In this lesson, you'll try dropping your labels of "endings" or "beginnings" and instead seeing your greater timeline as a flow. This can help reduce the pain of thinking of an ending as hurtful, and instead seeing the flow into new experiences as something filled with growth. Give it a try.

Transcript

Today's idea is about endings and beginnings and I want you to think about that those things are just labels.

They're labels that we put on things.

So I can think about,

You know,

I used to live in Cleveland,

Ohio,

And now I live in Maryland.

And so,

Of course,

Our moving day was the end of living in Ohio.

But you know what?

It was also the beginning of living in Maryland.

So it really wasn't an end.

It was.

.

.

A movement a pause it was a transition from one thing to the other but it wasn't an end It was just like another chapter.

Okay,

So If I can take off the words ending and beginning,

And know that it's really was just a flow of my life from Cleveland to Maryland.

And startup of a lot of new experiences here.

It's a flow.

It's a bigger picture.

And life unfolding into being.

Is the thing that was happening.

So ends of relationships or ends of jobs or something always lead to beginnings.

Beginnings of some other part of your growth.

And so sometimes the word ending can be weighted with so much pain.

And I want you to just maybe consider today thinking of what have been labeled as endings in your mind that you can.

Let go of that label and see it as flowing into the next aspect,

The next chapter of what has been unfolding in your story.

Okay,

So take some time.

Think about a few,

One,

Two,

However many things that you have been thinking of as endings and see if you can loosen your grip on that and see it as the flow into the next thing.

All right,

That's your assignment today.

And I hope you enjoy it.

Try coming back to it whenever that's relevant for you during the day.

All right.

See you tomorrow.
