So first question before we begin this session on chakras.

I'm okay with silence.

Sometimes they say something and I'll just stare back at them.
I'll just stare and wait and then more deep stuff will come out eventually.

I can feel some of them but others are more vague.
Okay interesting.
How to see this on other people and not just on myself.
Okay interesting.
Alright thanks guys.
What I'm going to start with is for us to do a short meditation together.
Five minutes.
Just checking in and feeling into our space.
So whatever you're doing just get yourself present.
You might have had a busy day or you might be having a busy day later.
But just for this moment give yourself this time.
And start feeling into your breath.
Not trying to do anything with it.
Not trying to slow it down.
Just let it be how it is.
You don't even need to close your eyes if you don't want.
But you can if you do want.
Just listen to the breath.
Feel the air coming in.
Cool perhaps.
And leaving warm.
All of its own.
You may be having some thoughts.
But that's okay.
Just come back to the breath.
Keep coming back.
Home to yourself.
Okay.
That's all.
Come back.
So you see sometimes I do meditations like that.
Sometimes I do tell people to control their breath and slow it down.
You know there's different ways to do this.
If you went to a Zen monastery they will say don't control your breath.
Let it be.
Yogic practice is a lot of breath control.
But eventually they also say let it be.
Right.
That's what meditation is.
So it's great to play with different modes.
I personally was completely on this path of like controlling my breath using pranayama techniques.
That was exciting because it gave me this amazing rush of energy.
It was flooding my system with breath.
It was beautiful.
I still do that sometimes.
I'm still doing that.
But eventually you have to surrender and do nothing.
And that's the job of the last chakra.
So I'm framing it up for you nicely.
The job of the last chakra is surrender.
And you can call them names if you wish.
If that's useful you can use the crown chakra.
If that's useful and I'm being very conscious when I say that because sometimes it can become this like too heady.
It can be like oh my crown chakra my anahata.
You can use the words,
The Indian words if you want,
For heart.
But you don't necessarily need to know all of the like theory behind it and the language.
All you need to know is the experience.
You just need to know what it represents and how to live by it.
You don't need to know the colors.
You don't need to know which scent to use.
It's not a doing doing doing by the book.
And I really want to get that point across here today.
It's not a by the book type of thing.
It can't be.
Chakras are not like that.
It's a system.
It's an experience that we have.
So before I dive into each of them,
Here's one example that will connect to all of you.
Confidence.
Your ability to speak your word.
That's a energetic experience.
That's coming from the wisdom of the chakras ultimately.
And there's not one specific chakra that does confidence.
You know that's the other thing I see a lot.
It's like hey this is for this.
This is for exactly this.
This is for exactly that.
Yeah they do have their value.
Each of them.
And again I'll go into that in a moment.
But connected is a system that connects with each other.
It's like I have an arm but my arm needs the torso.
It needs the middle part of me.
I have a head but I've also got this other stuff right.
If I turn around like this it's not just like my waist which is turning.
A lot is happening at the same time.
That's what the chakra system is.
It's a system.
It's one system.
It's one system with different components.
So that's the first thing I want to start with.
If you get that first and you remember this whenever you're thinking about chakras that's going to take you far in itself.
If you think about it as being this one thing that works together.
Let me know your thoughts as I speak by the way.
Just feel free to throw things in the chat.
I want to see like what's vibing with you.
What's not.
And what's not is also okay.
Right.
Or what am I not explaining clearly enough.
Feel free to just throw things in the chat.
Because ultimately the way I like to run sessions and coach people is to help them to gain the experience.
So you can experience this for yourself.
That's what it was for me.
I had I had experiences of this.
I didn't know what this was.
And I'll tell you about that in a second.
And I know I keep saying I'm going to say this and I say this in a second.
But all of this is this part is useful to explain that it's an experience.
So how did it start for me.
I didn't know what the hell this chakra thing was.
I used to see people talking about it.
And I used to think this was like this fluffy imaginary thing.
I used to think that this was like some kind of witchery or whatever.
Right.
So I wasn't interested.
I just was not interested.
I didn't think I needed to know this.
I was like I don't need to do that.
I stepped into my first yoga class.
I always say the same story.
I stepped into the class because this pretty girl was like Raj come to this class.
You should try it out.
You're a big muscular guy.
You'll be you'll become flexible.
And I was like yeah I need some of that.
And you're going as well.
So sure I'll come.
So I went to this first yoga class.
Didn't want to go.
I was just going for the possible physical benefits.
And then the the girl as well.
Right.
Started going and I continued going.
And then I felt this tingling going through my body because I had lived as an anxious person throughout my whole life.
Like fight or flight.
Lift heavy weights.
Run.
I was just on all the time.
And I was only on because I had so much anxiety in me that my body needed to do stuff all the time.
So when I started practicing yoga this was about eight years ago now I think seven or eight years ago.
I felt this tingling in my forehead after a few like some weeks because the yoga teacher was so good.
Even now I still think she's so good because she taught things.
She taught us the experiences how to use our breath.
She told us yoga is not yoga if you're not breathing in sync with your movement.
She drummed that into me.
So since then that's how I've been practicing.
It's gymnastics.
If there is not not a deeper experience and you're not using your breath it's gymnastics.
That's what she used to say.
And I didn't understand it but I was like OK I'll just listen to you.
Let me just do this.
So with that I had a deeper experience from yoga which slowed down my whole body.
So I started feeling this tingling in my forehead right here.
And I was like what the hell is this.
This is like what the hell is going on inside here.
I asked her and she didn't give me a straight answer.
Maybe she did that on purpose.
I don't know.
She was like it's your opening up.
And I was I was like what the hell do you mean energy opening up.
And that's it.
And I was just like OK cool.
I didn't take much notice.
So I just continue and I thought this tingling was just me feeling relaxed right.
I thought OK I'm just relaxing.
It's nice.
It's nice to feel this tingling.
