnessed violence.
And many,
Many,
Many,
Many people have been both victims and perpetrators of violence.
And if you've been a perpetrator,
There's also some disintegration,
You know,
That that energy can move through and harm someone else.
And so if you have that memory in your body,
It could be again,
You know,
You could be a parent,
It could be someone else.
If you have experienced these kinds of events in your life,
What I am going to invite now for all of us is the same kind of relaxation that we've practiced in our brains,
Not knowing,
To now come down into the pelvic space.
And in this space is a little bit of a different message.
And that message is around temporariness.
And it's a contextualizing of sorts.
And it's on the one hand a recognition that the sex instinct in nature often involves domination,
That there is this animal instinct.
And that sexuality has some really strong energies that underlie it,
Some deep hormonal urges,
Animal instinct.
And that we also have a lot of conditioning around story that we've absorbed about what is right and what is wrong and what is healthy and what is not.
And sometimes the animal instinct and the stories that we tell really don't mesh well.
And so there can be shame,
There can be,
You know,
Again,
Disintegration experiences that literally pull us apart from ourselves.
So what I want for you to do is infuse the space of your body with forgiveness,
With acceptance,
With allowance,
And with intelligence.
And to continue to let the space of your body flow down into the earth and for the earth to flow back up into you.
And in the same way as we said,
There's no way you can know in your mind.
Now on a deep emotional level to say,
I don't know why these instincts happen and that they hurt people.
Or that there is manipulation that continues to exist that manipulates this energy,
That I feel it.
I don't know why that happens.
It's an instinct.
But I do know that I want to be awake to this energy in myself,
That I want to honor it,
That I want to treat myself well,
And that I want to treat others well from this space in my body.
And we recognize that the desire instinct can be very destructive.
It can be beautiful and really wonderful,
But it can also create the conditions that will keep us from listening because we get gripped on something that we want.
So the prayer here is,
Can I have enough space so that I can listen to what I really want?
Can I have enough space for my own pain?
Can I have enough space from messaging?
Can I have enough space from any shame or confusion or embarrassment or denial or blah,
Blah,
Blah,
Blah,
Blah?
Can I feel my own desire?
Can I know what it is?
And can I make intelligent choices around it because I feel its capacity?
Okay.
And then we're going to bring our attention up into our hearts.
And we easily could have started in the heart,
And we easily can end in the heart.
And this is an endless kind of loop where the heart,
The mind,
And the animal body,
The animal instinct always have to find their way with each other and back to each other again and again and again and again.
And any one of these on its own doesn't work so well.
So our minds divorced from our hearts and our bodies,
Extremely destructive.
Our hearts divorced from our minds and our bodies,
Extremely subjective and not able to accomplish much.
Our bodies divorced from our hearts and our minds,
Basic,
Right?
We're not there anymore at all.
Some of us are,
But it's a really basic kind of instinct.
There's no opportunity for evolution.
So bringing your attention now into your heart space and the heart center,
If you want to touch the middle of your breastbone,
And then feel back.
And it's,
You know,
It's,
You can imagine the space right in front of your spine.
And it's in front of,
You know,
If you know your anatomy,
It's like T7,
T6,
Thoracic vertebra,
T6 or T7.
And as you come into that space,
Really all you want to do is inhale and exhale and feel.
And you get all the information you need just by bringing your attention there.
So emotional flavors,
They'll arise.
This is a place in many bodies that's protected,
That has some constriction around it.
And so if you feel constricted,
When I mention breathing into this space,
You might want to lie down,
Have some more support to breathe.
There's a quietness in the heart space,
Because what the heart is really good at doing is listening and being attentive.
And love energy isn't ambitious.
It's not a mind product.
It's not trying to create a form.
And it's also not an animal instinct.
It's not a material.
It's not trying to own anything.
So the love energy is basic familialness.
There's a quietness around belonging that when we feel comfortable,
We can receive into our hearts and we can express.
And so there's a subtlety,
But also a deep presence.
And the love energy that you feel might be anywhere from very subtle,
Very quiet to really encompassing,
Really warm,
Really big.
If there are questions in your heart,
If you're unsure of your own intent,
If you have guilt or if you have despondency or despair around something,
What I want you to do is notice that and give yourself the message that your pure being is goodness,
Which might be hard to believe,
But the pure being in you,
The basic instinct that you have is goodness.
You want to listen for that of contentment,
Of quietness,
Of,
Okay,
Things can just be simple.
