So this meditation is for anyone who is really feeling trapped by their thoughts feeling like it's getting too much and there's just this bundle of stress So when you're ready,
Get into a comfortable space and this could be seated,
This could be lying down,
Whatever you prefer and once you're there,
Just let your body completely sink as if you're melting into the ground and use the breath to help you do so So as you breathe in,
Feel yourself in this moment and as you breathe out,
Feel yourself dissolving into the floor Breathing in,
You are here,
Alive in this moment Breathing out,
You dissolve into the floor Breathing in,
Alive,
Present Breathing out,
Dissolving into the floor and let yourself have permission to let go of everything Let go of needing to do anything and start to follow the breath Not trying to change it in any way Just watch what it does to you Feel how your body moves when you breathe in Perhaps the belly rising Perhaps you feel the air come in to your nostrils and out of your nostrils See if you can become aware of the temperature of the air Perhaps coming in as cool air and leaving as slightly warmer air See if you can follow the breath all the way from your nostrils down into your stomach and then back out your stomach and out of your nostrils See if you can follow this journey that the breath goes on from being cool to being warm and then back out your stomach and if at any moment you're distracted by thoughts then that's okay Congratulate yourself for becoming aware of that and just bring your attention gently back towards the breathing It's almost like clouds passing by with each in and out breath In each moment you're just watching with nothing to do but watch See if you can bring your attention to the whole body now Bring attention to the whole body The body with the breath The breath with the body and when you're ready start to become aware of the physical environment around you and gently open your eyes