It was like a gentle massage.
Little did I know back then.
I didn't really know for a while.
There's this third eye thing over here.
So that continued to happen for a while.
And I didn't really get into yoga that much.
I just continued the practice right.
I ended up doing it at home on my own.
Became a bit more of a routine.
And then more things started occurring for me.
I started saying yes to life.
When people would invite me to places because I was socially anxious I would say no as a default.
So I was saying yes to things.
It was like I was feeling this thing that I spoke about earlier right.
I was like yeah OK why not.
I'll go for a bit.
It's not fun.
I'll just leave.
Oh cool.
Yeah.
And then more things started.
It's like this story.
My taste in food started changing.
People.
Taste in people started changing.
Actually I started exploring more.
I started feeling this aliveness inside me.
And then I was practicing more things like Kundalini yoga.
More about the breath.
More about the life force the energy.
That's when it really kicked off.
And I was like I'm interested in chakras.
Because it seems to be that this whole life energy this spark inside of me is this system.
So with that said I got deeper and deeper.
And I felt this like surging of energy down low right in those lower parts of my body.
And it started like getting stronger and more powerful.
So I thought yeah I'm more powerful I can lift heavier weights.
That's how I saw it.
I was like yeah this thing is like making me stronger.
And I felt this like surge of this warrior mode.
I was already in warrior mode but it was like more.
My stamina with exercise became better.
I became shredded in terms of like look and feel.
I didn't again I didn't know it at the time like what all this yoga stuff was doing.
It was deciding really.
Then I had this idea to go and travel the world.
It was there for a while let's just say.
Even before I started yoga.
There was no way I would have done it.
And even when I was thinking to do it I had fear.
I was fear ridden.
Long story short and this is really long story short I ended up going and traveling after worrying what will people say like who the hell does this.
This is strange.
All these fears.
And opened up more of myself expressed myself more into the world.
I was still blocked up though.
It wasn't like oh cool you go and travel and you find yourself and everything changes in your life.
Wherever you go there you are.
Yes it was an amazing experience.
It opened up things for me.
It was it was great.
But I came back and then I was like oh now what.
So I got into yoga even more so.
Into the breath practice even more so.
Wanted to know everything about it.
I was like a mad scientist.
Everyday exploring trying things.
Let me try this.
Let me try.
What if I do this.
What if I do that.
What if I breathe like this.
What if I do that.
Continuous experiments.
And that surging energy I was talking about before just got stronger and stronger like a volcano was wanting to erupt out of me.
What I didn't know at the time was that was the sacral chakra.
That was the life force.
You know people talk about Kundalini awakening.
And again I'm not precious to language by the way.
I don't have to use that language to describe what this is.
I'd rather just talk about the experience and not put a label on it.
So it felt like something was just exploding.
It started surging and surging.
And then all this stuff of like all these fears and doubts started becoming amplified now.
I didn't even know about this stuff before.
I didn't know I had fears and doubts like to this level.
I knew I had it on the surface.
I was like social anxiety.
I'm an anxious person.
I'm this I'm that.
But then the past started coming into my awareness.
I went deeper and deeper and figured out like I had more awareness let's just say.
I realized that all this stuff was there because when I was younger I had fear of abandonment.
Fear of not actually being loved.
And all these memories started flashing into my head.
Started crying over and over.
I was there was like months where I was just crying.
It's crazy because it was all being uncovered now.
When the chakras start to open things start showing up in front of you.
You face that stuff.
And then eventually and I'm going to make the story a bit faster now let's just say.
Eventually I started working on the heart area.
And that's when something massively changed.
Massively.
Feeling love.
You know it's Valentine's Day.
Yeah so I guess it's a great coincidence.
Feeling what love really is.
For that part of me that I rejected.
I rejected.
I could say someone rejected me.
Someone created this rejection story in me.
I can play that card if I want but that doesn't help me.
I created this.
This is my stuff.
No more blame games.
The blame game is the reason why stuff stays stuck.
Why energy stays stuck.
Resentment.
This is mine.
I rejected me.
So as soon as I realized I rejected me I had to go and love that part again.
Reconnect to that part.
Bring it back home.
Then my heart opened even more.
Started loving everyone.
Don't care what someone's done to me.
I love you too.
I had to literally love everyone.
And since then I spent a lot of my life comparing myself against everyone.
And I'd be so insecure about stuff.
I'd look at someone and say why can't I be like that.
That was all because my heart was closed and I was defensive.
So I can't compare myself anymore.
It's actually you know I'm not pretending.
I just can't.
I can see someone doing something now and I'm just like oh cool that's so nice for them.
I can be in their shoes literally.
Not even pretending to be in their shoes.
I can feel wow that's so cool.
Whereas for most of my life I was just like finding holes in people's stories.
Finding flaws like oh they're doing this because of this or this and this and this.
To find the flaws in people.
Because that's who I was right.
I was like well I'm flawed so someone else has flaws as well.
Digging and looking around for them.
Someone help me.
So heart opens and then throat opens.
And throat is confidence speaking outwardly.
Throat is the energy from down below rising up coming out into the world.
That's confidence.
It's not an act.
It's just coming in.
It's just coming through.
I don't plan what I'm going to say in these sessions.
It's just coming out of me.
So I'm not saying I'm a finished article.
I think there's layers and levels of these chakras.
I can develop them.
Get stronger and better each every few weeks,
Every few months,
Every year.
But now I really understand them.
I think it's honestly it's the life.
It's the tools for life.
It's not like nice to have and cute stuff that people make it out to be on the internet.
It's not this cute like get this colorful thing and yeah anyway.
The reason why I say that is because this is serious for me.
This is something that's important.
I'm passionate about.
I don't want to see it in that way.
I don't want to see it with all the fluffiness around it.
It doesn't make sense.
It's making a joke things.
So I'm going to pause there for now and let me know what your thoughts are and I'm going to go through and tell you a bit more about this in a moment.

