My name is Robert Aceves,
And I welcome you to this meditation practice with Aum chanting to remove negative energy.
On this practice,
We'll be chanting the Aum mantra that has many benefits for our mental and physical health,
Such as reducing stress,
Calming the mind,
Removing negative energy,
Eliminating anxiety,
Helping us to relax more deeply by creating alpha waves and at the same time healing our physical body by strengthening our immune system,
As well as helping us to focus our attention on our body to reconnect with everything and the universal energy.
It is said that the sound produced by the Aum mantra is the sound of everything,
Or the sound of the universe,
And that this sound helps to create positive vibrations that cleanse the environment and the mind.
Also,
It is said that it has the power to make our entire body vibrate at this frequency,
Which has a calming effect and at the same time fills us with energy.
This practice can be done at the beginning of our day,
In the middle of the day,
To take a break,
Or at night to end our day.
Let's begin.
Put your body in a comfortable position to meditate,
Either on the floor,
Or on a cushion,
Or on a chair,
Preferably with your back straight and your hands on your thighs,
Or in a position that is comfortable for you.
Your shoulders relaxed,
And your chin parallel to the ground,
Your eyes between open and closed,
Without focusing on anything.
Take a few deep breaths to begin,
Inhaling and exhaling,
Staying like this for a few moments,
Focusing all your attention on your breath.
That's it.
We're going to practice chanting the Aum mantra.
When we meditate with a mantra,
We tune our body and mind to those vibrations and energies,
And the mantra becomes our meditation object,
As all our attention is focused on the sound and vibration.
The Aum mantra has the power to calm our nervous system,
Helping to relax the body and mind,
And creating very conducive conditions for physical and mental healing.
You can chant the mantra out loud or mentally,
But I invite you to try doing it out loud and feel its effects on you.
Let's sing it together for a few minutes,
Keeping your attention on the vibration and Now you don't have to do anything,
Allow your body to make the necessary adjustments to create the changes it deems necessary.
Observe how you feel,
How is your mind right now,
How does your body feel.
That's it.
Now you can think of three things that you are grateful for.
You may open your eyes.
