Hi there,
Little adventurers.
My name is Robert Aceves and I welcome you to this a fairy tale bedtime story,
The Magical Forest and the Family Values.
It's time to get cozy in bed and take a journey to a magical forest.
Let's begin.
Gently close your eyes and take a deep breath in and slowly let it out.
Let's relax our bodies and our minds as we start our adventure.
And there was a magical forest where all the animals lived by a special set of principles called the family values.
These values helped them live happily and harmoniously together.
One sunny day,
A little bunny named Bella woke up,
Stretched,
And remembered the first family value,
Take care of myself.
So she brushed her fur,
Making sure she was well-dressed and groomed,
And cleaned her paws because she wanted to have her body clean.
Bella hopped over to her friend,
Tommy the turtle.
They both enjoyed a healthy breakfast with fruit,
Vegetables,
And some milk.
This made them feel strong and ready for the day,
Following the family value to eat fruit,
Vegetables,
Meat,
Milk,
And eggs.
After eating,
They decided to take a short nap under a big oak tree because they knew it was important to rest very well.
As they continued their adventure,
They met Lucy,
The ladybug,
Who was feeling a little nervous.
Bella,
Remember the family value to sleep or eat when you're nervous?
So she offered Lucy a piece of an apple she had saved.
Lucy felt better and thanked Bella.
They then decided to visit Bella's burrow.
But first,
Bella helped her parents by collecting fresh grass and flowers for their home because she knew it's important to help my parents.
Inside her burrow,
Bella kept her space tidy because she liked to keep her space clean.
Tommy found a shiny pebble and wanted to take it home,
But Bella reminded him of the family value to not take without permission what is not mine.
As they continued their journey,
Bella and Tommy met Ollie,
The owl,
Who loved to read and learn.
They all sat together and learned new things from Ollie's stories because they wanted to be intelligent and skillful and learn new things every day.
While they were playing,
A mischievous squirrel threw an acorn at Bella.
Instead of getting upset,
Bella remembered the family value to hit only when they hit me,
And so she calmly asked the squirrel to stop.
Bella always believed in herself and her friends,
So she would believe only what I feel is true.
She also treated others kindly,
Following the family value to not do to others what I do not like them to do to me.
As the sun began to set,
Bella and her friends felt very happy and productive,
Having followed their family values throughout the day.
They knew they had done only what they were convinced was right and had not interrupted each other's communication,
Allowing everyone to share their thoughts and feelings.
Suddenly,
Bella heard a rustle in the bushes.
She bravely stood in front of her friends,
Ready to defend her family when they are in danger.
It was just the wind,
But she felt proud to be protective.
Before heading home,
They all made sure not to break or dirty anything that wasn't theirs and continue their activity of collecting leaves until it was completed,
Because they knew it's important to continue with an activity until completed.
As the stars twinkled in the sky,
Bella and her friends said goodnight and went to their cozy beds,
Feeling happy and peaceful.
They had followed their family values and had a wonderful day.
Now,
It's time for you to rest,
Little adventurers.
Remember,
Just like Bella and her friends,
You can follow your own family values every day.
You may also reflect on those family values that were mentioned in this story as you drift off to sleep.
By repeating this bedtime story every day,
You'll be reinforcing those family values in your own daily life.
Thank you so much for listening.
I'll talk to you soon.
Sweet dreams.
Rest and sleep.