And by the way,
You don't have to spend eight years doing yoga to do this.
That's the thing I want to make clear.
I was I didn't know what the hell I was doing.
Not one bit.
And I was too scared to help get to tell anyone about this.
Even just telling a person as a man that I'm I don't know there was this all these blocks.
So I couldn't tell anyone.
I was just doing it all on my own.
So I want to make that clear because there's you don't have to do it the way I did.
Let's just say and I guess that's why I'm here to show people there's a this smart way this let's just say.

What's useful so far after hearing a bit about my journey?

So I'll wait to say some I'm not sure about that,
I'll be honest.
And but there are food things that can support.
So that's definitely a part of it.
So I'll go into that as well in a moment.
Bananas are just good for you,
Right?
It's just common sense.
Eat some bananas.
It doesn't have to be eat some bananas for this thing.
So leplexa,

Greens are good for you.
Doesn't mean you eat some greens because this apparently represents the heart chakra.
Just eat them,
Right?
And again,
Like I've gone down the rabbit hole of this,
I've bought and I bought every single supplement green herbal supplement.
I've taken all this all the things all the herbal pills and remedies and all of that stuff.
Some to some extent is useful.
It is.
But when it becomes like this is this is the thing that's going to change everything CD which it was for me,
Then now it turns into a problem,
Right?
It becomes your mind is ruling this.
Your mind is doing this stuff.
That's all it was for me.

