Hi there,
My name is Lind and I'm here today to take you on a guided meditation to help you boost your energy.
There are times in our life when we feel we lack energy and we feel tired.
Fatigue depletes us physically,
Mentally and emotionally.
And sometimes so much so it can be a real struggle just to get through the day.
Causes of this energy drop can be down to many things including lifestyle,
Work and even big life stresses.
This short meditation is here to help you take some time out for yourself so you can refresh,
Recharge and rebalance your own energy.
Think of it as a calorie free,
Quick fits,
Energy boost you can do any time of the day.
So let's begin.
All you need is to take a comfy seat where the feet are connected to the ground and the spine is long and strong.
Have an open mind and the awareness that your body has everything it needs to boost its own energy.
I invite you to take a moment to prepare the body for meditation.
Taking some gentle stretches,
Deepening the breath so you can bring yourself home to your body.
Take your time,
There's no rush.
Closing the eyes or softening the gaze down towards the floor so you can begin to look inside yourself.
With the eyes closed or the gaze softened,
Have an awareness of the space that's around you within the room.
Begin to notice all the parts of the body that are connected to something.
So the feet on the ground,
The thighs and the buttocks on the chair and maybe there's a support behind the back.
It's time to notice the energy in the body.
See if you can sense any congestion or places that you feel may be holding on to too much energy.
Now begin to notice areas of the body you feel are lacking energy.
Now begin to notice the air is the body that you feel the energy is free flowing,
Neither blocked nor lacking.
It's time to establish a connection with the breath.
Feeling into the full journey of breath.
Sensing the feeling of lightness as you inhale and the feeling of heaviness as you exhale.
Just taking notice of how the in-breath and the out-breath affect the energy of the body.
In this practice we can begin to use our breath in a very special way to help us boost our energy.
With every exhale now see if you can release another layer of tension.
The body begins to relax with each out-breath.
Begin to direct the breath to those parts of the body that you noticed in the beginning of the practice felt congested or excessive in energy.
As if the inhale has the power to create space around those areas that feel blocked so they can begin to dislodge and work themselves free.
Now as you exhale get a sense of this stuck energy in the body being released into every cell of the body so it begins to flow more evenly and freely throughout the whole of the body.
And as the energy begins to feel more free flowing in the body perhaps if there's still some excess there you can get a sense of it being released through the exhale out of the nose.
Imagine it leaving the nostrils.
Now beginning to switch the awareness to the sense of the inhale again.
And then as you inhale imagine drawing fresh new energy in through the breath to every cell of the body.
Positive energy.
Maybe this energy has a certain feel,
Texture,
Temperature or even color.
This fresh new boost of energy enables you to feel refreshed,
Revitalized and fully recharged.
How is this fresh new breath affecting your inner experience?
Take some time to notice.
As we begin to draw this meditation practice to an end it's time to seal the practice by affirming in the mind what your body now already knows and feels.
Repeating silently in the mind's eye this is the first time you feel the energy.
I feel awake and revitalized.
I feel awake and revitalized.
I feel awake,
Balanced and revitalized.
Deepening the breath.
Begin to stretch the body.
I feel relaxed.
Whenever you're ready start to put other eyelids open.
