This short lesson is a chance to put all of your roles and labels on break, and sink into the you who doesn't have to carry that all around, or put it on. You're on a break from that. And you can let them all drop, leaving only pure peace and presence. Give this a try. It can feel so freeing.

Now we're going to imagine that as actors,

We are done for the day.

Okay?

So,

Done for the season even.

Like done,

I played a whole series,

Played this role for a while,

And now I can just like take a break,

Like an actor who's done for the season can take a break and go back to being themselves,

Right?

I'm going to do that.

I'm going to imagine I was the actor playing whatever character I was playing,

And now I can let it go.

I can take a break.

I can go back to being myself,

And what does that mean?

Shedding all of the stuff that's been my baggage or my self-limiting beliefs or this character that I've been playing,

The one who's the victim or the one who's got to be in control or whatever those labels are,

Shedding all that and just being empty beingness.

I don't have to be anybody.

I don't have to be anything.

I don't have to put on a role right now.

I'm going to take a break and just go back into ease and flow and peace and relaxing.

This is a neat way to think about it.

I want you to try this for a few minutes.

Think about taking a break from all of your roles and all of your perceived identities,

The things that you've taken on as you,

And just taking them off.

I'm on break.

I don't have to do any of this.

I don't have to be any of that.

Sink into how that feels and just be in that space for a few minutes,

A few good minutes in the space of nothing to do,

Everything's done,

Nothing to be,

Except just here.

And just feel the burdens just like flopping off and landing on the floor.

Just feel it all drop,

Let it go and be in this space and explore it and just like allow it and just take some nice relaxing breaths,

Okay?

And own that for a while and step back into it a few times today if you can.

All right.

Have fun with this.