Now to how to activate the chakras if body is numb from trauma.
When you say the body is numb from trauma,

All right,
I'm gonna I'm gonna go into the chakras a bit more.
I'll give you a whistle stop tour first.
And then I'm going to come back to these questions.
That's what I'm thinking right now.
So yes,

I've had to do that too.

Right?

I've had to find my tribe,

I don't want to go and talk to this stuff about people who are not into this.

Is that to me or is that someone else?
I'm not sure.
So,
Okay,
Nitz says you're asking about the fear outs because you said they had deepened and showed up as you had to face them.
Yes.
Okay,
So let me just go into that actually right now.
There's a lot of things we're unconscious about.
We're unconscious of.
I didn't know that I had challenges.
I just thought I had this thing,
Diagnosis called social anxiety or anxiety disorder.
Right?
I can look at it like that and say,
I've got anxiety disorder.
I must go to doctor.
Doctor,
Any pills,
Pills make me okay.
Good.
Great.
Raj.
I can see it like that.
To that basic level,
I can just be like,
This is what's happened to me.
And that's the end of the story.
I'm born this way.
That's how I felt.
I was looking up pills.
I went to a psychotherapist and I was like,
Oh,
They would,
You know,
I was just,
I was just labeling it and that was it.
End of story.
Whereas when my awareness was like this,
Like this door opened and I was like,
Oh,
Oh,
Wow.
Like,
I,
Ah,
Okay.
So this happened because this is happening,
Sorry,
Because I'm scared of being rejected and I'm scared that I'll never be loved and all of this other stuff.
Right?
And it's not like,
Oh,
Look at me.
Poor me.
Cause that's,
That's where it can go sometimes.
And a person can become consumed by that poor me story.
Then there's no movement.
Now it's just poor me.
I'm here and that's it.
Now you know about why this is happening.
Poor me and the end of it.
That's why sometimes I don't know.
I'm not sure about therapy in the traditional way because it stays.
You're,
You're just there and that's it.
Oh,
This is what's happened.
Let's talk about it.
Let's make you feel okay with what's happened.
And I said,
You're this,
You're the victim of what's happened and end of story.
So for me,
It's more about moving on from that,
Going beyond the story,
The psychology.
We're more than psychology.
We are energy as well.
We're spirit.
It's a,
It's a fact actually.
A scientist will tell you this too.
We're energy as well.
There's something more than that,
Than the,
Than the mind.
Right?
So back to your comment and it's yeah,
When I was realizing all this stuff,
I was crumbling.
I was like,
Oh my God,
Like this is what's happened to me.
I was getting stuck in the psychology,
The,
The things about this has happened to me.
This has happened to me.
I was stuck in that.
And then I was analyzing it with theories and reading books of like psychological this,
Psychological that,
Trauma this,
Trauma that.
So now I was like,
Oh yeah,
This is what I am.
I'm a result of this.
So that level of awareness is good to start with,
To understand it.
But rising above it is a different game because now I had to feel all that pain and then I had to,
Then what?
Like that's why I was,
There were so many tears.
So I was like,
Oh my God,
I've learned these things that I wish I never knew now.
I wish I never knew this stuff.
So a lot of people are scared to go into their minds because it's,
We don't want to know what's down there.
So that's what,
That's what created more fear for me.
And I actually had to work with someone.
So I worked with a person who is,
She calls herself a,
Well,
I call her a,
Let's just say,
I had to work with her and figure out what the hell is going on with me.
And she didn't work with me in the way of like,
Let's keep stuck.
It's like,
This is what's happening.
This is what you've experienced.
Your energy,
Your energy is blocked.
So let's move forward from there.
So it's a,
It's a big topic.
This is a huge one because it's the keys to everything.
So let me give you a rundown of the chakras.
Cause I said I would do that.
I'm just going to run through a whistle to stop tour right now.
I'll tell you why it's the keys to the city.
The first chakra,
The root chakra,
It's our connection to our physical self.
Root means earth.
So it's root,
Right?
Root means earth.
It's the connection to our physical being.
Other people might explain it differently,
But this is my,
This,
This is my,
My way to explain it,
Right?
Through my experience of it.
It's the connection to the physical being.
So this is why this whole thing about safety comes up,
Not feeling safe.
Because if there's this,
This like challenge of not feeling safe,
Then you think you're under physical danger.
If somebody says something to you,
Your,
Your whole,
Your,
Your chakra fires up and it's like,
I'm under physical danger.
I'm going to get angry or whatever else response,
Right?
It could be a different response.
This is where the mind lives.
Let's just say where the mind connects to the physical nature under threat survival connects to your legs.
They say,
They say that animals are mostly in this part,
