Neutralize Stories About Lack

It's possible that your thoughts about what you desire are paired with reasons it's not possible for you. These reasons are rooted in fear, but they are just stories. This lesson will help you notice when these stories of "not possible" are present, and give you a way to neutralize that negative belief.

Behind every desire for something lies some sort of belief about why you can't have it.

Oh,

That's going to be too hard,

Or I don't really deserve to have it so easy.

Or I'm not deserving of the all of this goodness that I would really like to have,

You know,

Some sort of belief that's underneath it about why you can't have that.

So as you think about something that you desire,

Think about the thing you desire,

What you really wish would happen.

And then see if you can find beneath it some story about why it's not going to happen or why it couldn't happen,

Or it would be difficult or whatever that story might be.

Okay,

This does require some introspection.

So take a little time with it.

Because as soon as you can identify that,

That's when you can go about releasing it.

And the barriers to having what you want will also dissolve,

Leaving you with all this potential for this story to come into being the story of the thing you want coming to being okay,

The good story.

Your desire manifesting in the world is what I'm talking about.

But we block them when we have this like background thought of why they shouldn't or can't be.

Because then we're having a conflict.

I want it,

But I shouldn't have it.

I want it.

I don't deserve to have it.

I want it.

I can't.

That's not going to inspire the universe to bring you anything because it's too confusing.

So what we want to do is notice,

Is there anything stopping me from believing that this is totally possible?

And if there is,

Let's look at that thing and say,

Oh,

You're just a story of lack.

You're probably trying,

You're probably full of fear,

Probably trying to protect me from disappointment or some other goal.

But I'm ready to let you go.

Or ready to release this and let it go.

It's up to you.

You have the power.

Okay.

Keep going.

You're doing great.
