So I hope you are doing well today.
I'm going to be guiding you through a meditation which is about visualizing a future outcome.
So think about something that you really would like to change right now.
Perhaps this is a personal goal either on the inside world or on the outer world.
So keep that in mind as we begin the meditation.
So get yourself really comfortable,
As comfortable as you can be.
You can either be sat down,
Lying down,
And become aware of your breath.
Just start to notice how your breathing is moving in your stomach,
In your throat maybe,
Maybe in your nostrils.
Just become aware of the movement,
Of the breath.
And if your mind gets distracted to thoughts,
To-do lists,
Then just recognize that and let it go.
And gently come back to your breath.
And see if you can imagine all of the tension you have right now left in your body.
And imagine it going into a jar.
And you close the jar and imagine the jar just being buried into the floor.
You can come and get it later if you wish,
But for now put it to the side.
Now think of something in your life that you are grateful for.
Anything you can think of.
Everyone has something,
Right?
No matter how big or how small.
And as you breathe in,
Inhale the energy of your gratitude.
And as you breathe out,
Release anything that's not serving you right now.
Inhale energy.
Exhale release.
Inhale becoming aware of your existence.
And exhale releasing any last tension.
And now think of somebody in your life that you really love.
Imagine them in front of you.
Imagine what it's like to be with them.
As you inhale,
Take in the energy you get from them.
And as you exhale,
Release anything which needs to be released.
Inhale energy.
Exhale release.
Now bring your awareness to the thing that you'd like to change right now.
And imagine you can be transported to three years in the future.
And you can imagine everything has completely changed.
Everything you wanted has happened in the greatest possible way.
What would you be seeing on this day?
What would be happening?
What would be happening when you wake up on this day?
Imagine the goal has been achieved.
What would you be feeling inside your body?
What emotions come through?
Who would you be celebrating with?
How would you go to sleep at night?
Just feel all of the emotions of this day,
Three years in the future.
Everything you want is existing.
And now see if you can surrender completely.
Surrender yourself to that future.
And ask your future self to send you something to remind you in the present that this future is coming.
Ask your future self to ensure that you create this future.
Now bring yourself back to the present and think of one thing you can do this week which will move you towards this future.
What's one small baby step you can take and commit to?
To create everything you desire.
Notice how that makes you feel and allow yourself to feel that.
Now see if you can surrender all control now to a higher power.
This can be whatever you believe it is.
The thing that allows you to fall asleep.
The thing that allows nature to grow around us.
The thing that connects all life together.
Surrender and give thanks to this higher power.
Now prepare yourself to come back into your body if you're ready to do so.
Otherwise you can continue and stay here.
But if you're ready to come back then gently move your toes.
And then move your fingers a little.
And perhaps take a stretch.
And when you're ready gently open your eyes.
And perhaps take some time to reflect and write down what you came up with and how this experience was for you.