Right?
Mostly are they living with this mode that we have from the root chakra because it makes sense,
Doesn't it?
It makes a lot of sense.
It's logical,
Physical danger.
That's the first one.
Let me move on from that.
Well,
Not move on.
Let me tell you something more.
If you can ground yourself and slow your body down,
Slow down that feeling of threat,
Then you will have this base,
This foundation now.
So whatever you got to do to do that,
That's,
That's what I had to do.
I had to do a ton of this because I felt like I was under threat all the time.
I was in flight or flight mode,
Right?
My physical danger,
Just walking into a meeting,
I was under physical danger.
I used to sweat like crazy and,
You know,
Just under this mode of like,
I'm in danger,
Tense.
My whole body was tense.
As soon as I slowed my body down and worked with like,
What the hell is doing this?
I realized I'm not under danger.
That's the first one.
Work with your relationship to physical danger.
First chakra.
And is I call it the creative source.
Other people might say sacral chakra.
I don't know why that I don't like that name.
It's not very fun for me to say.
It's not very fun.
Because like I said,
This is an experience.
What do I feel down there?
Oh,
It feels like a creative source.
Okay,
Great.
Yeah.
That's what it is for me.
Creative source.
And even if you look at those parts,
Where it's located,
It's located where we can create children from,
Right?
We have parts,
Physical parts that can create other humans.
So look again,
Physical,
Right?
It makes sense.
Creative source.
This is our power to create things in the world.
Things like your ideas you have is coming from there.
If you're blocked off here,
Then life becomes like this mechanical process of logic alone.
That's not fun.
You know,
If you don't have enough creative energy,
Life is like,
Hey,
I have to walk outside.
I got to put my coat on.
Oh,
It's cold.
Oh,
It's raining.
So I won't go.
It's mechanical now.
It's like,
Let me do this.
And let me analyze that.
Let me use my thinking for everything.
Again,
Where I was,
I had tons of blocks in this area,
Riddled with it.
I don't think I ever enjoyed music or enjoyed art.
None of that stuff.
As soon as this opened up,
I started looking at plants and touching them and going,
Oh,
Wow,
This is so nice.
It's like I was stoned constantly.
And basically I still am.
Because if you see life in this source of creativity,
You hear music different,
You taste things different.
So that's the creative source.
Chakra number two.
Number three is the core.
That's what I call it.
Other people will say the Manipuri.
They might say Manipuri.
They might use the Indian word.
Or they might say solar plexus.
My solar plexus,
Something here.
And that's okay.
You can use whatever language you prefer,
Right?
I just say core.
Because that feels strong to me.
I know what my core is.
This is the strength.
This is the power,
The fuel source.
Imagine you had like one of those battery packs.
That's what this is.
And look,
Again,
Logical.
Food goes down there.
We have a stomach organ.
Oh,
No,
It makes sense.
Cool.
Like,
Oh,
We have an organ that puts food in.
It makes sense that this is the source of our fuel,
Right?
So now this is where foods do matter.
I'm not going to say go eat a banana or different colored things.
That's where people take this too far.
And they're using their minds rather than their experience.
I'm saying eat food that is real food.
That's the simplest way to think about it.
If something is in a packet and says the ingredient has 20 things on it,
How can that be food,
Right?
It can't.
Again,
It's common sense.
That's the way I like to do all of this.
To just think what is food?
Food is something that is like,
Oh,
It has one ingredient.
Banana.
Oh,
It's just a banana.
Oh,
Cool.
Yeah.
Almond.
Oh,
It's just an almond.
Oh,
Cool.
Yeah,
That fits in with what I want to eat.
That's just how that's the simplest way I'm doing this.
And again,
I'm not saying this is easy.
I'm not saying it's easy to eat healthy and be like this health machine.
I'm not saying everything has to be perfect.
I'm just saying like have some care,
You know.
It's okay to eat desserts and stuff like that,
Whatever.
But remember,
This is your fuel source,
Your strength,
Your power.
That's what this third chakra is.
The fire in your belly,
We say,
Right?
That saying is there for a reason because even if you think about that,
I've got this fire in my belly.
I even feel it right now.
I feel that fire coming in.
Can you?
I don't know.
Try it.
See if you can feel a fire in your belly.
When there's good food going into you,
You feel this like gusto for life.
People wonder,
Raj,
How are you so energized?
Because there's this fire inside me.
I'm on flames.
When this is blocked,
When there's challenges in this area,
These fire flames start being pointed in ways that are not useful,
Like shouting at someone or doing like madness with this fire.
Right?
And this happened to me.
I've been very snappy with people.
I've just been like just quick anger.
And it could still show up for me.
Like I said,
I'm not perfect.