It can just be about inclusion,
Belonging.
Meddling,
Allowing.
So then imagine that your heart energy can start to pour upwards into your head and simultaneously down into your pelvis.
And feel that the pelvic energy again is rooting down into the ground and that the ground is moving up back into the pelvis and that it can then rise to the heart and to the head.
So I want you to feel that your brain and your heart are relaxed and that they both feel on anchor all the way down to the ground and into the ground.
That you can be responsive to the earth plane,
This rootedness,
This groundedness.
You can be practical in your sentiment and in the way you use your mind.
It can be relevant to the time and the place that you're in.
And when you feel your heart,
There's the capacity to respond with compassion.
And when you feel your head,
There's the capacity for clear thinking,
For insight.
Feel your head energy as expanding and relaxed,
Not knowing.
What a lovely invitation.
You don't need to know anything.
All you need to do is relax and listen.
You might imagine all the space around you,
All the space into the edge of our atmosphere and beyond.
And you might say,
I'm open to receiving the most helpful suggestions.
Like,
I'm open for your guidance from the insight,
From the planetary star beings,
God,
Whatever you want to imagine,
Some kind of effervescence around you that can be inspiring and give you messages.
You're open for that information.
And then you want to connect your head to your heart energy and feel that that information needs to be useful here in the relational realm.
And so you want information that will help you become more loving and more comfortable in yourself so that you can receive love.
And that that information now wants to go all the way down into the pelvic center and into the ground so that you can be effective,
So that you're supported and manifesting.
And then feel the back part of your body.
And from your pelvic center,
Your heart center and your head center,
I want you to imagine streams of light flowing out of the back of your body and moving all the way back,
Back,
Back,
Back,
Back,
Back,
Back,
Like through all the walls and whatever structures might be there,
Just infinitely kind of extending back.
And through your head center,
I want you to imagine that this stream of light flowing back through your head center goes through the heads of anybody who's ever impacted you.
So this could be family,
Teachers,
Friends,
Mentors,
People you've never met,
Anyone who has somehow been a part of the foundation that you live your life from.
And I want you to imagine that this stream of light is mental clarity and mental healing and that it's moving through the skulls of all of these people into their craniums,
Into their brains,
And their brains are getting really relaxed and opening for insight.
And as they get relaxed and open for insight,
They're releasing any mental hold they have on you,
Which allows you to release any mental hold you have on them.
So this stream of light is traveling back through everybody's heads.
And then anyone that has a particular,
You know,
You're like,
Ah,
You taught me to think in this way and it's not how I want to think anymore.
I want you to imagine that whatever that cord is,
Is dissolving and that you're free of it on your end and that they're free of it on their end.
And it's just pure light kind of moving in the space between you.
And then I want you to feel into your heart center.
And from the heart center,
It's the same thing.
You're kind of reaching back.
And what I want you to feel in your heart center first is your own inclusion and your own okayness.
And so you might want to like call upon your idea of yourself as,
You know,
Your own best friend.
You might imagine yourself sitting next to yourself,
Giving you a big hug,
Going,
You're great.
You're fine.
And then through this energy that's streaming out of the back of your body,
It's moving into the hearts of all of your influences and their influences.
And in the same way that we did with thoughts,
There's a feeling here that you're infusing yourself and infusing all of them in your past with feeling equanimity,
Balance,
Peace in the heart.
There's okayness.
And if anyone has created a cord on your heart,
And this is an emotional manipulation or deep grief,
Feelings of remorse,
The emotional wounds that we keep between ourselves,
What I want you to do is imagine that the shape of that cord and then it kind of dissolves into this light.
And you feel there's,
You don't need to hold on to the feeling of it anymore.
It can dissolve all the way back into you and into your heart space.
And then it can dissolve any tension or blockages that it's been wrapping around your heart.
You want to just kind of feel them dissolve and open.
And the same to anyone that you're working with,
That you feel that this cord goes back into their being,
That it's just let go.
And in this,
There has to be a willingness that there's nothing to prove and there's no gain or outcome,
You know,
Getting your one up.
It just has to be let go.
And then we'll travel down into the pelvic center and it's the same thing.
So feeling the space of the pelvic center and light streaming back behind you.
And in the pelvic center,
Feeling your legs and feeling your connection down to the ground and imagining those connections for everyone in your foundation.
And here there's a remembering of your own entitlement.
You have a place here on earth.
You have agency.
