Hello and welcome.

I'm Rachel and this is a guided meditation specifically designed to balance the kapha dosha,

One of the three primary energies in Ayurveda.

Kapha is associated with earth and water elements and when in balance it promotes stability,

Grounding,

And nourishment.

However,

An excess of kapha can lead to feelings of heaviness,

Lethargy,

And stagnation.

This meditation will help bring your kapha dosha into equilibrium,

Leaving you feeling energized,

Focused,

And rejuvenated.

So let's begin.

Find a comfortable seated position,

Either on a cushion or on a chair,

With your spine straight and your palms resting on your thighs.

Take a moment to settle in,

Allowing your body to relax and release any tension.

Close your eyes and gently begin by taking a deep breath in through your nose,

Filling your belly with fresh revitalizing air,

And slowly exhale through your mouth,

Letting go of any stresses or negativity.

Repeat this deep breath two more times,

Allowing yourself to fully relax and become present in this moment.

Now bring attention to your breath.

Notice the natural rhythm of your inhalations and exhalations.

Visualize the breath as a warming golden light entering your body,

Bringing it vitality and warmth.

As you continue to breathe,

Imagine a soft,

Gentle breeze passing through you.

This breeze carries a sense of lightness and upliftment,

Gently sweeping away any excess kapha energy that may be weighing you down.

With each inhalation,

Visualize this refreshing breeze entering your body,

Clearing away any heaviness,

Lethargy,

Or stagnation.

Feel it revitalizing your entire being,

Bringing a renewed sense of energy and motivation.

As you exhale,

Imagine you are releasing any remaining kapha imbalances from your system.

Let go of any sluggishness or attachments that may be holding you back.

Allow the breath to carry away these energies,

Leaving you feeling light,

Vibrant,

And free.

Now shift your attention to the area around your navel,

Where the kapha dosha primarily resides.

Visualize a radiant,

Warm light glowing at the center.

See this light expanding and spreading throughout your entire body,

Balancing and harmonizing the kapha energy within you.

As the light expands,

It brings a sense of clarity and focus to your mind.

Feel your thoughts becoming clear and your mental energy sharpening.

Embrace this newfound clarity as you continue to breathe deeply.

Take a moment to appreciate the qualities of balance and stability that kapha brings when in harmony.

Reflect on the grounding aspects of this dosha and how it supports your well-being.

Express gratitude for the kapha energy within you and its role in your overall health.

Slowly bring your awareness back to the present moment.

Gently wingle your fingers and your toes,

Feeling a renewed sense of vitality in your body.

When you're ready,

Open your eyes,

Carrying this balance and rejuvenation with you into the rest of your day.

Remember that regular practice of this guided meditation can help maintain the balance of your kapha dosha.

By cultivating a sense of lightness,

Clarity and motivation,

You can embrace the positive qualities of kapha while keeping any excess energies in check.

Thank you for joining me in this meditation.

I'm Rachel and I'll see you again.

Namaste.