If something's going on,
There's so much going on and my consciousness is down and I'm not in the right place,
Then yeah,
I'll be snappy like everyone else.
But that's what can happen here.
You know what's great about the third chakra though is that it's a launch pad.
Once you have the fuel,
It's a launch pad for the next ones.
This is where we say that you go from being a physical and mind entity to a spiritual.
Because now the launch pad of this chakra,
You can go to the heart.
The heart,
When my heart opened,
Even now when I'm having these heart opening experiences is the most beautiful thing ever.
Because you know,
I was saying about how I was looking at plants the other day and I still do sometimes or listening to birds sing.
I do that quite a lot.
I'm just in love with the birds.
Quite literally.
Just like,
Oh my God,
These birds are so cool.
I'm sure you guys have felt this way.
This is not like some thing that is unreachable.
All these things I'm talking about are an experience that we all have.
This isn't a yogi in a mountain type of thing.
This is all just our life.
Simply this is our life.
The potential,
Let's say.
So when there's blocks in the heart chakra,
It's quite literally like if I was going to go like this,
You know,
You see someone who's very serious and they're crossing their arms like they're talking to you like this.
They're not very engaged most of the time,
Right?
That's what's happening when we're blocked off.
We're closed off.
We think that someone's going to do something to us.
We don't want to let anyone in there.
Because it's where all the gold is,
Right?
Nothing comes in and nothing goes out then.
That's the challenge.
I hear this thing about we need boundaries.
I need boundaries.
I need boundaries.
A lot of people say that to me.
And I get that.
I need boundaries as well,
Right?
There's certain points.
You know,
I can't be available to every person constantly all day long.
I have to have a way where I can be at my best to support everyone in the best way.
So that's a healthy boundary,
Right?
That's like a boundary coming from my soul.
But the other form of boundary is like closing off.
I've got to close off.
I've got to have this guard up.
So again,
Nothing comes in and nothing comes out.
It's set by the mind,
The psychology,
The fears of set that.
And again,
I had tons of these,
All of these.
Can let anyone in.
I'm still working on this as well.
It's these fears that someone might do something or something bad might happen through thought that occurs.
Combined with the psychology of what might have happened when we were younger.
When we were younger,
We were free.
Our heart was,
You know,
You see a little kid and for example,
My nephew,
If someone hurts themselves,
They'd say,
Are you okay?
And he'll generally just,
It blows my mind how much he's saying that with love.
They're full of love.
But then we learn things throughout our life,
Which start changing us and our priorities change and we have to be better than people and we have to do this and that all of this stuff,
Right?
Someone,
We have a relationship that goes wrong.
So now we think everyone's like that.
And again,
This is natural.
I'm not saying this is not judging anyone.
I'm not saying this is bad.
It's the experience of life is our responsibility to work consciously with that,
To open up the heart,
The possibilities that could occur when we like this,
You know,
This is a sign.
If you are a warrior back in the day,
You don't want to be doing this because someone can just shoot an arrow right there and kill you.
So no wonder it's so challenging to open our heart,
Right?
Because it feels like we could get shot.
So it's just natural going like this.
I could get shot right now.
Nothing's protecting me.
So again,
It comes down to when is the mind doing this automatically in unfavorable conditions.
When your heart does open,
Beautiful stuff can happen.
It's like a magnet.
That's the way I see it.
So that's what's happened to me.
It's like you become magnetic.
You glow with energy.
There's just this glow about you afterwards.
So that's the heart.
I'm going to move on now.
And you can see that how much I love that one.
The throat.
Quite literally,
We speak through this thing,
Right?
It turns our energy into a sound outwardly.
Like in the actual reality of it,
It's this kind of like weird mechanism of I'm sitting here.
And then this sound moves through me and comes out.
So when the throat chakra opens,
That expression comes from underneath and out.
Comes from an embodied expression.
It's fluid.
So that's why we think,
Yeah,
There's one type of confidence,
Which is like someone's prepared so much and they've thought about what they're going to say.
And they're thinking and you know what I mean,
Right?
That's one type.
But the other type is just fluid.
It's just coming out.
And we sometimes say people are naturally confident.
I wasn't for sure.
No way.
I couldn't speak to one person.
I was like sitting there,
Like worried that they're going to judge me and I'd be playing with something and pretending to try and get the attention of myself.
I'd be like hunched over a little bit.