And what you want to feel is your own capacity for desire and for repulsion,
Our animal instincts and your capacity to work intelligently with your desires and instincts.
And then as you extend your awareness back,
You're doing the same thing.
So there have been people in the past,
People in your formation that didn't use their desire bodies correctly.
And so there is now a cord to your body or they were repelling.
And so there's a cord to your body.
There's some kind of,
You know,
Feeling of being taken advantage of,
Feeling of being manipulated,
Feeling of being rejected,
Whatever that is that somehow creates instability in your right to be,
Your right to exist,
Your right to have your own desires,
Your own instincts.
You want to let those cords dissolve.
You don't need to carry on anyone else's ignorance and dis-ease.
And then you're going to let that dissolve back into them.
And you just,
You say like,
You deal with the fruits of your own actions or inactions.
It's not,
It's not up to you right now to resolve it for anybody else.
You want to feel it resolving in yourself.
If you have created pain for other people and you know that,
Then what you're doing right now is sending out energy that's healing,
That's generous,
That's apologetic and is also forgiving.
And it's saying like,
You know,
May you have everything that you need to heal and to integrate and to resolve.
And then feel that the front of your body is open.
So whatever position you're in,
You might just want to notice like,
How do I feel in the front of my body?
So I know I have to make an adjustment because I'm feeling a little constricted.
So if you need to make an adjustment,
Go ahead and make it.
And then feel that the front of your body is open.
You can even open your palms to the front.
You can investigate movement.
You can get real relaxed in the back of your body now.
And I want you to feel that from the front of your body,
There's also this disseminating.
And it's open and it's giving and it's also receiving.
And in the space in the front of your body,
You might imagine like a bay,
You know,
A body of water where the ocean comes in and it mixes with the river waters or something like that.
And so from your body,
There's a releasing of energy into the space in front of you and the space in front of you then come and interpermeates with your body.
And this is the future.
This is the unknown future that you don't know.
And so this time we'll start at the lower part of the body in the pelvic center and in the earth.
And feel that you have a capacity to create.
You can make forms on the earth.
You're a creative person.
You can create forms through decisions that you make,
Through what you invest your money in,
Through how you treat other people with literally what you create,
Gardens,
Objects,
Programs,
Code,
I don't know,
Whatever you do.
You're impacting the world no matter what it is that you do.
You're creating something.
And then I just want you to feel that connection to the earth.
So from your pelvic center root down into the earth and feel the earth come back into you.
And you might just have a sense of desire or aversion.
I definitely want to create these things.
Nope,
Don't want to create those other things.
And then let your pelvic center get infused with your heart and your head.
So you can imagine the heart pouring down,
The head pouring through the heart,
And then down through your belly and into your pelvic center.
And the prayer here is that whatever it is that you create,
You create through love and you create with clear thinking,
With good judgment,
With wisdom.
And then you feel how that would ripple out into the future.
And then bring your attention into your heart space.
And again,
There's an inclusion and acceptance in this space.
It's this simple capacity for love and tenderness.
And you want to feel that the earth and ground are pouring up through your pelvic center and into your heart.
And that whatever instincts that you have,
Which include fear and possession and aversion and strong desires,
Whatever instincts you have,
That they are discerning and empowered and also healthy.
And they serve the capacity for inclusion in your heart,
For love in your heart.
So there's not any conflict between your instincts and your sentiment.
And then we'll feel that the ground energy is coming up into the pelvic center,
Into the heart center,
And then flooding the head center.
And your head center is extending forward and your heart center is extending forward.
And you know that you'll have clear thinking because you're empathic.
You can connect,
You can feel.
And you're aware of your own instincts.
And you're aware of your groundedness,
The source of your power,
Which is your basic connection.
And the mind doesn't need to exert itself in dominance,
But it can listen and it can respond.
And it's supported through love and through a sense of belonging.
And then feel that your brain,
Again,
Is just open and it's relaxed.
You're feeling your basic connections and this larger sense of just unknowing.
But now there's some kind of what I hope is a container for you in the unknowing of there's the unknowing,
But there's also the capacity to trust your own choices.
There's the capacity to feel the body instinct,
The heart instinct,
And the mind instinct,
And to allow them to inform each other and to release them from any kind of twisted patterning that they have into the past.
And in doing this,
You might imagine how water kind of comes in at the beach and moves through the pebbles of sand.
And as you inhale and exhale,
You can bring that image in of just there's this gentle pulsation and mixing of awareness infusing the materials of your body.