I wouldn't make eye contact ever.
So this is a process.
Everything that happened to me is changed.
So it shows defo doesn't matter.
Yeah,
I still have some of these tendencies.
Again,
It still comes up sometimes.
The mind is still there.
I haven't destroyed it.
It still comes up.
But I'll notice it and I'll say,
Oh,
Hmm.
Oh,
Interesting.
Oh,
Cool.
Oh,
Well,
Let me change it now.
Okay,
Cool.
I can shift this.
So it's just the that comes through,
Right?
When we're thinking,
We're not when we're when our throat chakra is not open.
We're trying to communicate from our mind,
From our thinking,
The easiest way I can describe it.
And know how people talk about this.
This is this is what I believe.
When it's coming from the mind,
And we're trying,
We're like,
Thinking of what to say,
Thinking so much about what to say,
When we're stuck,
And we don't know what to say.
When someone says something to us,
And we like frozen for a moment.
It's coming from thinking,
The expression from the voice.
So sometimes someone won't speak as confidently,
Right?
Because they're they're nervous.
I was I was nervous.
I was sweating.
Anytime I had to talk to people.
They'll be like,
Why?
Why are you sweating?
And I stay tissue around,
Because I had to pretend hot.
Oh,
I'm just I just,
I'm just naturally a hot person.
You know,
You know,
I used to say that to people.
That's my line.
I'm just naturally a hot person.
I sweat a lot.
Oh,
Cool.
Okay,
Cool.
Yeah.
That makes sense.
I have the hook for that.
Right.
So many clever little,
Little like techniques I had to try and avoid shame.
But it's all because I was thinking,
And then thinking of what to say.
So I couldn't speak.
And no voice basically.
But when you can speak,
When you're speaking through your body,
Your body,
That's when people get these weird hand movements.
And you've probably seen me do this a lot.
It's because it's just it's just doing it on his own,
Right?
It's just the it's the expression of my energy coming out,
Not just through my voice and through my hands and my smile and everything.
So when this that's what this throat chakra represents,
This ability to express what's inside out into the world.
Next chakra is the third eye.
So like I said,
This started for me first.
And I might tell you why in a moment,
But it basically represents your wisdom,
Your clear thinking.
It's not even like psychological based thinking anymore.
It's like wisdom coming through this intelligence that is not just based on everything you've learned.
It's just this knowing,
You know,
People say this thing about intuition.
It's a it's a great topic.
And I'm not going to go too much into it actually.
But let's just say it's a knowing versus knowledge.
Knowing is when you're just clear.
You just know knowledge is based on facts and analysis.
For example,
Get two different jobs of top offers.
This happened to my sister actually.
So I use this example sometimes.
One was like paying so much more.
And it had all these benefits.
One was not paying much at all.
There was just something inside her that just knew that I want to go for this one.
But on paper,
This one's much more better.
Right?
You know that dilemma?
I've had many of those.
I still have them sometimes.
Right.
The dilemma of like indecision.
It's intuition versus knowledge.
Knowledge is not that useful to run someone's life.
It's useful for certain things,
But it's not useful to run your entire life off.
How miserable would life be then if we used all we use knowledge for everything.
Right.
And I did that too as well,
By the way.
I collected information everywhere.
I was searching forums all day long.
It was useful to an extent,
But it was taking me away from finding my own wisdom.
Finally,
I want to move on now.
Finally,
The last chakra is surrender.
I'm just going to call it surrender chakra.
There's all sorts that we can say about this.
We can say this is our connection to the divine.
That's also how I experience it as well.
Because there's only so much that you can do in life.
Right.
You can do so many things.
You can do all this stuff with these chakras.
There's only so much you can do though.
You need something else to let go to.
You need to connect with something beyond yourself.
Something divine,
God,
Universe,
Whatever whatever you want to call this thing.
Energy.
Just this is why people go to churches and religious places.
I genuinely believe that now.
I'm going to these religious places now just to like watch people and just see how they interact.
They're going to let go of their mind,
Of everything.
You can believe in a God,
But that's just an act of saying,
Hey,
There's something bigger than me.
Right.
That's what it is.
Something bigger than me.
And I definitely believe there's something bigger than us.
I don't know if I call that God.
I don't know.
But there is something bigger for sure.
If we think that there's just this and other people,
Life's not as fun.
And because why would anyone ever do anything like going into the unknown or doing something out of the ordinary?
You wouldn't do it if you didn't have some kind of faith.
So that's all the chakras.
The whistle stopped at all.

I'd rather you become wiser,

What are the real challenges?
And then we'll go into the how of what to do.
So,
Kers says it makes a lot of sense.
Yeah,
Speak with your heart.
Speak with your body.
Put your body into things.
The mind is great at calculating stuff.
It's great for a storage cabinet of information.
Awesome for that.
And yeah,
I need that as well,
Right?
I'm not trying to get rid of this mind.
I don't want to get rid of it.
It's a beautiful thing.
But it's just knowing how and when to use it.
Other times I need to go into the body,
Into the wisdom of these chakras.
Traditionally this would be studied with yogis and lived with lived experience that helped transmit.
Yeah.
Yeah,
This is my mad experiment that I've had for a long time.
And when I do read books,
I do read a lot of books as well.
By the way,
I'm not saying that I this is all been through experimentation,
But the books have only ever been to confirm the experience I'm having or to deepen the experience I'm having.

When I started feeling things in my heart,
I was like,
Let me find a book that talks a bit more about this.

Oh,
The low ones before the higher ones.

Hmm.
Good question.
I think all that's important is first raising your awareness.
And that's why I think this tingling started occurring because my awareness was raising.
Yeah.
So this kind of ties into what you just said and it's third eye opening.
I think that's the path.
I honestly think that's the path because what I didn't mention actually is that third eye is sometimes called the master gland.
It's the operating system.
It's the control room for everything else.
So that's probably why it started opening.
I didn't know this before.
I just had the experience.
This is the master gland.
This allows you to go deeper with all of the other chakras.
Imagine your awareness is higher,
Right?
You're more sensitive.
So then all of the other ones can be worked on in a more powerful way.
So I'd say order.
I'm not going to answer that with something with like a this is the right way or this is the way.
What I will say is to raise your awareness first.
Start raising your awareness of what's going on.
Once you start understanding what's going on,
Then all of the other ones can come from there.
That's what I,
That's what I would say.
But in terms of order,
I'm not sure.
For me,
The way I practice is it's an upward journey.
The energy is in the base and it's going upwards.
It wants to go upwards,
But that doesn't mean you have to start with the bottom.
It just means there's blocks in certain places.
You know,
Even blocks makes me feel a bit weird saying because it makes people feel like they've got problems with them.
I don't even want to use that word.
Let's just say there's,
There's development areas in each blocks.
Blocks is a weird thing to people start emailing me saying Raj,
I have a block.
I have to go and repair my,
My vehicle.
You know,
It's like going to repair a vehicle.
I have a block in here.
Um,
And I,
It's okay to use it,
Use the language in a way where it's useful,
But often I find people are saying I've got this block and they're defeated by that word block.
The language is so important.
It's a defeating statement.
So let's say development area instead.
You see,
I get passionate about this because I get tons of people saying to me,
I went to this chakra healer.
I did this.
I did that.
Things helped.
Doesn't make me happy to see that people are not getting the right help.
Misled.
So the journey of the energy wants to go up.
There's different development areas you can work on.
They all work together.
It's one system.
So it depends on your situation.
There's no one way for everyone to do this.
So I'm not going to answer that specifically.
It depends.

It can help you create success in your whole life.

I see where you're coming from because you know what,
You know why this is said a lot is because if there is so many challenges in those areas,
Those lower chakras,
Then the energy struggles to rise.
It struggles to flow through you.
And most often people have a lot of challenges down there.
So I get your point when you're saying chakras one to three need to be open.
But again,
It's not an exact science.
It's not a like you have to go step by step.
Think of it this way.
When there is challenges,
Development areas to work on,
It means the movement of energy is not fluid.
You're not flowing through life,
Let's just say.
So any area that has a slight challenges,
That means that there is something that could occur with the energy.
For me,
It's all about it's moving up.
It's trying to move up.
But also it works in a holistic way together.
So that's the final comments.
And leave it as that.