And that the materials of your body have been shaped around long held emotional patterning and mental patterning and physical experiences.
And any deep adhesions or gripping or cords to the past or fears around the future,
Any of that sensation,
You just want to imagine it dissolving.
You can't make sense of it.
There's never going to be the chance,
The real ability to make sense of what has happened because it's instinct that's unexplainable mixed with emotional unreality,
Mixed with whatever the conviction was that the circumstances allowed.
There's so many moving pieces.
You can't explain what happened and you don't know what will happen.
And you want to feel in yourself that there is easefulness around your own capacity to absorb what has happened and to free yourself so that whatever does happen is ushered in from a space of love and peace and clarity.
So you can continue with this meditation and bring it into specific experiences.
So if you have some kind of deep wound pattern that you're aware of,
If you have a physical injury of some kind,
You're experiencing some kind of emotional upheaval.
What the invitation here is to do is to locate where in your body do you feel this way when you think of this story.
What gets activated in your body?
So you might notice something in your breath,
You might feel it in an organ or a joint space,
And then just go there with your attention and do the same process.
Give that place access to the ground.
Everything needs support.
My teacher Bonnie says,
Support precedes movement.
We need to know that we're supported before we can let go.
So if you have a place of wounding,
Find the support around it.
Give it access all the way down to the ground and then give it access into this mystery of unknown.
A lot of times around our wounds we think this is going to be forever and then we close down the unknown because we tell ourselves this is going to be forever,
But nothing is true forever.
Everything changes.
So around this space you just want to kind of open it up into space.
Who knows?
And then release it from its own past.
And the releasing is simple.
It's not an explaining and it's not deep process of something.
It's simply I release this.
And there will be probably layers and layers and layers of releasing that can be done.
Whatever is available to release now,
Allow it to dissolve.
And then there is a present awareness of the future that is this moment now.
So the future is being created by this moment now.
You don't know what it's going to be in 10 minutes.
You know what this second is and you're responding to this second and then that's unfolding into the future.
So from this place of healing you want to feel like this is the thing that's responding to the future.
Not the place of wounding,
But the place of healing.
So you can continue this practice specifically,
Locationally,
With any kind of memory,
With any kind of particular person.
Whatever it is,
Whatever the injury is,
You bring it into your mind space as an image.
Don't get into the story of it because that will produce a chemical response in your body that will bring you back to that event or to that situation.
But just call up the image.
Feel where it resonates in your body.
Stop yourself before you go into the story.
Don't get gripped on the sensation and start rambling in your mind.
But go deeply into the sensation and then give it access to support.
Give it access to possibility.
Help it to release whatever can get released so that it can open into responsiveness.
So in whatever way makes sense to you,
Either continue or start to make your preparations to close.
And how we're going to close is by calling everything back in.
So you've just put a lot of feelers out into your back body.
You've put a lot of feelers out into the front,
Up into the ethers,
Down into the ground,
Into the heart space.
And I want you to kind of imagine all of these kind of light streams that we've been imagining now start to come back in and until they get much closer to your body,
Just a couple of inches away.
And then I want you to imagine them all infusing each other so that there's just light around your body.
And that light is created by the forgiveness of your ancestors,
By their resolution,
By anybody that's influenced you,
Just feeling like they were good too.
Their basic instinct was good.
Maybe there was confusion.
Maybe there was denial of some kind,
But the basic instinct was good.
And that's the light that is around you right now.
None of the other stuff,
Just the goodness.
And that the future,
The basic instinct for the future is to be good.
This is what we all want,
Really.
It's what we're all working for.
And we all have different ideas about what that might be.
It's what the earth wants also.
We're all trying to find our way to be balanced in this crazy landscape of constantly shifting circumstances.
But there's goodness.
And so let that come in and surround you.
And feel the goodness that you're capable of.
And let that move out from your body and become part of this layer of light around you.
And then if it feels good to bring your hands together or to touch some place on your body.
And just give thanks.
And acknowledge the ending and the moving into whatever you're going to do next.
And this is a moment of complete practice.
And you just say,
Well,
Whatever came up that's ready for me to understand now,
Please help me to access it.
Whatever came up that I need to work with for a while,
Please help me to embrace it,
To include it.
And thanks for the opportunity to meditate in this way,
To feel ourselves in this way.
It's a real gift just to remember.
It's a busy time for a lot of people.
So I hope this was useful for you.
All right.
Much love.
And until the next time,
Bye for now.
